I am the process of getting a restock of my original Necro Monkey pin as well as five new variants. This is something I have wanted to do for a few years, but COVID had caused an inflation in the cost.

Once I have the pins in hand, I am going to do a giveaway after I hit a certain number of followers and/or subscribers. I will pick a random person. If they are a follower, they get a set of the five new pins. If they are a subscriber, they will get one of everything pin I have. I will post on that later here as well as on my social media accounts.

101 Word Stories and More

I am really enjoying the fun and challenge of writing very short pieces that are 101 words. It is harder than you would think. Many time I sit at 99, 100, or even 102 words and must find creative ways to redo a sentence or two to get the golden 101 words.

For the fun of it I am thinking of giving longer pieces a shot like 666 (because why not that number) word stories. Maybe write 666 of them. If I had hair, I could see myself pulling it out trying to do that, but you never know.

I am also going to take some of those 101 word stories and make prints from them. A cool 11×17 art print based off a story with the story text as part of the print. I just need to dust off my old Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge and learn some more Procreate.

What does that mean for you? I will still post at least one story a month for my followers with one or more a month for subscribers. Subscribers will also get work in progress posts when I start working on the prints.

The Drunk

The freezing, snow-filled wind cut to the bone while he drunkenly stumbled his way across the field from the bar to his dorm. It was too hard to see and it felt like everything was spinning. That is when he tripped and fell into the snow.

He wanted to take a minute to rest. For the world to stop spinning. He curled up in the snow and closed his eyes. Just for a minute, he thought as the snow started to cover him. Just a minute and he would be good to go.

There he would remain until the spring thaw.

WIP Update

I have started creating some new images for my Creature Cutes. I recently finished a vampire and have three more in the works. The first is Frankenstein’s Monster. Then there is a take on my childhood hero, Kikaida. Last is the mighty Cthulhu. I am hoping to do more cons this coming year and want to have more prints available.

Digital art isn’t the only thing I have been working on. I have been slowly writing 101 word stories to meet the goal of 101 stories. I will then put them together into a book. I am hoping have it all done before summer and have it for sale at WA Summercon.

Membership Price Change

EDIT: After some research and discussion with Patreon, the tier will be $5 a month, but I am adding to its benefits.

At the end of October, I will be increasing the price of the $1 tier to $5. I am adding some new benefits to the tier like a yearly gift. For those who do not wish to continue supporting at that tier, I understand.

Tattoo Master

He admired the skill of the tattoo as he meticulously inspected every inch of the inked skin. The

composition of the piece and the way it flowed with the body had already impressed him. Perfectly

pulled lines and solid color saturation.

“This is a solid tattoo. You may just,” he started to say but stop when he saw it. The one

imperfection. A blown-out line. “No!”

Grabbing a knife, he stabbed it over and over into the human canvas, destroying the tattooed flesh,

before turned his attention and blade to the tattoo artist.

“Sorry, but you are not a tattoo master.”
