Now that I have moved into Ludlow I will setting up a small studio in the house for some portrait work.

We have set up a gallery in the Shop where you can now purchase a photo package for a forthcoming event. We are offering some incredible deals for you by doing it this way.

Here is how it works.

Go to the Shop and look for an Advance Booking Gallery with the next event name on it. At the moment there are three options available for purchase and all will save you money compared to the On-Site prices, which in turn are also saving on regular post-event prices. The gallery will close the night before the event so purchases must be made by then. Print off your completed receipt and bring it with you to the event, we check it against our records and you take home your prints/DVD etc.

What happens if you don’t like the pictures, you didn’t make it to the event or you simply change your mind. Well, for whatever reason you decide you don’t want the package, we will refund your money in full. So what have you got to lose. The only condition is that you change your mind before we start printing your chosen package, and we don’t start that till you are in the tent telling us which images to print.

Remember to hurry though as this offer closes at midnight on Saturday 21st April.

We are changing the way our mailing lists are handled to conform with current regulations and to fully automate it which will save any human admin errors in future. At the moment we are sending out an email to everybody on the old lists with instructions on what to do. Yesterday I was covering Nottingham Football Association Match Final for girls. It was a great day for it and the twelve teams all had a great time. Images for this are not on my website as I was standing in for Trafford Photography so you will find them here

Last weekend I went with a student of mine to Snowdonia to do some landscape photography and give hime some time to learn and get to grips with a few things. We parked at Ogwen Cottage and walked up to the shores of Llyn Idwal which sits at the bottom of The Devil’s Kitchen and is surrounded by the steep slopes and cliffs that rise to Y Garn and Glydder Fawr. It was a dull day with low cloud cover but we could see that on the higher reaches the waterfalls were all frozen solid, whilst round the lake there was no snow and it was really quite mild.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

This first picture was taken on the foot bridge that crosses the brook about 100 yards from the car park at the start of the walk up to Llyn Idwal.

Just as I was about to take this picture, a hiker walked into the scene. I waited till he was wholly visible and then took the picture.

The last picture here is taken at the far end of Llyn Idwal, before the climb up the Devil’s Kitchen, looking back across the lake to Pen yr Ole Wen in the clouds.
