Loews Miami Beach Hotel and Loews Coral Gables Hotel announce the launch of Alchemy by Loews, a brand-wide beverage program designed to transform traditional cocktail and Free Spirited service into a transportive moment shaped by creativity and attention to detail. Inspired by botanical apothecaries and the art of intentional craft, Alchemy by Loews introduces thoughtfully composed drinks layered with subtle sensory elements that enhance flavor, mood and connection, while showcasing the masterful mixology of the Loews beverage team.

Catering to the increased interest in curated, out-of-the-box food and beverage experiences, Alchemy by Loews embraces a refined approach to multi-dimensional hospitality. The program focuses on intuitive craftsmanship and the idea that how a drink feels on arrival is as important as how it tastes.

“Alchemy by Loews is about elevating the everyday ritual of enjoying a beverage into something quietly memorable,” said Grant Hewitt, Vice President Beverage, Loews Hotels & Co. “Every detail, from aroma and temperature to glassware and texture, is considered with intention. The result is an experience that feels personal, artisanal, and deeply rooted in hospitality.”

An Apothecary-Inspired Approach to Modern Mixology: Alchemy by Loews features layered presentations including house-made tinctures, herbal infusions, small-batch mixers, spritzers, and curated bottles that tell a story. Each element is designed to complement – not overpower – the drink’s core flavor profile. At Loews Hotels in Miami Beach and Coral Gables, the program comes to life through select beverages featuring regional ingredients, seasonal botanicals, and destination-driven flavors that reflect the hotel’s surroundings.

Alchemy by Loews at Bistro Collins – Loews Miami Beach Hotel

Volcan de Mi Tierra | Volcán XA Tequila meets Luxardo Bitter Bianco, Cocchi Americano and dry vermouth – stirred, then sparked with pink grapefruit oils. Sealed beneath a cloche and revealed tableside, it exhales a curl of citrus smoke.

Okiru Martini | Soto sake and Aplós Arise mingle with lemon, cucumber, honey water and shiso leaf – light, lifted and quietly complex. A low-ABV pour from the hotel’s Free Spirited menu that blooms with cool botanicals, like a modern apothecary elixir.

Veil of Eden | Bacardí Superior shaken with lime and strawberry, then crowned with a delicate bubble of pear smoke. A single touch releases a veil of fruit, vapor and spirit in fleeting, apothecary-inspired alchemy.

Alchemy by Loews at Americana Kitchen – Loews Coral Gables Hotel

Lychee Cristalino Martini | Cristalino vodka with lychee and rhubarb, laced with St-Germain, dry vermouth and a touch of lemon – clarified and finished with a smoke-kissed bubble – it delivers a fleeting bloom of florals and fruit in the spirit of apothacary.

Bee’s Knees | Empress Gin, lemon and lavender honey come together in a refined twist on this classic cocktail – bright, floral and quietly luminous. A polished tonic of citrus and bloom.

Manhattan | Michter’s Rye and vermouth, laced with mezcal for a sultry nod to Miami’s edge and rounded with maple. Finished tableside with a torched orange peel, releasing a flash of citrus oil and fire.

Alchemy by Loews builds on the brand’s reputation for innovative, guest-centered food and beverage programming. As consumer preferences continue to shift toward personalization, craftsmanship, and Free Spirited options, the program meets guests where they are, offering elevated experiences that feel intentional, balanced, and distinctly Miami.

By focusing on detail and sensory nuance, Alchemy by Loews reinforces the brand’s philosophy that true hospitality lies in the moments guests feel, before they even take a sip.

400 Vinyl Room, an intimate listening lounge, will debut April 25, 2026, on the 9th floor of Gale Miami Hotel & Residences in Downtown Miami.

Inspired by the legendary “400 Club”, the exclusive private enclave within Yamashiro Hollywood that served as a gathering place for the film industry’s elite in the 1920s, 400 Vinyl Room is designed to channel the allure of Hollywood’s Golden Age while drawing inspiration from Tokyo’s late-night cocktail culture. The lounge opens adjacent to Yamashiro Miami, the celebrated Los Angeles institution’s first expansion in its 111-year history. While Yamashiro offers rooftop dining with panoramic views of the Miami skyline, 400 Vinyl Room provides a more intimate counterpart, a space where music takes center stage.

Opening 400 Vinyl Room feels like completing a circle. Yamashiro brings the dining, the history, the legacy of over a century in hospitality,” says Freddy Braidi, Partner Yamashiro Miami Hospitality Group. And now, right alongside it, a room where the night truly begins. Miami has welcomed us in a way that means everything to this team, and we wanted to give something back to this city that reflects how seriously we take that. 400 Vinyl Room is that answer.”

The 50-seat lounge will boast a vinyl-only music program rooted in funk, soul, disco, and ’80s Latin, with nightly themed sessions built around the culture of record listening. Programming will explore themed nights like Saturday Night Fever spinning the anthems that defined a generation of dressing up and going out. Guest selectors and visiting DJs will join regularly for special residencies.

Bottle service has no place here. In its place, 400 Vinyl Room presents a cocktail program defined by craft, precision, and the kind of reverence for the drink that mirrors the room itself. Every cocktail on the menu is built with intention, balanced, spirit-forward, and expressive. The bar draws its philosophy from the great American cocktail tradition: spirits-led with unexpected depth.

Cocktail highlights include All Night Long, a bright highball with vodka, strawberry cordial, grapefruit, and club soda; Smooth Operator with Vida Tobalá, Midori, lime, and basil; and Saturday Night Fever, a bold, high-energy combination of Código Blanco tequila, lemon, honey, cilantro, sriracha, and wasabi salt, vibrant, spicy. A large selection of Champagne will be offered by the glass and bottle, alongside a refined tableside champagne cart with caviar service, a nod to the room’s Golden Age DNA.

Further setting the beverage program apart is the Tiny Sips menu, a distinctive collection of small-format cocktails designed for exploration. These are not miniatures, but concentrated, intentional pours: lower in volume, higher in intensity, and meant to be slowly sipped. Selections include My Way, a Manhattan-style pour with Zacapa XO rum, Antigua formula, Lo-Fi dry vermouth, and aromatic bitters; Dirty Diana, a briny, refined take on the dirty martini with Canaima gin, white vermouth, house 400 brine, and a delicate shochu rinse; and Hot Stuff, a spicy-citrus driven mix of Ocho Blanco tequila, lime, habanero bitters, Tajín, and Aperol.

Designed by AMA Designs, The 400 Vinyl Room features warm textures, amber light, where record shelves line the walls, framed gold albums shimmer under curated spotlighting. The bar anchors the room with quiet authority behind deep velvet curtains and bespoke furnishings. Curved banquettes and intimate table groupings invite lingering conversation. The aesthetic draws inspiration from 1970s hi-fi culture and the underground vinyl bars of Tokyo, where dim lighting, carefully curated sound systems, and intentional programming create an almost sacred environment for music lovers. Every design element, from lighting to seating configuration, has been carefully considered to enhance the vinyl listening experience.

The 400 Vinyl Room will be open select evenings, offering an intimate, music-driven counterpart to Yamashiro Miami. The 400 Vinyl Room is located next to Yamashiro Miami, on the 9th floor of Gale Miami Hotel & Residences (159 NE 6th Street), and invites Yamashiro guests to start or continue the evening before or after dinner in a more intimate setting.

Four Seasons Hotel Miami introduces Séptimo, an intimate new cocktail bar and destination debuting on the hotel’s seventh floor opening to the public April 29. Blending timeless technique with contemporary expression, Séptimo offers a refined yet spirited escape above the energy of Brickell, where classic mixology is reimagined through a modern lens.

Perched above the city, Séptimo invites guests into a world that feels both transportive and familiar, where the ritual of cocktail culture is celebrated with intention and ease. Designed as a seamless extension of the Four Seasons experience, the bar caters to both Miami locals and hotel guests alike, offering an elevated setting for pre- and post-dinner drinks, intimate gatherings, and late afternoon aperitifs. Rooted in the philosophy of timeless craft, contemporary spirit, Séptimo draws inspiration from the Golden Age of mixology while embracing a distinctly modern point of view, offering a refined escape that feels removed from the pace of Brickell below.

“Séptimo was envisioned as an intimate escape above the city, one that feels both elevated and effortlessly welcoming,” said Haytham Said, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Miami. “We strived to create a destination within the Four Seasons Hotel Miami where guests can unwind, connect and experience exceptional cocktails in a setting that reflects both elegance and the energy of Miami.”

Séptimo is intentionally intimate, offering a more personal and curated experience defined by both its thoughtful layout and atmospheric design. Anchored by a central bar lined with polished silver accents and a full display of premium spirits, the space transitions seamlessly into comfortable table seating designed for both cocktails and relaxed dining. A DJ booth subtly integrated along the perimeter allows music to shape the energy of the room without overpowering it, while velvet drapery, rich textures, and ambient lighting create a setting that feels elevated and inviting. Artful details – including striking portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Clint Eastwood – introduce a layer of timeless glamour, balancing classic influences with a contemporary sensibility.

At the heart of Séptimo is a dynamic cocktail program led by acclaimed beverage director and mixologist Jacopo Rosito, whose approach honors the precision of classic bartending while introducing modern techniques and unexpected flavor profiles. The menu features a thoughtful balance of signature staples and unique creations, including award-winning standouts such as the Elmy’s Margarita and Tomato & Vine, alongside refined interpretations like the Séptimo Martini and Oyster Martini. The Café Caribe is Séptimo’s interpretation of the espresso martini and unfolds as a sensory barside moment, presented in a traditional cafetera and a subtle veil of smoke, reinforcing the bar’s commitment to experience-driven mixology rooted in both ritual and innovation.

“With Séptimo, we wanted to create a cocktail experience that feels anchored in tradition yet expressive of today,” said Jacopo Rosito, Beverage Director at Séptimo. “Each cocktail is built on classic foundations, but reinterpreted with ingredients and techniques that reflect both seasonality and a sense of place.”

Complementing the cocktail program is a curated selection of refined bites by Four Seasons Hotel Miami Executive Chef Edouard DePlus designed to enhance the overall experience. The menu is divided by sharables, greens, sandwiches & burgers, mains and desserts. A main highlight includes Luana’s Polpette al Pomodoro, a nod to Jacopo’s mother’s homemade recipe, alongside a selection of classic dishes like the Séptimo Burger, Brioche Lobster Roll and Tuna Carpaccio. More indulgent offerings include the Poulet & Caviar (chicken nuggets with caviar) and Jamón Croquetas with romesco sauce, introducing a playful yet luxurious contrast, bridging classic influence with contemporary Miami flair. To top it off, guests can enjoy the Crêpes Suzette, flambéed and prepared tableside, bringing a sense of theater and tradition to the menu.

Séptimo is located at 1435 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131. Séptimo will be open daily from 3PM to midnight and is available for booking private events and special celebrations. Séptimo will feature a rotating music program from Wednesday through Saturday, with a mix of live performances and DJs enhancing the ambiance from early evening into late night.

Spicy Hospitality Group (SHG) is pleased to announce a multi-city collaboration with Japan’s internationally recognized Kichi Kichi restaurant and its acclaimed chef and owner, Motokichi Yukimura, presented in partnership with Dorsia. Spanning Miami, New York City, and Los Angeles, the limited engagement marks the chef’s first visit to the United States and his first-ever collaboration in the market.

Known for his globally recognized, highly theatrical approach, Chef Yukimura has cultivated a global following through Kichi Kichi, one of the most coveted reservations in Kyoto, Japan. At the center of the experience is his signature omurice—a classic Japanese comfort dish that Chef Yukimura has elevated to new heights. Built on a base of chicken fried rice, the dish is finished with a delicately set omelet, sliced open to reveal its soft center and finished with a rich, brown demi-glace sauce. Each preparation is executed with exact precision and presented through a choreographed tableside performance that has captivated audiences worldwide, culminating in the chef’s signature song and dance, a defining ritual of the Kichi Kichi experience. For the first time, American audiences will experience the dish as intended, prepared live by the chef himself.

The tour will begin in SHG’s Miami concepts with a full takeover of YASU Omakase on April 17–18, followed by The Joyce (April 19) and KARYU (April 20–21), each featuring bespoke, multi-course collaborations. The experience will then travel to New York City for appearances at 53 from April 23–25, before concluding in Los Angeles at Budonoki from April 27–28—both presented in partnership with SHG

Each experience will feature a prix-fixe format centered around Kichi Kichi’s signature omurice, with each host restaurant presenting its own signature dishes alongside the experience. Guests can expect an intimate format, with Chef Yukimura personally preparing and presenting the dish nightly, bringing his signature energy and technique to each service.

All reservations will be available exclusively through Dorsia, with access extended to both members and non-members via dedicated booking links. Availability is extremely limited across all cities.

This collaboration underscores Spicy Hospitality Group’s continued focus on introducing globally influential culinary talent to new audiences through highly curated, experience-driven formats.

Two chef-driven concepts in Miami with a shared love of contemporary Asian-leaning kitchens are coming together this spring for a reciprocal, two-part collaboration designed as one-night-only experiences. Zitz Sum — known for its seasonal, autobiographical tasting menus rooted in Japanese ingredients and technique with Latin American influence — will intersect with Niño Gordo’s rebellious, high-voltage interpretation of Argentine grilling filtered through Asian flavors.

The series begins on March 22, when Niño Gordo’s Chef Germán Sitz heads to Zitz Sum for its cult-favorite Friends con Benefits dinner series. The chefs will present a nine-course tasting menu ($115 per person) featuring collaborative dishes created exclusively for the evening — each concept reinterpreting the other through its own lens. Seating is limited with reservations currently available on OpenTable.

On April 15, the collaboration continues in Wynwood as Zitz Sum pops up at Niño Gordo for its Cooking with Friends series. That evening shifts to a special à la carte format, blending both culinary identities inside Niño Gordo’s retro-futuristic dining room. The menus at each event will be entirely different.
After more than two decades growing a loyal following across Spain, El Ñaño is making its way to the United States. The Ecuadorian restaurant group, which first opened in Barcelona in 2003, is now open in Coral Gables —bringing with it a concept that has quietly become a reference point for Ecuadorian cuisine in Europe.
Located at 339 Miracle Mile, El Ñaño Miami arrives with a clear intention: to share the flavors of Ecuador in a way that feels both rooted in tradition and in tune with today. It’s the brand’s first international location, following its steady growth across Barcelona, Madrid, and Zaragoza, where it now operates seven locations.

What began as a small restaurant in Barcelona has grown into something much bigger. Founded by Ecuadorian entrepreneur and chef Eloy Mera, El Ñaño was created to bring a taste of home to those far from it. At the time, Ecuadorian food was largely unknown in Spain, but through consistency, quality, and a deep respect for the cuisine, the restaurant found its audience. Over the years, it evolved, refining its identity, expanding its footprint, and building a reputation that extends well beyond its roots.

The choice of Coral Gables, and specifically Miracle Mile, was intentional. With its walkability and mix of restaurants, the neighborhood offers the kind of setting that aligns naturally with the brand’s approach—welcoming, polished, and community-driven.

At its core, El Ñaño brings the flavors of Ecuador to life with a modern Latin American twist. The menu stays true to traditional recipes, many inspired by coastal Ecuador, while adding fresh touches shaped by more than 25 years of experience. Dishes like the encebollado, a hearty fish soup with yuca, albacore tuna, and citrus onions, and the cazuela de plátano, made with green plantain, peanut, and tuna, show how the restaurant blends classic flavors with a contemporary feel.

The influence doesn’t stop there. Hints of Mediterranean technique, developed during the brand’s years in Spain, appear throughout the menu, creating dishes that feel both familiar and fresh. The result is a dining experience that resonates just as much with Ecuadorians looking for a taste of home as it does with newcomers discovering the cuisine for the first time.

Inside, the space is open and welcoming, designed to accommodate up to 100 guests. The atmosphere has a simple, elegant feel, with thoughtful details, soft music, and a relaxed vibe that makes it just as perfect for a family dinner as it is for a night out with friends or a casual business meeting. Service is at the heart of the experience, with attention, warmth, and a true understanding of the food being served.

Beyond the kitchen, the beverage program features craft cocktails with Latin influences, including signature drinks like “El Ñaño” and “El Dembow,” alongside a selection designed to complement the menu.

MILA Omakase, Miami Beach’s most intimate and design-forward omakase experience by Riviera Dining Group, and part of the globally recognized MILA brand, continues its Chef Spring Series with an exclusive two-night collaboration featuring Chef William Eick, Chef/Owner of Matsu taking place April 7–8. The collaboration marks a bicoastal culinary exchange, with the MILA Omakase team set to travel to Matsu in Oceanside later this spring for a reciprocal takeover, further extending the dialogue between the two kitchens.

Based in Oceanside, California, Matsu has earned widespread recognition for its immersive tasting menu and refined, ingredient-driven approach to modern Japanese cuisine. Since opening in 2021, Chef William has been named Best Chef in San Diego by Thrillist and has received consecutive honors from San Diego Magazine as Best Japanese Restaurant and Best New Restaurant. His cuisine is defined by a disciplined reverence for Japanese technique—from fermentation and dashi to precise knife work—interpreted through a contemporary lens.

For this limited Miami appearance, Chef William will collaborate with the MILA Omakase culinary team to co-create a bespoke tasting menu that bridges coastal California refinement with MILA’s signature MediterrAsian perspective. The experience will highlight a shared ethos rooted in restraint, seasonality, and precision, expressed through a multi-course omakase format designed to unfold as a cohesive culinary narrative.

With only ten seats per seating and two nightly seatings, the collaboration offers a rare opportunity to experience one of California’s rising voices in modern Japanese cuisine within an intimate, counter-only setting. Seatings are available at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and costs $250 per person; sake pairing available upon request. Make reservations

Following its highly anticipated return, Fooq’s is introducing a new bar menu that brings the restaurant’s signature Persian-influence and shareable dining experience into a more casual, late-night format.

Designed with the same attention to detail and flavor as the main dining room, the menu highlights bold, comforting dishes meant for grazing and gathering. Guests can start with house-made dips like Whipped Feta with pistachio and cacao pangrattato or Burnt Eggplant & Tomato with crispy shallots, all served with freshly baked za’atar bread.

From there, the offering leans into elevated bar favorites, including Duck & Foie Gras Croquettes with rhubarb ketchup, Chicken Wings finished with calabrian chili sauce, and house-made pides crafted from 48-hour cold ferment sourdough topped with options like lamb with caramelized fennel and labneh or tomato with stracciatella and sumac onion.

For those looking for something more substantial, the menu also features standout plates like Bucatini Amatricana and Black Opal NY Strip, making it just as suitable for a full meal as it is for late-night bites.

Ludlow Coffee Supply, the Lower East Side-born coffee brand celebrated for its neighborhood-first energy and meticulously sourced single-origin coffees, is opening its newest location at Domus Brickell Park this spring. This marks Ludlow’s third South Florida location, second in Miami – embracing the city as the “Sixth Borough” – and its first to debut an all-day café concept that seamlessly transitions from daytime coffee and dining into an evening cocktail lounge. The opening signals a new chapter for the brand, expanding Ludlow’s evolution from neighborhood coffee shop into a day-to-night hospitality destination while continuing its growth across South Florida.

The new location builds on Ludlow’s success in New York and South Florida, where existing cafés have cultivated loyal followings with its specialty coffee and fresh breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go offerings. The Domus Brickell Park location will mark the brand’s first all-day concept, introducing a dedicated cocktail program and evening menu while maintaining the café experience Ludlow guests know and love during the day.

The rollout will unfold in two phases: Phase One launches with the classic café experience Ludlow has refined since its first Brickell outpost at 801 Brickell, while Phase Two introduces a full-service menu and evening programming like listening sessions, DJ sets, and late night events. As Ludlow continues to grow its presence in South Florida, the Domus Brickell Park opening represents the next step in the brand’s expansion – broadening its footprint while introducing a new format that blends coffee culture with nightlife-driven hospitality. With both daytime and evening offerings, guests will enjoy service from baristas skilled in craft and hospitality alike.

On the cafe menu, guests can enjoy crafted lattes and espressos, single-origin cold brews, teas, and smoothies, alongside signature lattes like Maple, Bourbon Vanilla, Salted Caramel, and Mocha. These beverages pair perfectly with breakfast tacos, sandwiches, salads, and other favorites. As the day winds down, cocktails will carry the Ludlow experience into the night.

Designed by Zyscovich, the Domus Brickell Park location combines Ludlow’s authentic Lower East Side sensibility with Miami’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Guests are welcomed into a bright, airy coffee bar, ideal for remote work, meetings, or casual catch-ups. Outside, the patio offers an open, all-day gathering space where guests can sip coffee, unwind, or linger. When the sun sets, the café transforms, unveiling its cocktail bar and bringing a lively, social energy to the space. Complementing the dining experience, Ludlow Market Supply invites exploration with a curated selection of wellness products, pantry staples, exclusive merchandise, home goods, and vintage finds through Ludlow’s Vintage Supply program.

A place where flavor and culture collide, Ludlow Coffee Supply’s new location is set to supply the block with its laid-back energy, expertly crafted coffee and cocktails, and community-focused atmosphere. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the café will extend into evening hours as the full all-day concept rolls out.

Fort Lauderdale is about to get even sweeter! Sweet Melody Ice Cream, the beloved South Florida ice cream shop known for its small-batch flavors and nostalgic, music-inspired spirit, is expanding into the 954 with the grand opening of its third location at The Hive in Flagler Village. Officially opening its doors on Wednesday, April 1, the new 691 square-foot shop – inspired by the 1960s with a rec room vibe and vinyl spinning all day – will bring Sweet Melody’s signature scoops, playful atmosphere and community-driven charm to one of Fort Lauderdale’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

Dreamt up by Founder/Chief Executive Optimist Mike Romeu, Sweet Melody started out as a love letter to his daughter, Melody, and flourished from a passion project to a homegrown success story. After losing his job in 2015, Mike – a glass-half-full kind of guy – saw a serendipitous opportunity to dust off his untouched $50 ice cream maker and create something amazing right out of his apartment.

Within those four walls, the vision for Sweet Melody, named for his daughter and his passion for music, originated, and the brand officially launched in 2016. The original ventanita made its grand debut in Kendall in September 2019, followed by the opening of the second shop at The Citadel in August 2024. A decade later, Sweet Melody has grown into a thriving concept with 2026 marking the brand’s 10-year anniversary and expansion into four locations with the opening of four new outposts this year, starting with the Fort Lauderdale shop in April, quickly followed by the brand’s new flagship location opening on Flagler Street in Fontainebleau come May, and two more shops to be announced later this year.

Today, Sweet Melody continues to craft its ice cream in small batches using thoughtfully sourced ingredients, offering a menu that features both beloved staples and creative concoctions with the brand’s 12 classic flavors alongside four rotating, seasonally-inspired flavors, giving sweet seekers something new to try every time.

Among the signature scoops is the Kooki Monster – a fun take on cookies & cream, made with infused vanilla ice cream loaded with homemade chocolate chip cookies and classic chocolate sandwich cookies; Strawberry Fields Whenever – strawberry ice cream with swirls of housemade honey-strawberry jam; Abuela’s Flan – inspired by Michel’s grandmother’s signature dessert, it features the caramel notes and chewy texture of a classic flan and Cookie Buttah – cookie butter ice cream loaded with Biscoff Cookies as well as more classic flavors such as Vanilla Bean, Ecuadorian Chocolate, Pistachio and Bourbon Pecan.

Available until the end of May 2026, the current seasonally-inspired flavors featured in Sweet Melody’s Spring Series include Banana Pudding – vanilla pudding ice cream with layers of banana brown sugar, brandy caramel and buttery bites of housemade Nilla wafers; Tres Leches – vanilla scented coconut ice cream with silky Italian meringue and Tres Leches cake chunks; Jon Dough – cookie dough ice cream with chunks of housemade brown butter cookie dough and swirls of milk fudge; and Revenge of the Twix – Twix flavored ice cream with housemade Twix and gooey caramel. Sweet Melody’s vibrant flavor lineup also features delicious vegan-friendly options including Midnight Chocolate Truffle and Strawberry Banana Sorbet.

As if the grand debut of Sweet Melody Fort Lauderdale wasn’t already sweet enough, the brand is featuring a signature flavor, The Hive – buttery vanilla ice cream, chocolate flakes and honeycomb candy, exclusively at its Flagler Village shop, and is teaming up with iconic, local concepts – including Heritage, Wells Coffee, Cookie Head and LoveLee Bakeshop – throughout the month of April to dream up creative flavors that will be offered only at the Fort Lauderdale location.

Sweet Melody Fort Lauderdale is located at 908 N Flagler Drive at The Hive in Flagler Village. Hours of operation: Monday to Thursday from 4PM – 10PM; Friday from 4PM – 12AM; Saturday from 2PM – 12AM; and Sunday from 2PM – 10PM.

On March 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Dani Soto-Innes (World’s 50 Best – Best Female Chef, 2019)— joins friends Eli Martínez Bello (World’s 50 Best Bars – North America’s 50 Best Bartender, 2025) and Bistro Ocho Pastry Chef Dani Meza for a rare Miami tasting of Soto-Iness’s acclaimed cuisine in Miami.

Best known for her work at Cosme and Atla in New York, and more recently for opening Rubra in Punta de Mita, Nayarit, Soto-Innes has built a reputation for cooking that is precise, expressive and grounded in Mexican technique without being tied to nostalgia. Her appearance at Bistro Ocho marks a rare Miami outing, and a chance to experience her cooking outside the context of a permanent restaurant.

The six-course menu will include dishes such as squid with romano beans, green mango and mandarin; Hokkaido scallop with finger limes and husk cherries; green mole with white cheddar, greens and huacatay; and bluefin tuna belly with tropical fruit.

For the evening, Soto-Innes will be, joined by Eli Martínez Bello, Bistro Ocho’s Beverage Director and World’s 50 Best Bars North America’s Best Bartender (2025), who will craft a bespoke cocktail programme for the night, as well as Dani Meza, Bistro Ocho’s Executive Pastry Chef, responsible for desserts, sweets and candies.

Rather than a traditional single sitting, the dinner will unfold through staggered seatings across the dining room and bar between 6.00pm and 9.00pm, creating a more convivial experience, true to a night at Bistro Ocho.

The tasting menu, including dessert, is priced at $150 per person, with cocktails available a la carte from the dedicated menu. Reserve your spot here.

Motek, the beloved Miami-born Mediterranean restaurant, has opened its ninth location in the vibrant Midtown Miami neighborhood. The newest outpost brings Motek’s signature kosher-style, 100% seed oil-free cuisine to one of Miami’s most dynamic and fast-growing districts, while unveiling a bold evolution of the brand’s Mediterranean design. The Midtown opening also introduces Sesame Bakery in a conjoined space, with fresh pastries and a coffee program offered right next door.

This opening marks Happy Corner Hospitality’s continued expansion and momentum following its entrance into New York City’s Flatiron District in September 2025, with additional growth planned across both markets.

A South Florida favorite since launching in 2020, Motek has grown into an eight-location phenomenon across Coral Gables, Brickell, Downtown Miami, South Beach, Miami Beach, Aventura, Boca Raton, and now Midtown Miami. Under the Happy Corner Hospitality umbrella, the group also includes Yalla Motek, a kosher Mediterranean street food concept at Aventura Mall, and Sesame Bakery, a European-style bakery with Mediterranean influences in North Miami.

Known for its vibrant cuisine and warm ambiance, Motek draws inspiration from Eastern Mediterranean traditions, merging bold flavors with family-rooted hospitality. Signature dishes include the whole Mediterranean branzino, signature hummus selections, crispy chicken schnitzel with harissa aioli, the award-winning Arayes burger, Turkish lamb kebabs, traditional hot and cold mezzes, and vibrant labneh-based dips, all served with freshly-baked laffa bread. Guests can also enjoy Motek’s popular $5 happy hour and favorite all-day brunch offerings.

As of June 2025, all Happy Corner Hospitality brands are 100% seed oil-free, becoming one of the first hospitality groups in the United States to receive the Seed Oil Free Certified seal from the Seed Oil Free Alliance. Dishes are crafted exclusively with premium fats such as olive oil, avocado oil, and real butter, replacing all industrial seed oils.

The design at the new Midtown Miami location builds upon the storytelling-driven aesthetic, while introducing striking new architectural elements, including a 10-foot-tall breeze wall at the entrance, a custom yellow tile oven, and arched kitchen portals crowned with a pergola draped in yellow florals. Handmade umbrellas, custom lanterns, and light fixtures layer the dining room with texture and warmth, while a bespoke wall designed by co-owner Tessa Levy features arched niches symbolizing passage, history, and cultural connection.

The result is a restaurant that feels transportive and grounded, where Mediterranean warmth meets Miami’s light, movement, and optimism. Designed for gathering, lingering, and shared hospitality, the Midtown location reflects Motek’s continued evolution while honoring the sunshine-yellow identity that has become synonymous with the brand.

Fuku, the cult-favorite fried chicken concept from chef and cultural icon David Chang, will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, March 11, at 135 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Fla. The debut marks Fuku’s first standalone South Florida location, joining 15 existing Fuku outposts in major stadiums, arenas and ballparks across the U.S. A second South Florida location is planned for West Palm Beach later in 2026, marking a major step in the brand’s national growth.

Originally an off-menu item at David Chang’s Momofuku Noodle Bar in NYC, the Fuku sando quickly gained a devoted following for its bold flavors. Its popularity led to Fuku’s first East Village location in 2015, and it has since become a national favorite, known for craveable spicy fried chicken sandwiches and boundary-pushing flavors. The Coral Gables opening brings this quick, chef-driven eatery to South Florida in an approachable, must-visit setting.

At the heart of the menu are Fuku’s signature sandos — each breaded in-house, served on a butter-toasted potato roll, and available in spicy or mild: the OG Sando with crispy fried chicken, Fuku mayo, and pickles; the Sweet & Spicy Sando with hand-breaded chicken glazed in Fuku Sweet & Spicy sauce, topped with pickled daikon and Fuku Crunch; and the Miso Ranch and Slaw Sando with crispy chicken, rice vinegar slaw, and miso scallion ranch. Sandos range from $10 to $12.

Beyond sandos, the menu features OG Tenders and Sweet & Spicy Tenders, Wedge Salad, Waffle Fries, Party Fries (topped with Fuku Mayo, Miso Ranch, Honey Mustard, Fuku Crunch, and scallions), Chicken Garlic Rice, Crunchy Slaw, Cucumber Salad, Potato Salad and craveable extras like Momofuku Chili Crunch and pickled toppings.

For dessert, guests will enjoy a collaboration with Fookem’s Fabulous, the renowned Coconut Grove bakery, and Milk Bar cookies bringing a beloved fan-favorite classic into the mix. The beverage lineup keeps things equally cool and casual, with oolong sweet tea, yuzu lemonade, fountain sodas, slushies and a curated selection of wine and canned beer. Tenders range from $9 to $10, and sides from $4 to $6, with slushies and beverages priced at $3 to $6, offering approachable price points for casual dining or quick takeout.

The 2,000 square-foot Coral Gables location features an urban contemporary design with a welcoming, bright atmosphere. The interior showcases Fuku’s playful peach color, inspired by its namesake Momofuku, or “lucky peach.”

To mark opening day on Wednesday, March 11, Fuku will offer a series of on-site experiences and local collaborations, including:

Fuku’s Lucky 135 Drop: In recognition of the address at 135 Miracle Mile, the first 135 guests will receive a limited-edition tote designed by artist West of Chester, Momofuku Chili Crunch, Milk Bar cookies, a $20 Fuku gift card and Fuku brand merchandise. Five surprise “golden bags” will include a $100 Fuku gift card.

Beverage Highlights: Selections from a community loved craft brewery

On-site Experiences: Guests can enjoy interactive moments throughout the day, including a vintage photo booth and custom Fuku T-shirt screen printing.

With its laid-back, street-forward energy and menu built around fried chicken done right, Fuku Coral Gables is set to become a must-visit destination for locals, visitors, hospitality insiders, and anyone chasing the next flavor hit.

Guests of Fuku Coral Gables can enjoy dine-in or takeout, with convenient options for every lifestyle. Hours of operation will be Thursday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday to Wednesday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Brickell Key is set to welcome a breathtaking new dining destination this spring with the opening of The Mexican, a contemporary Mexican restaurant where refined cuisine meets extraordinary design. Opening in April 2026, the Miami location marks the brand’s highly anticipated expansion from its celebrated Dallas flagship, introducing a new benchmark for modern Mexican fine-dining in South Florida. Owned by Monterrey businessman Roberto González Alcalá, the restaurant was envisioned to offer a sophisticated culinary destination that honors Mexican heritage while embracing a global point of view.

Set along the pristine waterfront, The Mexican Miami spans more than 10,000 square feet and accommodates over 330 guests across expansive indoor and outdoor spaces. The restaurant stands out for its Mexican art–driven design, an aesthetic concept that reflects contemporary Mexico without losing its roots, which was conceived by internationally acclaimed interior architect Paulina Morán, whose work is recognized for transforming cultural influences into immersive, visually striking environments.

In 2023, The Mexican Dallas was named one of the World’s Most Beautiful Restaurants and the best of North America by Prix Versailles, a distinction that placed it among the world’s most admired hospitality interiors. The Miami location continues that legacy, conceived as a fully immersive experience where architecture, artistry, and hospitality are seamlessly intertwined.

The high-level culinary program stands at the heart of the experience. Deeply rooted in the traditions of Northern Mexican cuisine, the menu is guided by heritage recipes refined through modern technique, premium sourcing, and meticulous execution. Each dish honors the past while speaking to a contemporary Miami palate.

Standout dishes include Barbacoa de Arrachera, slow-cooked skirt steak inspired by Northern Mexico’s traditional barbacoa, served tender and deeply flavorful; Ribeye Aguachile, a bold, contemporary preparation layered with avocado, radish, and dried piquín chile; and Lobster Elote, a luxurious take on Mexican street corn featuring Maine lobster, roasted corn, Mexican crema, and Oaxacan cheese.

Vegetable-forward dishes such as Roasted Cauliflower, finished with truffle, habanero ash, and toasted pistachios, showcase the kitchen’s attention to balance and technique, while premium offerings like the Wagyu Spinalis Steak pay tribute to Mexico’s fire-driven culinary heritage. The restaurant will also feature a selection of Miami-exclusive dishes, highlighting local purveyors and South Florida influences, including the flavorful Tuna Tomahawk, a nod to Miami’s coastal bounty and the city’s ingredient-driven dining culture.

The beverage program mirrors this creativity with a margarita and cocktail selection that extends beyond the classics, including Mujeres Divinas, infused with hibiscus and damiana; La Niña Fresa, a bright, fruit-forward blend of strawberry and ginger; and elevated reserve margaritas such as Zapata and Pancho Villa, crafted with ultra-aged tequilas and citrus-forward finishes.

The Mexican Miami is located at 601 Brickell Key Drive, Suite 100, Miami, FL 33131. The restaurant will be open for dinner Monday through Wednesday and Sunday from 5:00-10:00 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 5:00-11:00 p.m. The bar opens daily at 4:00 p.m., with hours until 11:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Sunday, and until 12:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Reservations will be available via OpenTable beginning on March 15.

The Sylvester is shaking things up as the beloved Midtown bar known for its retro vibes, maximalist mischief and anything-but-boring drinks has debuted a brand-new drink menu. Built around the classics people can’t stop ordering (martinis, spritzes, margaritas, highballs), each reimagined with a distinctly “Florida man” twist, the drinks are familiar at first glance, but playful, tropical and a little unhinged once you dig in.

The new lineup features 10 original cocktails alongside two Sylvester staples that guests already know and love: the spicy passion fruit margarita Vaxxxed & Waxxxed, and the clarified cult classic Albino Gator. Together, the menu strikes a balance between approachability and creativity with classic structures, Florida flavors and just enough personality to feel unmistakably Sylvester.

Every cocktail begins with a familiar framework, the kinds of drinks guests already love ordering, then gets reworked with Florida ingredients, tongue-in-cheek names and high-level techniques like clarification and carbonation. As The Sylvester evolves into a higher-energy, club-like destination on weekends, the new menu is designed to deliver complex, thoughtful cocktails at volume, keeping service seamless while the dance floor fills up. The goal is to push creativity without sacrificing speed, consistency or hospitality.

Some of the new lineup includes:

Only in Dade ($18) – A guava pastelito-inspired cocktail built around Zacapa rum, guava and mascarpone foam.

B.B.L Martini ($18) – Short for “Better Basic Lychee Martini,” this martini blends Grey Goose vodka, lychee, coconut and local JoJo jasmine tea for a floral, subtly tropical take on the fan favorite.

Cream Team ($19) – The bar’s playful spin on an orange creamsicle highball with Tanqueray gin, tangerine, vanilla, caramel and yogurt, clarified and carbonated for a silky, sparkling finish.

Not a Tomatini ($17) – An ode to the team’s favorite restaurant bar’s iconic Tomatini, reimagined the Sylvester way with The Botanist gin, strawberry, tomato and balsamic.

Vice City ($17) – Santa Teresa 1796 rum meets raspberry, cafecito, cacao and lime in a drink that tastes like Miami.

Award-winning chef Ivan Barros and hospitality powerhouse Caroline Strauss, the founders behind Magie Wine Bar, are doubling down on Little River with their newest concept, Bar Fideo, set to open Fall 2026 just steps from Magie’s current location. Ivan Barros, Food Network’s Ciao House Season 2 winner and one of Miami’s most dynamic culinary talents, and Strauss, a globally experienced operator known for shaping some of the city’s most beloved concepts, continue to redefine neighborhood-driven hospitality. Together, they form a true powerhouse, blending bold, thoughtful food with deep operational expertise and a shared commitment to building places that endure rather than chase trends.

Bar Fideo builds on the spirit that has defined Magie from day one: unfiltered hospitality, bold yet approachable food, and spaces designed to bring people together organically. Inspired by Spain’s neighborhood bars and historic market culture, the concept is envisioned as a lively, come-as-you-are destination where food is meant to be shared, drinks flow easily, and guests are encouraged to drop in without an agenda, and stay as long as they’d like.

At the heart of the concept is Chef Ivan Barros, a Miami native with Dominican roots and one of the most dynamic culinary résumés in the city. Barros honed his craft in some of the country’s most respected kitchens, from Scarpetta and Macchialina in Miami to Scott Conant’s corporate culinary team in New York City. After spending eight years in Los Angeles—where he opened his own restaurant in Santa Monica, Barros returned to Miami to lead as executive chef at Michael Schwartz’s Amara at Paraiso, further cementing his reputation as a culinary leader.

His bold, refined approach earned him national recognition as the Food Network’s Ciao House Season 2 champion, along with features on the Cooking Channel and accolades from StarChefs. At Magie, Barros has already elevated the wine bar food experience through inventive, craveable dishes that balance technique with playfulness. With Bar Fideo, he expands that vision into a menu of shareable plates designed to match the energy of the room and the rhythm of the neighborhood.

Equally central to the concept is Caroline Strauss, whose career spans some of the most influential hospitality brands and operators locally and globally. A South Florida native, Strauss began her career in Miami, helping shape standout venues including Macchialina, Makato, The Anderson, and 27 Restaurant. She later transitioned to a global role as Global Director for sbe, where she led development and operational strategy for more than 60 restaurant and bar concepts across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America in partnership with Ennismore, the group behind brands such as SLS, Delano, Mondrian, Hyde, and Hoxton.

Since 2020, Strauss has also served as Director of Hospitality for The Citadel, one of Miami’s most successful food halls also located in Little River giving her a uniquely deep understanding of how hospitality shapes neighborhoods from the inside out. She is bringing her worldly knowledge to a neighborhood dear to her heart.

Ahead of its official opening, Bar Fideo will host a series of pre-opening pop-ups beginning March 2026, offering the community an early look at the concept. Held on the terrace of the new space, these pop-ups will feature early tastings of Bar Fideo’s menu, previews of the evolving design, and opportunities for guests to engage directly with the team, ensuring the neighborhood’s voice is reflected every step of the way leading up to the opening.

Like Magie, Bar Fideo will follow a no-reservations, neighborhood-first approach, encouraging spontaneity, repeat visits, and a natural flow that reflects the way people actually dine and socialize in Little River.

Huey Magoo’s – the fast-casual brand famous for its bold flavors and hand-crafted chicken tenders, is bringing its fan-favorite tenders to North Miami, FL with the grand opening of its newest location. Huey Magoo’s expands its commitment to bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and made-to-order meals with the opening of its 86th restaurant nationwide.
To celebrate the grand opening, Huey Magoo’s North Miami will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 12th.
Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza, the acclaimed Miami-born pizzeria known for its artisanal star-shaped pizzas and Michelin-recognized craft, will debut its newest location in Dania Pointe this March, bringing its signature blend of culinary craft, cultural energy and neighborhood-rooted hospitality to one of the area’s fastest growing shopping and dining destinations.

The opening places Mister O1 within Dania Pointe, a rapidly growing open-air destination known for its curated mix of dining, retail and entertainment, further reinforcing the area’s emergence as a culinary and lifestyle hub in Broward County.

Founded by internationally acclaimed Italian chef, Renato Viola – whose culinary mastery earned him the O-1 visa for extraordinary artistic ability – Mister O1 has grown from a Miami Beach hidden gem into a nationally celebrated concept. Distinguished by the slow-fermented dough, premium Italian and local ingredients and a playful, creative approach to flavor, the brand continues its expansion north in Broward and beyond.

The Dania Pointe opening puts Mister O1’s menu front and center, from fan-favorite signatures like the Star Luca, with ricotta-filled points, to inventive pizzas like the Coffee Paolo, made with Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella, gorgonzola blue cheese, natural honey, coffee and spicy salami. Rounding out the menu are classics including the Bella Margherita, steamy calzones, fresh salads, a burrata bar and indulgent dessert pizzas like the Nutella Pizza, while seasonal creations and chef collaborations offer guests a reason to return again and again.

While the food anchors the experience, Mister O1 has become equally known for the cultural moments it creates. Each location serves as a gathering place that blends creativity, hospitality and community spirit. The Dania Pointe location will be the first location with an indoor patio, making it a pizza oasis nestled within the hustle and bustle of the increasingly popular Dania Pointe.

From burrata and wine nights to limited-time flavor drops and events that tap into local rhythms, Mister O1’s approach is rooted in the belief that pizza is both a craft and a connector, inspiring new way to bring people together around the table.
