Midway Elementary Teacher Appreciation

We are taking part of teacher appreciation week at Midway Elementary. We will be giving each teacher a craft made by the kids at Art Camp and a snack. Please sign the poster in the narthex that will be given to them on Wednesday.

Prayer Meeting Tonight

There will be a prayer meeting tonight at 6 p.m., in the room right next to the Pastor’s Study. All are welcome.

Summer Worship

Starting on Sunday, May 27th, we will begin the Summer Worship Schedule. Our worship service will start at 10:00 a.m. We will still have Children’s Church, but there will be no Christian Formation Classes during the summer.

North Pacific Conference Covenant Men / Alaska Mission Work Trip

Covenant Men are planning a June 9-16, 2012 mission work trip to Alaska Christian College (ACC). We will be helping with re-roofing the administration building and other projects. Midway/Ministerio Potluck

Mark your calendars for the combined spring Midway/Ministerio potluck dinner, Saturday, May 5th, at 6 p.m. Midway is hosting this time – helpers needed for set-up, kitchen duties, and clean-up. Would you consider joining together with others some Sunday mornings for intercessory prayer for the outreach ministries of congregation? With the challenges and exciting opportunities we have before us, including the new Art Camp partnership with Midway Elementary, I am sensing the ‘burden’ for us to more aggressively intercede for these efforts.   We are going to start this step of faith on Sunday, April 15th at 9:30 am in the MCCC Library.  The initial plan is to try this for two weeks, reassess, and then decide the next steps.  Please prayerfully consider if this may be your calling this spring and talk to me about it in the next two weeks. Cascades Camp

A Covenant Men’s Spring Work Day has been scheduled.  The date is Saturday April 14. Rolf Hammersborg, 253-230-7118, are....@gmail.com is leading the CM work party and coordinating it with Rob at Cascades. Accommodations can be made for overnight at Cascades in order to get in a full days work.  Between 5 and a maximum of 20 men are needed.

Wheel Chair Seating

We have an area in the front, on the right hand side, of the sanctuary that has space for those in wheel chairs.

There will be a work party here at our church Saturday, March 31st, from 9:00 a.m. to noon instead of the first weekend of next month. Let’s get a big crew together to get the church ready for Easter!

Lent & Holy Week at MCCC

There will be no Christian Formation or Junior Church on Easter Sunday.

Celebration of Baptism

We will celebrate baptisms during the Sunday Easter Service on April 8th. If you are interested in being baptized, contact Pastor David.

Fellowship Dinners
