Harry Redknapp has been the favourite to be his successor for a long time, and today he was cleared of tax evasion, and today Capello resigns, is this all a coincidence?

Capello was talking to Italian media about the John Terry situation, and did not agree with the FA’s decision to strip him of the captains armband.

The position was untenable really, the FA should not be choosing the captain, that should be the managers job, but then the manager should not speak out over the FA. I feel the FA were wrong, (nothing new there then), they undermined Capello, the FA picks the captain, they might as well pick the squad and team too…Why even have a manager?!  The two parties always seemed distant, and now they are.

So what happens with England now? No Captain, no manager.

First of all I have got this Patron XO Cafe. I first saw this being used at an Evisu event, and I was intrigued by exactly what it was, I thought Patron only did the usual tequilas, then discovered that it was a coffee liqueur. I am not a huge fan of liqueurs, but it seems a bit different, and I have heard it tastes really nice with vanilla ice cream, so I am going to try that out

It came in a presentation box with some really cool shot glasses, a must for tequila really

I love the bottle, really chunky and good to grip, really can’t wait to try it!

My new drink of choice is Absolut Vanilla, it isnt the easiest thing to get, so I bought 2 bottles of it I tried to get some from a local shop the other day who did not have it, so instead of running out I got myself 2 bottles I love it with Diet Coke, whenever I go out in Newcastle I usually ask for this these days; I sort of prefer it to vodka and Red Bull…Well maybe not, but at least I can get a proper nights sleep and not be dying the next day

And for my “singles valentines night” I got myself some champagne! I took a long time deciding what to get, I was gonna go with Krug, then maybe Dom Perignon, but I decided to just go for the 2002 Moet in a presentation box. I have already had this before, in fact blogged about it, I got it in 2010 for the World Cup/my birthday, and it was nice, so I got another bottle

I will drink the champagne next week, 14th February of course Or maybe I should move it to this weekend, since I will have work the day after on the 15th??? ….hmmm?

How has your Tuesday been so far? Mine has been great, fairly productive, fun, and I got a few things I wanted, so all is good

So first of all, here is what I wore today.

This is the first time I have worn both the cardigan and t-shirt, I actually got this tee in the sales, so I have had it almost 2 months, and have only worn it today In fact I have 5 or 6 t-shirts I am yet to wear, as well as a few jumpers and shirts haha! (Closeup pic below).

Yesterday I wrote about Yaktrax Pro, which are things to put on your shoes/trainers for when it is icy, and it will stop you from slipping…Well I got a pair! I heard the sizing was really big, so I got a medium, which fit on my Converse size 9 trainers perfectly; I imagine they will fit on my Nike Air Max size 11 too.

I hope they work well outdoors, I tried them on inside on the floor and they did not seem very stable!

I also got alcohol for my “Singles Valentines Day” next week, woohoo I will put that in another post later, but I got Moet 2002 champagne which I also had in 2010 for my birthday, I got 2x bottles of Absolut Vanilla which I LOVE! and something new for me, Patrón XO Cafe, which is a coffee liqueur, more about that later

For the rest of the day I have worked, although I did have an hours break and went to play snooker…I used to go and play/practice snooker all the time years and years ago, when I was 14-18 I probably used to play once a week at least, I think I will start to get back into it, its a peaceful thing!

It seems like just yesterday I was writing a Monday post! Today I had a busy day with work and everything, and it is so fucking icy outside it is unreal! It look me a good few minutes just to dare to walk onto the ice! It was literally like an ice rink, I was trying to walk across on a hill, but sliding downwards as well as moving across!

Today I have ordered a few things for my ‘singles valentines day’ for next week, can’t wait to get them! I will blog about them tomorrow.

My Converse trainers were definitely NOT made for snow or ice, they slide all over, and I had no grip at all.

Has anyone tried these…They are for your trainers and give you more grip (supposedly). Maybe it is worth getting a pair.

This pair is called the Yaktrax pro, and are apparently good if you believe the Amazon reviews they have. They are around £10-20. Anyone tried them?

A light dusting of snow on the ground, hopefully that will be all. It could be worse, the further North or East you go in Europe is far, far worse, most are having their coldest winters ever, so it could be worse, there are colder places than Newcastle!
