Lag noen glass med eplechutney til oppbevaring utover høsten og vinteren. Eplechutney er et fast og godt følge f.eks. til vilt.

Pektininnholdet er det som gjør at gelèen stivner - dette innholdet vil avta ettersom bærene blir mer modne. Bærene må være av beste kvalitet, ellers kan det oppstå muggdannelser når gelèen lagres.

 Ja dette er verdt et blogginnlegg!!  Jeg og 4 venninner har en mat-og-vin-klubb, her er målet å lage nye retter vi ikke har smakt før med dertil godt egnet drikke. Vi møtes ca 5 ganger i året, og vi lager maten sammen. Dette begynte vi med for snart 10 år siden. For første gang hadde vi denne gangen med våre bedre halvdeler, det var utrolig hyggelig!
