There will be a cookout for residents and guests starting at 6 p.m. at the pool deck of MidCity on July 4th. Soft drinks and burgers will be provided.

To ensure that everyone enjoys the holiday, please note and abide by the following pool rules. Smoking is permitted in designated areas; please refrain from smoking on the pool deck or in the pool. Pets are not allowed in Sky or in the pool area. Glass containers should not be brought to the pool area. Please be cognizant of other guests and play music at a respectable level.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday evening!

Parking Garage at Centergy Building Update

As a response to phone calls for information about the collapse of the parking garage for Centergy, please note that as of this time no injuries have been reported. Please be aware that there are street closings south of 10th on Spring Street. West Peachtree is open. In order to access the building, please use the Biltmore gates.

Mark Williams, MidCity Lofts’ interior designer will be be previewing the upcoming renovations for SKY and the pool deck.

Hanna Smith from Ed Castro Landscaping will also be there to talk about all of the planting going on.

It’s a perfect opportunity for you to meet with the Board of Directors and see all of the exciting plans we have to improve our home.

WaterHaven restaurant and Community One management will be hosting a happy hour for MidCity Lofts residents, Tuesday June 30th from six to eight in the evening.

Complementary hors d’oeuvres will be served, and there will be specials on drinks.

Design Committee Meeting June 17th

Mark will be presenting the updated renovation plan and comprehensive numbers, including an explanation of where certain ideas were pared down to stay under budget. Recycle your glass!

Did you know that MidCity Lofts recycles glass?

We do. Just put you glass in the recycling bins marked for plastic and aluminum. Conex, our recycling company, will take it from there.

All MidCity Lofts residents are encouraged to recycle their glass items instead of simply throwing them away. Glass thrown into the trash chutes ends up cutting the bags, harming the compactors, and adding additional weight to the bins.

Recycling your glass, on the other hand, is good for the building and good for the environment as well!

Notice: Controlled Gas Purge for Thursday Morning (May 28)

According to Atlanta Gas Light, there will be a controlled release of natural gas to purge a 6″ pipeline on Thursday morning (before many businesses will open) at 7am at the intersection of Piedmont Ave. and 10th Street. This is part of the ongoing pipeline replacement project by AGL in that area.
