The year is running by so fast! In May I hosted the first JOSHUA TREE GUITAR NIGHT featuring Nick Milo (Joe Cocker, Tower of Power) and more Guitar Nights are planned in the Hi Desert. I have a number of special guests lined up, I will keep you updated about future events!

Both of my local residences continue this Summer – Every Thursday night at the Yucca Valley golf club with the Roost Trio and monthly at the fabulous 29 Plams Inn, playing 3 sets of Solo Guitar every second Friday.

I hope you’re enjoying the season and remember to go and see lots of live music! 🙂

]]> The first JOSHUA TREE GUITAR NIGHT was a great success, I combined my local trio with keyboard legend Nick Milo (Tower Of Power, Joe Cocker) who enjoys the Hi Desert vibes and put on a great show with us.

More Guitar Nights will come shortly, and although I’m not announcing anything yet I can tell you I have some amazing guitar players, bassists and other musicians lined up. I am exploring locations in the Hi Desert and I’m looking forward to get back to y’all with more great news about this soon.

Happy 4th of July friends and music lovers! I just released two brand new tunes packaged in a mini-album “The Rebirth of the Summer Snow”! The music is inspired by the books and the true story of chinese-american artist and writer Jossda.

The first tune, Summer Snow, features Stu Hamm on bass. Stu is one of my all time bass guitar heroes and has recorded and toured extensively with Steve Vai and Joe Satriani.

The second tune, Talisman, is deep and mystical, capturing the vibe of Asia and Jossda’s moving and emotional story. It features driving acoustic guitars and a haunting melody.

]]> Montana Drone Video

New Video! I was stoked when I was asked to compose the soundtrack to this cool drone video. I used the ’66 Strat in a stereo setup. Big sound!

I recorded my 1966 Fender Stratocaster in stereo with a TC electronics Flashback delay, Fender Super Reverb (w amp reverb ON) one side, and an Electrosonic “Solaris” (boutique Fender style amp) with a 2×12 cabinet other side, no reverb. Second guitar is same setup but added a Prince of Tone for distortion and played with an ebow. The solo guitar is the same as ebow setup but then played with pick. In the mix I added a little bit of compression – that’s it! Enjoy!

]]> My first full length album Double Take was very well received throughout the year of 2016. I was very happy to see a whole lot of excellent reviews in national and international guitar and music magazines, including Vintage Guitar Magazine and Modern Drummer Magazine.

This year my band played a series of really fun shows in the Los Angeles area, and through the summer I played a weekly jazz show at the local golf club. I am looking forward to playing more shows in 2017, writing more music and releasing more material.
