Our Pledge of Allegiance resonates as developments unfold in our country.

I Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United....UNITED STATES of AMERICA, and to the Republic for which it stands, ONE NATION UNDER GOD indivisible with LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.

In the 1890's at the end of the 19th Century, the Pledge of Allegiance was born.
In 1892 Frances Bellamy, an ordained Baptist minister composed a pledge that expressed loyalty not only to a nation but to an idea "liberty and justice for all".

The pledge was altered in 1942, and a decade later, the pledge was altered once more. In 1953 the Knights of Columbus launched a massive letter-writing campaign to add the words "under God". Then on February 7, 1954, the Reverend George M Docherty, pastor of the New York Avenue Presbyterian church in Washington D.C. delivered a sermon on the subject.

Three days later a bill was introduced in Congress to add the words "under God". Baer recalls that Congressmen said, "Communists will feel very uncomfortable saying the pledge, because they were "atheists". On Flag Day, June 14th Eisenhower signed the bill into law.

Bellamy's 22-word pledge had now grown to 31 words. Yet, six of his original words still best express their central sentiment. " With liberty and justice for all".

WHAT IS THE REAL MEANING OF PATRIOTISM

According to project 2025 a right-wing and the MAGA movement party agenda prepared to take the main stage in the next coming months, we will see an America so dark and depraved of every single resource, devastated by oil drilling, protected lands destroyed, and our natural resources killed by 73 million voters that were influenced by his divisive rhetoric and diabolic intentions.

I can assure you that America will see it's darkest days under Trump. but we the people need to fight the good fight and never give up, never give up hope, never give up on the promise of America, never give up on the possibilities, never give up on our DEMOCRACY, never give up on our principles, never give up on equality (that all men are created equal), never give up on the rule of law, never give up our FREEDOM including freedom of speech, the right to express ideas and opinions without government interference or punishment. It's protected by the First Amendment of the US Constitution, and never give up on our Constitution.

Mr. Trump will be President for the 73 million Americans who voted for him. However, not so much for the 68 million that fired him.

WORLD LEADERS SHOW RESPECT FOR BIDEN AND HIS FOREIGN POLICY ACHIEVEMENTS

As President Biden exits the race, he endorses Kamala Harris to run in his place, making this choice a tremendous positive impact within the party and the American people.

Many of his allies paid tribute for his foreign policy achievements and acknowledged his decision.

Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz posted on X: " Thanks to Biden, transatlantic cooperation is close, NATO is strong and the USA is a good and reliable partner. His decision not to run again deserves recognition."

The United Kingdom's Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he respects Biden and looks forward to working together for the rest of his presidency.

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, "I am keeping my fingers crossed for the USA that a good president emerges from the democratic competition of two strong and equal candidates."

Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky said he respects Mr. Biden's "tough but strong decision" and thanked him for his "unwavering support for Ukraine's fight for freedom."

Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Mr. Biden had "made difficult decisions" throughout his political career that have "kept the world safer, and democracy and freedom stronger."

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau thanked Mr. Biden and US First Lady Jill Biden, calling the president a "true friend" to Canadians.

Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida "The Japan-US alliance is the cornerstone of our country's diplomacy and security"

The Reagan Era is over!

Serious government is the new Era of governing.

The widely accepted idea that serious government is inherently bad won't persist after coronavirus.

A functioning serious government is crucial for a healthy society. Success came in states where serious government, civic and private sector leaders joined their strengths together in a spirit of self-sacrifice for the common good.

Serious Government

Time to begin to promote more constructive patterns in our cultural and political discourse. Americans return to a new seriousness because serious government is a matter for serious people. Change post Covid 19 is undisputable and many challenges rely on the new administration going forward, expertise matters and Biden's Administration is the new way to build back better.

In a national crisis a recognition including those entrusted with protecting our health, preserving our liberties and overseeing our National Security-need to be staffed with experts (not political loyalists), best decisions need to be made through a reasoned policy process and predicated on evidence-based science and historical and geopolitical knowledge.

Instead of Trump's "America First" foreign policy, we need to return to multilateral diplomacy, and to the understanding that cooperation with allies and adversaries, too-is especially necessary when it comes to dealing with global problems like climate change and viral pandemics.

Most of all, we need to remember that public trust is crucial to governance and that trust depends on telling the truth, distort nothing, and try to manipulate no one. The aftermath of the coronavirus is likely to include a new political uprising. Once the health emergency is over, we will see the extend to which rich, well-connected and well-resourced communities will have been taken care of, while contingent, poor and stigmatized communities will have been thoroughly destroyed. Moreover, political action is possible-multi trillion dollar bailouts and projects can be mobilized quickly-only if the cause is considered urgent.

This mismatch of long-disregarded populations getting unattended or dismissed, will likely have drastic consequences, and this is why Biden is prioritizing a massive Covid relief package that will include direct checks, unemployment supplement benefits, tribal and local governments, schools, vaccine distribution, infrastructure and other resources.

When the crisis ends (because it will), we will reorient our politics and make substantial new investments in public goods for health and public services. Finally, this current plague time might see a recharged commitment to a closer-to-the-bone worldview that recognizes we have a short time on earth, the clock is ticking and we need to change our approach to everyday existence, so that we don't fall in line with trump-like tyrannies and orthodoxy which are environmentally and physiologically devastating behaviors.

Therefore, living peacefully and meaningfully together is going to take much more than our day-to-day habits. America is fragile and democracy is at stake, the evilness of Trump rooted in our country for the past 4 years has debilitated and destabilize our form of serious government, it will take time to restore faith, strength and our trust in a system of serious government that works for all Americans.

Mitch McConnell was the only person holding back the Covid Relief Aid so much needed for the millions of unemployed, hospitals, businesses, local & state governments and Covid 19 resources including the distribution of vaccines to fight this raging pandemic virus, and now he blocks the $2,000 stimulus check as part of Covid-19 relief package that was signed into law on Sunday.

Georgians, this is your chance and the only opportunity to take control of the Senate, keep voting early and let us see a massive turnout on January 5th, this is a must-have Christmas present.

More than 2.3 million people had already cast their ballot early, in person or by absentee ballot, by Tuesday morning, particularly among African American voters, and the continued engagement of younger voters, especially first time voters in their 20's registered as Democrats.

The only way to help Biden enact important legislature and move his agenda forward including a Covid Relief Package that's sizable to boost our ailing economy, is by having a Democratic Senate majority that sends the right message to those Republicans opposing a new Relief Aid to help all Americans survive these few months of economic instability, and most likely all of next year.

KEEPING THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT ALIVE

Despite the challenges, wickedness, corruption, infections, deaths, despair and pain, Americans are once more challenged in crisis and chaos, it also shows how we can come together uniting our country and overcoming hurdles in these critical times.

Our faith, core values and family goes beyond recognition against all odds, we are no longer the Blue or Red states, we are the United States.

One day there shall be peace and truth, a day is coming when there will be no more sickness, pain or death and when He will wipe away every tear from our eyes.

This nation under God was founded upon Biblical principles where He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. In these pandemic times where hope is around the corner, a new daylight will shine again, the obstacles of the past can become the gateways that lead to new beginnings.

The pandemic will eventually come to a medical end with a vaccine, however for now, we have to learn to live in a world with the disease and live our lives with a few modifications adjusting to the social distancing and mask wearing.

Let's keep the Christmas spirit alive despite the circumstances, enjoy the holidays in a different way having a small Christmas dinner party outdoors limiting the amount of people gathering to four, wearing masks and keeping a physical distance from each other.

An end to the pandemic is potentially within range, the transition to 'normal' again will come when Herd immunity is achieved, however the longer it takes to remove the constraints on our economies, the greater will be the economic damage.

We must stay strong, resilient, optimistic and hopeful. STAY UNITED AND SAFE..

U.S. SUPREME COURT DISMISSED THE LAWSUIT

I was appalled to learn that Rep. Mario Diaz Balart was included on the 100+ list of representatives behind the corruption to overturn a fair and square election, it is shameful, it is wrong, it is un-American and unconstitutional.

A conspiracy never seen before in this country. All of those Republican members of the House of Representatives including Mario Diaz Balart from Florida in support of a Texas lawsuit filed with the U.S Supreme Court that seeks to overturn Biden's victory, was dismissed today.

Representatives are elected by the people in the states they serve, supporting the lies of unsubstantiated accusations about the voting in four states, and supporting Trump's evilness rooted in their minds, will have serious consequences. As a republican I will never forget the evil scheme plotted to undermine our free election and our democracy, because Biden won with 80+million votes mine included.

No one will take our right to vote, no one will manipulate our voting system, it is too much and ENOUGH. Stop the conspiracy theory from a wannabe dictator clinching to power, it will not work in this country, we will stand by vigilantly and ready to fight back.

This is an abuse and violation of judicial process and no one is above the law. Continue with the farce and we the people have something for you.

You lost! And now you're trying to steal the very same election you legally lost? The Supreme Court did not hear your frivolous lawsuit aimed at disenfranchising the legitimacy of the election. Trump and Republicans know that there's no evidence of fraud, the mere idea to stay in power sounds like he's attempting to stage some kind of political coup. Act like this is our first coup, if we want to be sure that it's also our last.

As for the AG's backing this unconstitutional claim, your responsibility is to your state and the rule of law. Furthermore, Trump supporters will have no option but to turn the page and move on. It is over for Donald Trump, you lost! Respect the American People and our Electoral Process. Get over it! Sooner than later.

BIDEN'S BEST PLAN: REMOVING THE MADNESS, BEING CALM AND HAVING AN ECONOMIC AGENDA

President Trump is impeding the transition and ignoring the surging coronavirus pandemic that caused this year's recession. Barring an improbable sweep of two runoffs for Georgia Senate seats in early January, Biden will definitely face stiff resistance of his economic and other ambitious agenda for growth from a Republican-controlled Senate.

However, the economy is better- positioned to recover now with Biden than it was then. Simply replacing an erratic, fumbling administration with an experienced, serious minded-one--whether Biden gets much through Congress or not--should speed the recovery.

The economy is still short 10 million jobs it had in February. The fall resurgence of the virus threatens to halt the recovery in the remaining weeks of 2020. Biden has an aggressive COVID 19 plan once he takes office, if we get control of the virus, the economy will recover on its own.

A new coronavirus relief package could ameliorate the near-term threat of intensified economic suffering. By year-end, millions face the expiration of unemployment benefits and evictions protections from earlier pandemic legislation such as PUA (Pandemic Unemployment Assistance. Hundreds of thousands of public employees face the threat of layoffs by state and local governments starved of tax revenue but required by law to balance their budgets.

Even a smaller stimulus package now would boost the 2021 economy than by seeking a larger one when Biden takes office.

Biden aims to reverse the tax-cuts and deregulatory steps that business interest have applauded throughout Trump's term. However, corporations and Wall Street have also signaled they welcome a turn away from Trump's impulsive trade wars and erratic behavior. The calm and good spirit that Biden brings removes uncertainty.

PRESIDENT TRUMP'S SUPPORTERS GATHERED IN WASHINGTON DC

Thousands of conservatives have gathered in downtown Washington DC, for a major protest of the election results. The people are packed in, filling more than a block of Pennsylvania Avenue- just blocks from the White House. Many of those attending are not wearing masks, but a good number are seeing with face coverings.

Several groups are sponsoring the protest and range from everyday supporters of President Trump to some groups identified as far right, white supremacists, or know to peddle conspiracy theories. Those who had gathered hours before the event kicked off were excited when President Trump's motorcade drove by the scene. Some of them ran towards his limousine as it passed by the scene.

A National Park Service permit was issued for one of the events with its organizers saying as many as 10,000 protestors could be attending, but it's unclear how many people will actually show up.

Trump tweeted it was "heartwarming" to see protests against the election results happening, including the one in DC, and said he might drop by to "say hello" but there's no mention of it on his Saturday schedule. President Trump is once again tweeting that Congress should pass a Covid-19 relief bill, saying it should be "big and focused," which seems to combine Democrat and Republican wishes from an additional stimulus package. "Congress must do a Covid Relief Bill. Needs Democrats support. Make it big and focused. Get it done!" Trump tweeted Saturday morning.

If a stimulus bill is passed, it will create millions of jobs and income by generating more consumers. The point of stimulus is to increase economic growth and thereby generate more jobs. GET IT DONE!

WAKE UP AMERICA! TRUMP AND HIS TEAM ARE SUGGESTING TO BASICALLY HIJACK OUR DEMOCRATIC PROCESS

THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE PLAY:

As the weaknesses of President Trump's legal cases to overturn Joe Biden's win become clearer, Republicans are talking more about the Electoral College-hinting at an extreme last-chance way for Trump to cling to power.

WHAT WE'RE WATCHING: In this long-shot scenario, Trump and his team could try to block secretaries of state in contested states from certifying results. That could allow legislatures in those states to try to appoint new electors who favor Trump over Biden.

>One lawyer familiar with the process said: It's basically hijacking the democracy." "They've got nothing else; you'd be trying to deny Joe Biden the 270." In this case the 279 electoral votes that Biden won.

>If Trump were to pursue this course, it likely would become apparent the week leading up to Thanksgiving, as states face deadlines to finalize election results. Trump tweeted yesterday "we will win"

Trump has not directly said he would pursue this strategy. But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo each noted on Tuesday that the election results don't become official until electors cast their votes next month.

Biden's status as president-elect is based on raw vote totals reported by individual states. Those totals don't become official until states certify them. The Constitution prescribes that those official results will be used to apportion electors who officially pick the president.

>"At some point here, we'll find out finally who was certified (the winner) in each of these states, and the Electoral College will determine the winner and that person will be sworn in on January 20," McConnell said. "No reason for alarm."

>One senate leadership aide said McConnell was not signaling an elector strategy and was simply noting that it's not uncommon for there to be litigation before the Electoral College results are complete.

>Pompeo, who raised questions with a line about how there would be a "smooth transition to a second Trump administration," independently raised the Electoral College during a State Department news conference. "When the process is complete, there's going to be electors selected," he said. "There's a

process; the Constitution lays it out pretty clearly."

This is how it works: If a lawsuit successfully stops certification of results in a state, legislators there could step into the void and pick a pro-Trump slate of electors.

>The lawyer to speak about the scenario, said Trump's team now appears to be trying to throw enough dirt at the process for counting late ballots to argue that accurate results can't be ascertained.

>The next step could be to try to get federal or state courts to enjoin secretaries of state from certifying results.

>Any move to provide an alternative slate of electors could force the first real test of the Electoral Count Act of 1887 and could land before the Supreme Court.

>Among the key swing states, Arizona and Georgia have GOP governors and legislatures, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin have Democratic governors but GOP legislatures.

"This is a horrible idea, one that should be morally repugnant to every American," elections law expert Edward B Foley wrote recently in The Washington Post.

>"For a state legislature to reclaim this power after voters have already cast their own ballots would be an even more egregious intrusion into the democratic process."

Conclusion: Even if the GOP was able to get injunctions, it would be an arduous legal process before legislatures could take the matter into their own hands.

>"How many compliant judges are going to throw themselves on the ground in front of that train?" the lawyer said. "And how many legislatures are going to go along with it?" Instead, he said, Trump may try to "scare the living bejeezus out of everyone to gain leverage and then cut a deal for him and his family."

To all Republican senators and as a republican I'd say, get you act together because your party is at risk of losing credibility, respect and accountability, so let's puncture this trial balloon, quickly and decisively, and let the people, not state legislatures, decide who will be their next president, already chosen by the people president-elect Joseph Biden.

Let's not forget that during this hideous judicial process, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi could claim the right to serve as acting president starting on January 20 for as long as Senate Republicans fail to recognize Biden's status as president-elect based on the popular vote in the relevant states, and in Pennsylvania alone Biden won over 4 million of the popular votes. So don't count on Congress to settle a close US presidential election.

Biden exceeded the electoral votes required and the popular votes were substantially higher as well, making this charade of lawsuit games a
non-contestable claim.

JOSEPH BIDEN JR ELECTED THE 46TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

Congratulations to Joe Biden who will face a challenging economic and social instability in our country, I have no doubt that he will overcome those challenges.

Joseph Biden Jr defeated President Donald Trump to become the 46th president of the United States on Saturday, positioning himself to lead a nation gripped by a historic pandemic and a confluence of economic and social turmoil.

His victory came after more than three days of uncertainty. Biden crossed 270 Electoral College votes with a win in Pennsylvania.

Trump refused to concede, threatening further legal action on ballot counting in several states.

Biden staked his candidacy less on any distinctive political ideology but around the notion that Trump posed a threat to American democracy, which proved effective, resulting in pivotal victories in Michigan, Wisconsin as well as Pennsylvania.

Kamala Harris also made history as the first Black woman to become vice president and the highest- ranking woman ever to serve in government.

Trump is the first incumbent president to lose reelection since Republican George HW Bush in 1992.

Trump's refusal to concede has no legal implications. But it could add to the incoming administration's challenge of bringing the country together after a bitter election. The nation has a long history of presidential candidates peacefully accepting the outcome of elections.

The stakes are high tonight when we will know what direction our country is heading, our country is restive amid a devastating pandemic, protests for racial justice, and the growing power of baseless conspiracy theories. Upon reflection these are the values I believe are on the table moving forward.

We should always condemn division, distortion, violence, racism, hatred, bigotry, foreign government intrusion, poor leadership and lack of common sense, infringement of voter's rights, instigators of fear, divisiveness, and harsh policies that affect our nation.

I believe in the 'real' America, in the humbleness of our nation and our people, I believe in loving one another and in the basic principles of democracy.

I believe in our form of government to lead in good spirit and believe that the American people will make this election a historic event never to be forgotten.

And finally, I believe that we are a nation under God indivisible with liberty and JUSTICE FOR ALL!

PHILADELPHIA DA THREATENS TRUMP "I'VE GOT SOMETHING FOR YOU"

Philadelphia's district attorney on Wednesday threatened President Donald Trump if he sent "uncertified" poll watchers to the city, telling him in a statement, "I've got something for you" if any attempts are made to interfere with Election Day activities. In a fiery statement posted on his website, District Attorney Larry Krasner likened Trump to a "lawless, power-hungry despot," and vowed that Philadelphians "will not be cowed."

Krasner said that Trump's administration supposedly poses "the greatest danger to public health and safety in modern history." As proof, he pointed to the more than 227,000 Americans who have died from COVID-19.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said he would not let the president "interfere" with the "will of the people," while characterizing the president as a "bad actor."

"Whoever wins will be respected Trump or Biden" Shapiro said of the state's election results. "We need to drown out the president's rhetoric and ignore the doubt that he is trying to sow about this election and make a plan to vote TODAY, whether you choose to vote by mail, you choose to vote at an election satellite center early, or whether you choose to vote on Election Day."

In his statement, Krasner said that his office is continuing to work with its partners "in law enforcement and government to ensure every voter gets to vote and that every vote is counted," Krasner said "KEEP YOUR PROUD BOYS, goon squads, and uncertified 'poll watchers' out of our city, Mr. President. Break the law here, and I've got something for you."

Krasner alleged that Trump, rather than "working with cities and states to improve accountability and efficacy in policing," is seeking instead to "throw gasoline on a long-burning fire in order to provoke further unrest and violence ahead on an election he is terrified to lose."

FLORIDA GOVERNOR REOPENING STATE'S ECONOMY DESPITE SPREAD

TALLAHASSEE, Fl.--Gov. Ron DeSantis lifted all restrictions on restaurants and other businesses in Florida on Friday in a move to reopen the state's economy despite the spread of the coronavirus.

"We're not closing anything going forward," DeSantis said, while insisting that the state is prepared with plans in place if infections increase again.

The Republican governor's move is sure to stoke debate in a politically crucial state, where the pandemic has become intertwined with the upcoming presidential election. DeSantis is a major ally of President Donald Trump.

DeSantis took the action even as he acknowledged that the pandemic was far from over.

Florida has long been a COVID-19 hotspot, with nearly 700,000 people infected by the virus since the pandemic began in March. Nearly 14,000 Floridians have died.

The closures battered the economy, leaving hundreds of thousands of Floridians unemployed. DeSantis has slowly reopened the state for business since then, allowing restaurants and bars to reopen at half capacity, even as the pandemic continues to spread.

US wildlife officials aim to remove wolf protections by the end of 2020

Traverse City, Mich. (AP)- The Trump Administration plans to lift endangered species protections for gray wolves across most of the nation by the end of the year, the director of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife said Monday.

Shot, trapped and poisoned to near extinction in the last century, wolves in recent decades rebounded in the western Great Lakes region and portions of the West, the total population exceeding 6,000 (not much). They have been removed from the endangered list in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and portions of Oregon, Utah and Washington state. Federal protection remain elsewhere.

The Humane Society of the United States and other wildlife protection groups contend wolves are still vulnerable. Dropping protection across the lower 48 would doom any chances of their spreading to other states where they thrive if humans allowed it.

There's a November ballot initiative that would restore wolves to Colorado. We definitely need a change and this coming November is the only opportunity we have to restore peace and security.

CORONAVIRUS TESTING CENTER IN SOUTH FLORIDA

MIAMI- A new drive-thru COVID-19 testing center is opened in South Florida. Community Health of South Florida has begun testing patients today Wednesday at its Doris Ison Health Center, 10300 SW 216 St.

By the week of March 23rd, the organization expects to have another drive-thru testing site at its Marathon Health Center, 2805 Overseas Hwy, in the Florida Keys. For those people presenting symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath you can use the services and get tested immediately, however for those presenting severe symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath will need to go to the Hospital ER instead.

The testing sites are free to the general public, you can be tested Monday through Friday from 9 am to noon. The sooner you get tested the better the chances of early treatment and survival. The elderly population 70's and 80's should stay home as much as possible unless they are presenting symptoms, in such case they should go to an ER immediately, do not wait to have severe symptoms.

It is illegal to dump dogs like trash in the Redland area in South Florida Homestead. If you see someone dumping, abusing, torturing...you need to call 311 immediately. If you see something say something! Local authorities have a civic duty and responsibility for the welfare of the communities and an important function for the control and protection of the Animals as well as Environmental, it is imperative to revisit, change and enforce Animal Cruelty Law already in place in Miami Dade County. Make laws stricter and stronger, increase penalties and fines instead of slap on the wrist.

This is a serious crime and it needs to stop, our animals deserve more protection from irresponsible people. Our community is requiring protection and accountability.

Constituents voted 65% approving the Pet Trust and Mayor Gimenez along with kill shelter Alex Munoz did nothing about these animals allowing them to die painful deaths in the streets, the Redlands, The Everglades, Naranja rather than overwhelm the shelter and tank their lie of 93%. Alex Munoz needs to send not only their MDAS employees as far south as Homestead but he also needs to go himself, he lies and claims he does, all fake news. Getting salaries and benefits without doing their jobs, not helping the community and not delivering the promised vote from all of us constituents who put Gimenez in office over 5 years ago.

Shame on Gimenez for his incompetence. A new humane management be instilled not with a governmental hack like Munoz but an experienced and responsible Shelter Director.

Enough is Enough! Get your butt moving and fund the Pet Fund Trust not colluding with Munoz to unfund it.

The US is rushing to transfer sensitive nuclear power technology to Saudi Arabia.

Whistleblowers told the Democrat-led House panel it could destabilise the Middle East boosting nuclear weapon proliferation.

President Donald Trump met nuclear power developers at the White House on February 12 to discuss building plants in Middle Eastern nations, including Saudi Arabia.

And Mr. Trump's son-in-law, White House advisor Jared Kushner, will be touring the Middle East this month to discuss the economics of the Trump's administra

tion peace plan.

Critics say giving Saudi Arabia access US nuclear technology would spark a dangerous arms race in the volatile region.

The House report is based on accounts and documents showing communication between Trump administration officials and nuclear power companies.

It states that "within the US, strong private commercial interests have been pressing aggressively for the transfer of highly sensitive nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia".

These commercial entities could "reap billions of dollars through contracts associated with constructing and operating nuclear facilities in Saudi Arabia".

Mr. Trump is reportedly "directly engaged in the effort". As well as Rick Perry, Kushner and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who was found guilty of lying about Russian contacts by special counsel Robert Mueller.

The White House has yet to comment on the report.

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION'S DRILL BABY DRILL

The friction between the United States and China on a range of issues threatens to slow global action on climate change at a critical time.

The emissions produced by both countries account for more than 40 percent of the global total-and those emissions went up this year. That fact is hovering over Katowice, Poland, where the United Nations is leading two weeks of talks on how to implement the Paris Agreement.

In the U.S., the Trump administration is hurriedly clearing the way for oil exploration in the pristine Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, seen above, as part of the administration's campaign to exploit fossil fuels and erase restrictive policies protecting the environment and addressing global warming.

After reviewing the permit application, Peter Nelson, director of federal lands at the advocacy group Defenders of Wildlife, said: "One thing is pretty notable: how many inaccuracies and missing pieces of information there are. It really provides more evidence that industry and the Trump administration are being pretty reckless with this process."

Oil exploration in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge- a vast wilderness in northeastern Alaska those coastal plain is home to polar bears in winter and porcupine caribou and hundreds of migratory bird species in summer-has sparked a fierce debate for four decades. No drilling has been done there since it became a refuge in 1980 and no seismic work has been done since the mid-1980s.

Jenny Keatinge, a senior federal lands policy analyst at Defenders of Wildlife, said in an interview that conducting seismic testing when polar bears have retreated to dens could imperil the federally threatened Southern Beaufort Sea populations, of which there are roughly 900 polar bears left. She noted that 77 percent of the coastal plain is designated as critical habitat for polar bears.

Given the effects of climate change, "those bears are using the coastal plain more and more, " Keatinge said.

Keatinge questioned why the firm's proposal did not include detailed maps of areas to be excluded from testing, or how it would address the harm that could stem from the disturbance that could result from the operation. Some caribou winter on the plain, and additional caribou come in during the spring, she said, when the seismic exploration may still be underway.

"They don't identify sensitive wetland areas or sensitive wildlife areas," she said of the firm, adding that when it comes to the prospect of federal approval, "we are ready to fight any attempt by the administration to shortcut any protection for the coastal plain and the people and wildlife it supports."

Now we know why President Trump continuously says that "climate change is a hoax" and truly this is due to the influence from these oil companies pumping money into his own pipeline as well as many of his dirty businesses he owns and manages....big money in his dirty pocket!

This all time musical tells the story of many immigrants in exile today who flew the Castro regime including many well-known artists and musicians who felt they no longer had a life of their own in their country of origin under the dictator's regime.

This is a must see all musical revue with great music, amazing talented actors and a terrific choreography with lots of glamour and nostalgic sentiment. This high -energy new musical captures the pain of the Cuban exiles of the 50's, 60's and 70's and the continuous fight against Castro's repressive and communist revolution.
