I did this scene in about 10 minutes. It won’t hang an any museum, but it’s easy to see the possibilities. Most of all it’s a fun way to doodle. It’s worth a look at the site to see what others have done with this app.

My friend Juan and I did some paddling on the Deep River (18 miles of it). It divides Chatham and Lee counties in NC. Most of the paddle was a slug out in flat sections with little to no current. Luckily there were a few spots like this one along the way to keep things interesting.

The sun was not kind to me. My SPF 45 didn’t stay on very well in the heat and sweat. Hopefully they’ll cure cancer or invent a skin transplant procedure soon.

Once again, my dad catches a huge fish on light tackle (10 lb test braid). This time he didn’t have to travel all the way to Mayaguana to get it. (Although he’s wearing the exact same clothing & hat.) You might recall his huge freakin’ snapper on the same tackle from last year. This snook, caught near Homosassa, FL, had to weigh over 30 lbs. Yes, I’m jealous!

While in the New River Gorge (West Virginia), we had to cross this river just above about a 25 foot waterfall. The other way over was an old train bridge that was narrow and known for popping tires. I asked Moya to snap this on the way out earlier today. I’ll share more after a good night’s sleep.
