Actually it started before Barrack Obama became President. Democrats have been playing their favorite party game of “masochism”! We had a majority in the House of Representatives and Nancy Pelosi did not use her constitutional mandate to end the financing of the Iraq War. This allowed Republicans to see that most Democrats don’t have the testosterone to stand up to Republicans!

When you required only a simple majority in the House to stop the unfunded vast wild eyed Republican Social Engineering Experiment in Iraq under Bush and you don’t do it in that environment, then what chance do you stand now in the Senate? In the House they cannot filibuster while in the Senate Republicans can filibuster! One word can sum it all up, “impotence”! When Wall Street gets away with murder and we Democrats don’t stand up to them then you have to ask, “Is that the change we voted for”?

Below is my Top Ten List why we liberals are loosing and what to do about it!

Failure to stop the Iraqi War funding under Bush! Democrats as evidenced by Nancy Pelosi don’t have the guts to play “Chicken” and run head on into the Republicans. Oh dear that would be considered unpatriotic to subjugate our nation to this in a time of crises! Really when are we not in a crises!

President Obama said in the primary fight that he does not want to continue the same old college dorm discussions of the past. He likened all the candidates to college students in the 60’s while he was to young and hence different. Barrack Obama said it is time to bring politics out of the 60’s dorm discussions of the past. Well President Obama look around you! This is not “Silly Season” in politics! If you were in those college dorm discussions of the hippie era you would understand that being forceful with Republicans is essential! This is not “Silly Season” but impotence season! Further it is the betrayal of the mandate that put you in office. President Obama you must learn the lessons of history. Republicans laugh at weakness! They make Americans then laugh at liberals. They did that to George McGovern. During the Vietnam War they wrapped themselves in the American flag. They are calling our President a foreigner and a communist. That is when they are not calling him a nazi and a Muslim. This is not “Silly Season” Mr. President! This is a replay of the 60’s when us older hippies learned how Republicans wage “psychological warfare”. Learn that lesson well Mr. President! You will in November!

Joe Liebermann should have been thrown out of the Democratic Caucus right from the start! By doing so we would be signaling that we are not pursuing a super-majority strategy! We appear liberals then appear weak and the Blue Dogs get brave! Liebermann is constantly with Republicans and campaigned against Obama! Senator Liebermann has even stated he does not know what he would do if the Republicans took control of the Senate! Throw the bum out! Show some guts!

Not calling for Republicans to formally filibuster! Because of that the majority of Fox News Informational Challenged Individuals seem to believe the hold up is because Obama cannot get all the Democrats on board! Wrong we don’t need them! We just need to vote as in the past!

The Louisiana Purchase and Corn Husker Compromise! This is an extension of the Liebermann problem! Look at the costs and benefits! Many voters in Massachusetts stated that was a key reason they voted Republican. Senator Ben Nelson who was so against “Socialism” wanted full federal funding for Medicare! Meanwhile those in Massachusetts, who already have health care, don’t see why they should fund Nebraska’s Corn Husker Payoff! This was indeed paying for votes. I don’t care if it has been done before. We voted for Obama to end that!

It’s The Economy Studpid! Job losses are at an all time high. Yes it does take time for the stimulus to act. But we gave AIG via TARP somewhere around 180 billion! That seems to be the only “shovel ready” item the public sees. But then again the amount we are devoting to infrastructure is much smaller. Republicans are playing themselves as the champions of Main Street while labeling Democrats the champions of Wall Street.

Failure To Play The CLASS Card! Oh dear now did I say something bad here! We see the Republicans playing American against American yet when are we going to face the real issue! If you are Middle Class and have self respect then you must demand some type of remediation when someone is earning millions per year! What contribution are they making to society? They are so much smarter than me. After all they have to decide to which foreign country to ship our blue collar AND white collar jobs! We cannot get involved in the details of compensation but we can have a robust Eisenhower era 90% Progressive Income Tax! Yet these folks get away with calling Obama an elitist! The Progressive Income Tax is just Reality’s way of saying “hello” and that we care! By focusing on extreme compensation differences we would give the unemployed, and those who fear losing their jobs, a means to vent their energy at Republicans instead of us while the stimulus moves through the economy. But make no mistake about it! The money we spent has been lopsided!

Playing right into Republican strategy! Sorry to tell you this folks but the majority of Americans don’t give a krap that 30 – 45 Million Americans lack health care! They do care that they might become one of them or that the care they have will rise through the ceiling! Americans are scared right now with job losses at record highs! Republicans are playing the “have” vs the “have nots”! Democrats are falling right into the trap! We need to also focus on how the average American will benefit from Universal Health Care and that includes a strong Public Option! If the cost of getting insurance for those without insurance is the loss of the Public Option then we will see our insurance premiums rise! If the system keeps going on as it is then premiums are expected to rise. Without a Health Care Reform the Republicans will take the blame. If we pass a weak one then we will take the blame!

Clinton’s Impeachment Went Unanswered! America stood by while the Republicans had a field day of self righteousness concerning the sins of Bill Clinton! Yes I realize Bill Clinton lied. But then so did Bush and the result was thousands of American lives lost in Iraq and the threat of Al Qaeda went unanswered in Afghanistan and Pakistan! Opium in Afghanistan is at record levels funding the enemies of America who are next door in a nuclear armed Pakistan that has scientists who support Al Qaeda. But did Democrats try to impeach Bush? Oh dear we wouldn’t want to do that! This is the reason we are being blocked right now with over 100 bills being filibustered! The Republicans know they can act without consequences!

Democrats adopt the mantra of “MEOW”! We have already seen from the top of the list that Democrats will not stand up for liberal values! They are too timid! Imagine now that we have a Republican President who has a bare bones majority in both Houses of Congress! Do you think he would be as weak as Obama? The Republican’s behavior now is predicated on the premise that there will be little or no consequences to their behavior in the future. Unfortunately they are correct! They do not fear a reign of Democratic Party filibusters as they know Democrats will just sit and meditate on their navels while chanting their pathetic castrati mantra of “MEOW… MEOW…. MEOW”! Oh yes then they will whine that this is just the “silly season in politics”! Meanwhile they will tax those in the Middle Class who have decent health care plans!

The time has come to stop jobs from being shipped overseas and to raise the progressive income tax! You would think that these executives actually earned their money the way some folks wail for them! Instead of a “tax calendar” where Americans learn how many days into the new year they have to work before their pay is their own rather than tax I have a new proposal! Every company should publish a calendar for each employee telling them how many days into the new year they will have to work before their salary equals just one day of the executives! Many will work past into future years! We need capitalist incentives to motivate innovation. But innovating by moving American jobs, technology and wealth to foreign lands, frequently the enemies of America, is not the “innovation” I believe the Silent Majority of Americans have in mind!

We liberals and progressives have had enough of this pathetic lack of attack by Democrats! I want UNIVERSAL SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE. The public option was a compromise! I prefer to let the Republicans filibuster till hell freezes over if we don’t get a strong Public Option. Else the costs of health care insurance, which are forecast to rise, will be blamed on Democrats!

When I hear Republicans talk about “freedom” I need to take a Rolaids because my stomach turns acidic. Tim Palenty used this terminology at a recent meeting of the conservative group CPAC! Actually this is classic Republican rhetoric! The “Freedom” that they so prize is not freedom for the American Middle Class!

In this era where corporations are defined as “persons” I find my personal freedom under further attack! Just this year we have the record recalls of Toyota cars for multiple reasons. Also the diabetes drug “Avandia” has been labeled by many as the cause of heart problems! CBS News says that the company that makes Avandia, “Glaxo Smith Kline” knew about the danger for years!

With the recent Supreme Court ruling now in place, Glaxo could finance a lobbying campaign underwritten by the sale of Avandia. Under Bush the regulatory powers of the Federal Government to investigate were under financed. We would not want to fuel bureaucracy now would we? Perhaps we should just follow Ayn Rand’s free market ideology! When enough people die from bad cars and prescription drugs then the market will adjust itself!

These same people will lecture us on death panels! They also applaud the recent Supreme Court ruling defining “corporations” as “persons” who are “entitled” to spend the money they collect from middle class Americans to advance their agenda! These elitists will cut Social Security and Medicare “entitlements” but levy “taxation without representation” via our purchase of corporate goods and services! With this mechanism they can dip their corporate hands into our wallets to finance their K Street Agendas!

Why should these elitists be allowed to engage in “Taxation Without Representation? Because in their grandiose view they are the “producers” not middle class Americans. They are “entitled”!

Just look at the results of their “entitlements”.

Every time I fill my car at the gas station this Democrat could be financing big oil ads for Republicans!

Every time I pay health insurance I could be financing the K – Street lobbying of the Health Insurance Cartel.

Every time we make a credit card payment, frequently at usury level rates, we are being taxed without representation to support the agenda of the big banks! But this is their “entitlement”!

The Republicans have a name for this!

They call it “FREEDOM”! To oppose this so called freedom is to be labeled a “Socialist”! Please understand that I am a west European style Social Democrat. Being that I am a Middle Class American and have self respect, I start to question what someone is “contributing” to society when they make more than five times my yearly income. When it goes into millions per year and I don’t see a cure for cancer, heart disease or aids then I want a strong progressive income tax to bring reality to the situation. But then again that is just me as I am a Middle Class American who has self respect!

Apparently many middle class Americans seem to lack self respect. You will notice in the above paragraph I used the term “contribution” to society! When I graduated college nothing irritated me more than to have to be subjected to employment interviews where I was to “role play” a serf desiring to pledge his loyalty and subject my individuality to the “Corporate Collective”. There were a multitude of books on how to perform during the “employment interview”! I was to use key phases like making a “contribution” to the corporation.

Don’t misconstrue what I am saying. A prospective employee should try to be a team member and give value and loyal work to his employer! But what irritated me then and still does now is when I hear Republicans talk about “Freedom”!

Middle Class Americans are to subject their freedom to the corporate collectivists and act as if our only desire is to “contribute” while our lords in the Corporate Collective are free to fire us at will, move overseas or import technical workers to undermine programming jobs. Why don’t we want to subject our corporations to the concept of “responsibly” as in western Europe where employees have more contractual rights! In job interviews we were not supposed to talk about our needs only how can we serve the Corporate Collective!

In this era of licentious permissiveness we see these “persons” called corporations shipping our jobs, wealth and technology overseas to serve their perverted sense of “entitlement” yet we in the middle class are to are to lower our expectations in terms of health care, social security and the social net in order to lower the tax rate of our social betters! Furthermore they frequently ship our society’s assets to the enemies of America!

The time has come for the Silent Majority – our great Middle Class to say enough to these effete snobs of privilege with their grandiose sense of “entitlements”! We need to repeal not just the Bush Tax Cuts but the Reagan Tax Cuts as well!

I heard a segment of Senator Judd Gregg’s interview on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell show. He laid out some plans to punish people who are overweight and engage in unhealthy behaviors in terms of health insurance costs. I guess he would support the removal of Trans-fatty acids in fast foods!

After all when hard pressed and overworked middle class Americans have to grab a fast meal while working shouldn’t they have “Freedom” from trans-fatty acids? What about freedom from nicotine addiction to cancer producing cigarettes?

Yet Senator Gregg’s Party and some Democrats want to subsidize the addiction of Middle Class Americans while he and his fellow travelers whine about the “transfer of wealth”! This is the typical Republican tactic of setting middle class Americans against each other. He said he wants to put “politics aside”.

Well here is an idea Senator Gregg!

How about not only stopping tobacco subsidiaries but also outlawing tobacco production all together! Yet these same folks will block the medical use of marijuana! Oh but then a lot of members of Congress wouldn’t get their cancer stick payoffs! Below we see Republican Congress Minority Leader John Boehner talking his way out of an embarrassing situation. He was giving out checks from the Tobacco lobby while on the House floor! (See Video below).

Well now Senator Gregg how can you stand by while these corporations profit from making Americans into nicotine addicts and subjecting them to cancer? Dear reader do you realize that now under the recent Supreme Court’s decision I can be charged with attempted murder? That’s right my friends because now corporations are persons! I am advocating killing “persons” and my sin stands right before you in print on your web browser screen!

So Senator Gregg are you and your fellow travelers in the Republican Party going to have me arrested for advocating the murder of “persons”! How many more Americans will die of lung cancer while you and your fellow travelers whine about “Death Panels” yet continue to finance these corporations addicting Middle Class Americans to cancer sticks?

As I have said before on this blog:

Restricting Government regulation does not translate into a rise in “Individual Freedom”. When the referee is removed from the game of life the BULLY fills the vacuum! Corporations can be bullies! Worse yet we are changing from a system of one person = one vote to a system whereby one dollar = one vote!

The above video was before the recent Supreme Court decision!

Make no mistake about it these people place their class interests over their interests as Americans! Just look at how our jobs, wealth produced from this society and technology have been shipped out of America! Often to the enemies of America! This results in a loss of Individual Freedom for Middle Class Americans! They tear down the American Flag from their ships to hoist the flags of third world nations all in their pursuit of profits and the transfer of wealth away from the American Middle Class! When will this era of licentious permissiveness come to an end! Where is the respect and responsibility to the nation that gave these people their birth, protection, education and yes profits? When will they stop their singing of the “Corporate Collectivist Globalization Internationale”!

We cannot allow this to continue. President Obama, this is not the hope and change that we can believe it! The Silent Majority must stand up and take our nation back from these effete snobs of privilege!

I did find some of Senator Greggs statment concerning the stimulus bill to be interesting. I agree that it was not targeted enough. I disagree that we need to return to the policies of Bush that gave us this crisis!

First a question for Republicans! How is all that Corporate Free Marketie de-regulation thingy working out for ya! Huh? (Wink).

When will Americans ever learn that a decrease in Government Regulation does not translate into an increase in individual freedom! Instead a vacuum is created for the bully to take away the freedom of individual Americans! Just look at the recent insurance increases in California!

We need more regulation and a strong public option! Yet the bleeding hearts in the Republican Party would make you believe that the freedom of the corporation is the freedom of the individual! Now hard working Americans will have to pay more of their income and reduce their leisure time to serve the deep pockets and extended leisure of our social betters! This is not freedom!

Just look at how the effete snobs of privilege are taking away Individual Freedom from the Silent Majority – our great Middle Class!

They whine that corporations are people and should be able to tax me every time I fill up my car with gas to support the political agenda of Big Oil!

They have no problem taxing me when I pay my insurance premiums to finance the political agenda of my social betters who own the insurance company! (We would not want their stock holders to stick their hands into their deep pockets to finance their K – Street Agenda).

They send our jobs, capital and technology overseas, frequently to the enemies of America, while they make a profit and the nation that spawned these parasites suffers from their profit! The Republicans have a name for this! They call it “Freedom”. They use a sophistry of lexicon to conceal their agenda! That agenda being the transfer of wealth from the producers, our great Middle Class, to the few at the top!

Sarah Palin and her fellow travelers lie to the American people accusing Democrats of wanting to establish “Death Panels”! They actually called Obama an “elitist”. Rather than face their own psychological defense mechanisms of “reaction formation” and “projection”! They refuse to own the fact that it is they who are the elitists! Look at this mob of fools who follow them called the “Tea Party Movement”! We need a liberal version of the Tea Party Movement. When a corporation can tax me against my will to support their corporatist agenda that constitutes “Taxation without representation”! Why don’t the Tea Party folks see that?

When are Democrats going to get some testosterone and go on the attack? We need to be as aggressive as Spiro Agnew was for the Republicans. He would attack the news media for being pro-liberal. Well I say we should attack the news media for being far too pro-conservative! I am not simply talking about Fox News. Why did the News Media let Bush get away with leading our troops into war and being against Gays serving in the military when Gays were doing something that George Bush did not want to do! That is to finish his mandatory military obligation! The news media barely touched the issue of Sarah Palin and the Alaskan Independence Party!

What is the Democratic Party reply to the media not pursuing these stories? One word, “MEOW”! Now with health care and other reforms this word has become the pathetic mantra of these castrati Democrats, “MEOW…MEOW”! To be fair to the news media, I guess they did not want to stick their necks out since the only sound that came from Democrats was the pathetic wimpy whine of “MEOW….MEOW”!

The health insurance rate increase in California by Anthem’s Blue Cross should be a lesson to those who believe that to decrease the power of Government Regulation means to increase Individual Freedom! No it means power to the bully! This is the new Republican America! Power to the Corporate Collective! We live to serve our social betters! Our jobs, our health, our lives are mere pawns to the Corporate Collectivists! Time to stand up for America and declare corporations are not people! Time to take our jobs back from being shipped overseas both blue collar and white collar jobs. Many don’t understand that it is not just blue collar jobs but computer programming jobs and soon other white collar jobs will be shipped overseas! All the while we are told that it is our fault. That we are to compete with slave labor while these effete snobs of privilege transfer our dreams to themselves!

We are to be compensated for our work and labor (both blue collar and white collar) by competing with slave labor while our social betters are to be compensated for their leisure time investing with maximum profits! Yes this is “Individual Freedom” Republican Style.

Imagine if we Democrats had used the pompous language of “watering the tree of liberty with blood” as Michele Bachmann and her other Tea Party nuts had done! The Silent Majority has had enough!

My advice to Obama is the opposite of what Sarah Palin said at the Tea Party convention! I have had enough of Obama trying to get the Republicans to come on board. We won they lost – REMEMBER! I am sick of letting Joe Liebermann and his fellow travelers, the blue dog Democrats destroy the mandate of the American people! President Obama has fallen right into the Republican trap. They knew it would work even before he took office. How is that?

Well we had majorities in both houses of Congress. Did we use our power to de-fund the Iraq War or start impeachment proceedings against George Bush? No all you heard from Democrats was their pathetic mantra of “MEOW”! Because we have a proven track record of not being willing to cross the line in the sand made by Republicans while Bush was President and stopping the war or even impeaching him, they know they can win. Make no mistake they are winning because Americans want “action figures”! The ad below from the Democratic Party is a good start but not enough.

The Republicans have changed the rules of engagement so that you need a super-majority rather than a majority in the Senate! But it takes two to tango and Democrats are such pathetic losers, they have not played chicken with the Republicans by calling them on a filibuster.

President Barrack Obama has failed those of us who elected him because:

The stimulus package had just a pittance for Infrastructure and Green Technology Jobs. AIG got far more.

Instead of providing cover for members of Congress by lambasting the Republicans and their idiotic “Death Panel” scare tactics, President Obama joined the Democrats in Congress with their new meditation mantra, “MEOW….MEOW”. He could have started a “stop the corporate greed campaign”! Oh no we wouldn’t want to do that! We might generate some bad karma! Pass the Tofu please!

We never had a super majority! We had Joe Liebermann plus some other losers. Face reality and proceed from there. Instead of trying to get the Blue Dog votes we should have appealed to the Silent Majority with an anti-corporatist and anti-globalization campaign. We should have framed the issue as “Individual Freedom vs. subservience to the Corporate Collective! No instead with masochistic fervor we engaged in the “Louisiana Purchase” and the “Corn Husker Compromise” with Blue Dog Democrats! We destroyed our creditability with the American people. Oh yes and the Democrat Congressional Response as we drifted down in the polls from Republican fear mongering! – “MEOW….MEOW……MEOW”!

Yes it takes time to provide jobs. But maybe a more intense economic stimulus should have been applied while we had the creditability! Regardless Republicans were able to sell the American people that we didn’t care about jobs. They became the champions of Main Street painting us as friends of Wall Street. If we had gone on a class warfare campaign things would be different. They are waging Class Warfare against the middle class. So why shouldn’t we counter attack? Oh dear that’s too harsh. Let’s sing “Kumbaya” with the Republicans! Sure right! Tea anyone?

Barrack Obama did not want to “point the finger”! Well now Mr. President the Republicans have given you the finger! If you do not forcefully and continually attack these Republicans for painting you as a Kenyan then what the hell do you expect? Americans hate weaklings! They want “Change” – get it! Hell you ran on it! This is not “silly season” in Washington Mr. President it is the destruction of the Democratic Party mandate! Let’s point the finger and constantly! – All I hear from Democrats is “MEOW”. I am sick of it!

The time has come to put the real underlying issue in front of the American people. That issue is “Are we a nation of one person – one vote”! Or “Are we a nation of one dollar one vote”!

Why shouldn’t we raise the progressive income tax? My God you would think that these people actually earned millions per year! Sure we want to have incentives for people to innovate! But the progressive income tax is just reality paying a visit to those who think that they actually earned millions per year.

No I am not talking about those who saved and invested over a lifetime to become millionaires! It is just that we must have a balance. That is why the Republicans are trying to destroy Obama and the Democrats. They want to reduce the middle class to subservience to the Corporations! While they sing their Corporate Internationale and ship our jobs, technology, and futures out of this country! This is not “innovation” to reward! I just wish I didn’t hear the whine of “MEOW” from Democrats anymore!

Today I watched Republican House minority leader John Boehner do a full court press spin on “Meet The Press’. He blamed the Democrats for not being able to lead the nation by pointing out the problems that Obama had with blue dog Democrats. What the host failed to press Rep. John Boehner on was that the Democrats had more than enough votes IF the Republicans allowed governmental processes to take place by not resorting to the filibuster in the Senate. “Meet The Press” host, David Gregory did not press Republican Minority Leader John Boehner that his Republican counterparts in the Senate were engaging in the filibuster at record levels! Hence the Democrats had to have all 60 votes not just 50 votes plus Vice President Biden to act as the breaking vote to pass. While Rep. Boehner is a member of the House not the Senate, none the less the record Senate filibusters are the only reason the Democrats have come to a halt.

Just imagine if the situation were reversed! Republicans would be demanding that Democrats accept the election results and stop filibustering like babies! We would hear their whining sanctimonious cries of “let the votes be cast” and “allow the delegates of America’s SILENT MAJORITY to pass their legislation!”. Furthermore if the situation were reversed and it was Nancy Pelosi on “Meet The Press” and David Gregory let her get by with statements about the majority party not being able to govern we would hear a vast Republican out cry of “liberal news media biases!” Below is a video clip of the interview.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Republican Minority Leader Boehner was also asked about “Don’t ask don’t tell” which you can also see in the video clip above! Basically his response was “with the problems we are facing as a nation, fighting two wars and the threat of terrorism do we really want to get side tracked into such a divisive issue right now?”

Well actually there are several reasons why we have to end “Don’t ask don’t tell:

(Short Video above: Gays want in to military service while Bush wanted out)

Just when exactly are we going to be with out problems? Then according to John Boehner we have to be free of national problems before we can address this issue! If we said that when the issue was slavery we would still have slaves, woman would not be allowed to vote and Massachusetts might still have the successor to the Puritan Church as it’s “official church”. They did not end having an official church till the 1830’s! Republican House Leader John Boehner just wants to postpone this issue forever. Naturally we should not postpone tax cuts for the rich only equal rights for gays!

The BUSH FACTOR: We have a shortage of troops and folks like former President Bush did not want to go to complete their lawfully required Reserve meetings. (See Video above). Amazing isn’t it! Instead of creating stereo types of “no atheists in the fox holes” or gays cannot serve like they do in many other nations, maybe we should demand that before a President send our troops to die in the Republican Social Engineering Experiment in Iraq they should first finish their military obligation that they signed up for.

Finally it is the right thing to do. We are a nation of values. Our military must reflect a cross section of the society they represent.

Might this humble liberal blogger suggest to Republicans that since you never tire of wanting proof of Barrack Obama’s proof of native birth, maybe you should join with the military officer in the above video and ask where was George Bush when he signed up to serve in the National Guard!

President Barrack Obama did an excellent job speaking to the Republican House Caucus. He requested that the cameras keep rolling during the question and answer session that followed his speech to the Republican Caucus. He had command of the situation and the facts. Remember the sneers at Barrack Obama that he was a novice?

Well here is an idea for a Grass Roots Progressive Action Plan!

Why not reciprocate? That’s right why not have Sarah Palin address the Democratic House Caucus! To give her equal treatment just like when Obama spoke to the Republicans, have a question and answer televised session after! No teleprompters! After all unlike Barrack Obama who was a “mere community organizer”, in Sarah Palin we have an intellectual power house! We have John McCain’s word on that! See The video below.

After all he did not even need to vet her to be his Vice Presidential running mate! Maybe we Democrats can learn something from the vast foreign policy expertise of half term Alaska Governor Sarah Palin!

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

This is not a joke. The Republicans have been waging psychological operations against President Obama. Their accusations against President Obama included:

Obama wanting to establish “death panels” and create a communist soviet style state in America.

Being a “pal of terrorists” this from Sarah Palin the pal of Alaskan secessionists.

That President Obama is not a real native born American but a Kenyan.

A mere “community organizer”. Yes that was from Sarah Palin’s acceptance speech at the GOP Convention.

The time has come to pull these Republicans out into the day light so the American people can see how they are willing to place their own selfish interests above the nation. Can you imagine Sarah Palin speaking to the Democratic Caucus without a teleprompter and taking questions.

Oh dear don’t give Sarah Palin a hard “got you” question like:

“What newspapers do you read?”

“What is the Bush Doctrine”?

And since North Korea is trying to make nukes, “What is the difference between North and South Korea”? (See video above).

Tell them you are tired of Democrats letting the “Party of No” stop the “Silent Majority”. Republicans have no problem going for the jugular. Now it is time to bring them into the light of day. For that reason the Democratic Caucus should reciprocate the Republican Caucus and invite Sarah Palin to address the Democratic Party members of the House along with a televised question and answer session after. Why would Sarah Palin be afraid to address the Democratic Party Caucus? She addressed the Alaskan Independence Party Convention! (see video below).

Dear —-

Since Sarah Palin and her fellow travelers have accused our President of being a mere “community organizer” and lacking experience, we Democrats would like to partake of the vast wisdom of the Republican Party’s de facto leader and part term Alaskan Governor “Sarah Palin”!

We suggest that the Democratic Party Caucus in the House reciprocate the Republican Caucus’s invitation to President Obama by issuing an invitation to Sarah Palin to give a televised address to the Democratic Caucus with a follow up question and answer session. Naturally that also will be televised and without teleprompters.

Democrats and progressives are sick and tired of Republicans conducting psychological warfare against the elected representatives of the Silent Majority of America! We have seen our President called a communist, a non-native born American Kenyan, an elitist, a Muslim terrorist sympathizer, a “pal of terrorists” and a would be creator of death panels!

These attacks are not simply against him but the Silent Majority of Americans who elected him and our Congress though our democratic process! By extending this “invitation” we would like to have former Gov. Sarah Palin enlighten us Democrats on death panels and the difference between North and South Korea!

While we understand Sarah Palin is busy preparing for her speech to the Tea Party Convention, we Democrats would beg to partake of her vast wisdom and insight! Since she has done such a great job addressing the Alaskan Independence Party as can be seen on the video at www.middle-class-populist.com we believe she can find the time to educate the Democratic Party Caucus.

Respectfully,

<Sign your name here >

My fellow progressives the time has come for our version of a Tea Party! These effete snobs must be put in their place! Please use the suggested letter I posted above or use your own words. But we need to suggest this to both Democrats in the Congress and progressive news commentators!

The time has come for America’s vast Silent Majority, our great middle class and those who aspire to be, to demand that these effete snobs in the Republican Party stop conducting such hateful attacks and instead engage in constructive dialog. Here is your chance to pull these effete snobs out into the light of day! Please e-mail or mail as many of the above as you can. Thank you!

Frankly I am feed up with Democrats being so airy faery when it comes to taking on Republicans. Can you imagine that the Republicans were actually stealing the issue of being middle class defenders against big corporations and Wall Street?

Well it started before Obama with Pelosi and the Democrats having control of the House in the last two years of the Bush presidency. Yet the Democrats were to afraid to use their Constitutional power to play “Chicken” with Bush and de-fund the Iraq War. Not to mention starting impeachment hearings on how we were pushed into that war. Even if we did not fully impeach Bush the Republicans would be discredited if Pelosi lead the House to conduct intense never-ending hearings into the process that lead to the war and the waste in contracts. The cost of this vast Republican Social Engineering Experiment in Iraq would be more closely linked with the Republicans. But instead we got a “MEOW”! This is why Obama faces a “party of no” because Pelosi showed the Democrats will not play “chicken” and face down the Republicans.

But there is more. Obama over learned the lessons of Clinton with his Democratic Congress. By being to laid back he failed to provide the dynamic leadership and Republicans linked the image of wimps with Democrats even more!

President Obama mounted the horse of middle class populist anger but if he does not charge with that horse he will ride into Waterloo! I think it is about time for Obama to charge and really put the Republicans on the defensive! Yes I liked his attacks on the banks. But it did not go far enough!

Mr President what good is forcing banks to pay back the money they owe us if they are just going to steal it right back and wreck the lives of middle class Americans in the process? Along with the fees on banks what about a Federal Usury Law? Banks are charging people on their credit cards 29.9%. Is this change we can believe in?

Let me list some issues and how a testosterone enhanced Democratic Party would respond:

The Banks: In addition to forcing them to pay back let it come from their pockets not the middle class. We need a Federal Usury Law. Banks are charging 29.9% interest on many credit cards. That rate’s effect is to make one a perpetual slave of the banks rather than an insurance against a bad credit risk! If they feel that some folks are bad credit risks then why are they extending them credit anyway. What is happening is that middle class Americans received their cards with much lower rates then the banks raised them even on mainstream credit card holders!

Home Owners: The banks profited from issuing dangerous credit and hence assisted the real estate market to explode. We need not only far more regulations but a change in personal bankruptcy laws to make it easier for middle class Americans to file for bankruptcy! George Bush and his fellow travelers changed the bankruptcy law to punish middle class Americans. If Americans can file for bankruptcy under better conditions then this threat will force banks to renegotiate the loan terms. Easing bankruptcy will also make credit card companies more reasonable. This will make the real estate market more rational in the future.

Executive Compensation: Now here is where Obama missed the populist’s train. The time has come not to simply demand lower rates of compensation for corporate executives whose companies take federal dollars, instead the time has come to question why anyone should be making millions per year in any industry! What the hell are they contributing to this society? This is why we need a more aggressive progressive income tax and inheritance tax. My God it’s not like we are taking money from people who earned it. The average American at the end of the year is not making what one CEO made on the first day!

The Supreme Court Decision On Corporations pushing their way into elections: This decision must be over turned. John McCain who was against it joined the Democrats in chanting the “Democratic Party mantra, “MEOW … MEOW…MEOW”. No we need more than laws to contain this decision but a Constitutional Amendment! Obama should have tapped into Middle Class Populist rage by demanding that Americans not be subjected to “Taxation Without Representation”. Because we are going to be taxed by the Corporate Collectives who will siphon off their K – Street costs on the consumer via increased costs for goods and services.

President Obama fails to understand that this is the national electorate not the primaries!

When President Obama relied on the public to see through the fear mongers he may have been right when the battlefield was the democratic primaries! But now he is facing Republicans and in the national arena appearing weak is going to make him loose. Below is a skit from The Daily Show concerning this issue. I wish the real world was as funny.

(You may want to push the slider on the show up a few minutes past the introductions)

The time has come to go on the offensive. Americans must face that we are at the cross roads. Health Care, the banks, our economy are all symptoms of a much more fundamental issue!

Are we a society where one person = one vote or are we a society where one dollar = one vote! That is the issue all else is merely symptoms of this underlying choice!

As I pointed out in my article “Tale Of Two Americas”, there are two competing schema fighting for the virility of our society.

Corporate Organized Money will win out against Individual Freedom by corrupting our political process or Individual Freedom will win against organized money! Yes we need capitalism to motivate people to innovate. Conservatives love to lecture us on “the lessons of history”. In the ancient Roman Republic when a general was paraded on his chariot with a golden laurel over his head and the mob cheered there was one person standing behind him repeating the phrase “remember you are only a man”.

Well I would point out to Conservatives that the time has come to learn the lessons of history. You see in the chariot of the 21st Century there still stands a force to remind the laurel wearer that there is a counter side to their acclaim!

In our modern society that person who stands behind the corporate rich is not a person but THE PROGRESSIVE INCOME TAX and the INHERITANCE TAX! Because if you are middle class and have self respect, then you should wonder just what is anyone doing to earn that amount of money per year! I don’t care even if there was no TARP! No one deserves to earn more than three or four times the average American. We cannot set pay-scales but we can set the tax!

Welcome to reality Mr CEO and your fellow corporate rich! Remember you are only a man (or woman). You do not deserve millions per year. We suffer to allow some of this so there will be incentives. Yes it is fine for some one to save and invest to become a millionaire or even multi-millionaire. But who deserves millions per year? My God did they create a cure for cancer or aids? But we in the Middle Class – our nation’s great Silent Majority will not stand by while our meager income is taken from us to finance your K – Street operations to take our government and democracy away from us! The time has come to stand up for American Values! The Progressive Income Tax and Inheritance Tax are just the “Producers” way of saying “Welcome To The Real World”.

No one deserves that rate of compensation while our jobs are off shored and out sourced and you and your fellow travelers have the audacity to call this “innovation”. Americans will not stand by while you sing your “Globalization Corporate Internationale”!

Guess where their funding is going to come from? It is bad enough that these effete snobs of privilege earn more in one day then many earn in one year! But they will not simply stick their hands into their slothful deep pockets to fund their class agenda but will forcefully stick their hands into the pockets of America’s Silent Majority – our great Middle Class! The modus operandi of financing their corporate K-Street agenda and this transfer of wealth from America’s middle class to the corporate elitists will be via:

Higher costs for goods and services the corporation provides and/or

Decreased quality and/or quantity of such goods and services

Decreased compensation for their middle class employees

More incentives to off shore both blue collar and white collar jobs overseas. Frequently even to the enemies of America!

(Watch this excellent video of Keith Olbermann and Rep. Allan Grayson)

Once again we hear the term “freedom” used by Republicans. No this is not “freedom” for the middle class but freedom for the bully!

We hear this mantra of the right repeated over and over “that as the government grows then individual freedom withers”! But the government is not the only force on the field. In a democracy the government is an agent of the people! It serves as the “referee”. Reduce it and you do not increase individual freedom but create a vacuum! Decrease the power of the referee and the silent majority then live their lives at the mercy of the corporate bully!

Corporations can then operate without impunity against their employees, the consumer, and the environment. Without the referee the “Individual” losses their freedom to the “Corporate Collective”!

With their new Supreme Court mandated power to engage in “TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION” they can perform a vast right wing social engineering experiment to remake America in their image!

From “One person – One vote”, America will be changed into a new Gilded Society of “One Dollar – One Vote”! Our new purpose in this brave new world is to serve the corporate collective! After all in their world of entitlement it is they who are the “producers” not we the Silent Majority of the middle class!

Yet these fools in the Tea Party movement cannot see what is happening to our nation. Any middle class American who has “self respect” would reject these elitists who brag they are the “producers”!

I wish Sarah Palin would have talked about who are the “producers” in our society in the last election! Instead that friend of Alaskan secessionists and effete snob had the audacity to call Barrack Obama an elitist!

In this Republican brave new world, where individual freedom is subservient to the Corporate Collective, we will witness more American blue collar and white collar jobs being shipped overseas while our social betters reap the profits! In this new “Global Gilded Society” our social betters, the so-called “producers” will hold no allegiance to America nor to the preservation of our way of life! Just look at Halliburton! They now have most of their corporation’s headquarters in Dubai! They even had a subsidiary in Iran. The very nation that was sending weapons to kill our soldiers in Iraq!

Where is the loyalty to America and our way of life from those who prospered? They even place their Corp. Headquarters on Caribbean Islands to evade their responsibly to the land that gave these “persons” their incorporation birth! In this brave new world of the Guided Society our military technology is shipped overseas, frequently to Americas enemies! All the while the these effete snobs and their fellow travelers in the Republican Party sing their new “REPUBLICAN GLOBALIZATION GILDED AGE CORPORATE INTERNATIONALE”!

Where is their loyalty to the nation and society that gave them incorporation, profits and freedom? Well if the Chinese go communist again guess who will “rediscover” their American identity if there is a military buildup and profit! The crisis we face to defend America and our middle class demands a “Constitutional Amendment” to strip corporations of the right to impose the cost of their K-Street agenda on middle class Americans! There can be no compromise!

The time has come to face the real issues in our society!

While we want people to have incentives to innovate, we don’t want that “innovation” to be the production of products and services by slave labor compensation nor the loss of leisure time with friends and family! The time has come to question why anyone should be making more than three times the salary of the average American. What the hell are they doing to earn such compensation? We need a European style progressive income tax. If you are a middle class American and have “self respect” you must demand an end to their extreme control of compensation standards. My God it’s not like they found a cure for cancer, heart disease or aids! From the way these effete snobs of privilege whine at taxes you would think that they actually earn their wealth and have an entitlement?

The time has come for the Silent Majority, our great Middle Class, to assert it’s right as the “Producers” in of this society! If we do not have the “separation of corporation and state” our story will be the tale of two Americas! The impoverished middle class and the effete snobs of corporate elitists who govern us!

Americans love “action figures”. George Bush Jr. did not even have a majority when the College of Electors gave him the presidency in the 2000 election. Gore had the popular vote regardless of Florida. But Bush became an “action figure” when the issue was terrorism. So what he invaded the wrong country, Iraq! Americans love ACTION! His action, even wrong action, gave him a second term. Hell even the liberal MSNBC was re-airing the invasion of Iraq with all our “shock and awe” technology to it’s liberal audience well into the second term of George Bush. Then the issue was the economy and jobs. The Republicans preached what George Bush Sr. called “voodoo economics”. The same hands off economics of Herbert Hover. Obama promised “change” he presented himself as an “ACTION FIGURE”. Below is a video, not from a politician but an average American whose frustration and anger I agree with 100%. Thank you Justin for the video!

Mr. President I have not seen “Change We Can Believe In”! Tell me is this the “Change We Can Believe In”.

More money was spent on AIG then what was allocated for infrastructure for the entire nation!

Pork barrel spending instead of targeting more money to “Green Technology”. You stated that this pork was in the pipes before you took office even though you signed it into law! Why did you sign it?

Mr. President you said you were going to protect the average American from health care increases yet you placed more value on the votes of Olympia Snowe and Joe Lieberman than the people who elected you by killing the public option.

You dishonored the people who elected you by letting the likes of Sarah Palin talk about “death panels” and question your patriotism, and hence our party because we voted for you. Yet this woman has deep connections to the Alaskan Independence Party and has the brains of a five year old. By not attacking her or at least letting your Vice President play attack dog you cast our movement (not just yourself) as a movement of castrati and losers! You allowed them to be perceived as the “action figures”!

Instead demanding the Separation of Corporation and State you surrendered to Ben Nelson and Joe Lieberman. Why should middle class Americans have to pay for the K-Street operations of the Health Insurance Cartel or for that matter any corporation? Why should union members pay taxes on their health insurance because Obama doesn’t want to tax the rich. My God you would think that these people actually deserve to make the money they do!

When Republicans and their fellow travelers in the Tea Party Movement smeared our Party and the progressive agenda as being the agents of “Wall Street” while they cast themselves as the agents of “Main Street” you joined with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to chant the mantra of “MEOW …. MEOW……MEOW”.

You have allowed the Republicans and Tea Party folks to steal the “economy and jobs” as their issue not ours! What happened to focusing on companies that set up phony headquarters on Caribbean Islands to avoid paying taxes! You should have launched a “DAILY” Franklin Roosevelt campaign of CLASS WARFARE against these parasites in our society who want to ship both blue collar and white collar jobs overseas while they profit! Oh no that would generate bad karma. Well look at the result! Just look at Massachusetts! People want to see “ACTION”.

Dear readers the Democratic Party has answered the “Party of No” by becoming the “Party of MEOW”! These wimps will answer that folks like myself cannot do the math! We need 60 votes! Well I can do the math!

What I see is:

Corporations being given the right to levy a “stealth tax” against middle class Americans to finance their K-Street Agenda! They finance their agenda from increased costs of goods and services and/or reduction in services.

Democrats being part of their agenda and taking their money!

President Obama’s 180 turn concerning transparency and placing Congress on C-Span. No let’s see where all the corporate contributions are going and not just on this issue!

If Democrats cannot be Democrats then let them loose! Let the Health Care Bill go down to defeat if it doesn’t have a strong public option! When the rates go through the ceiling then the Republicans will be blamed not us! Besides if we pass a weak bill how is it going to be made better if we keep on the same path? Are Democratic Senators Ben Nelson, Joe Liebermann and Mary Landrieu going to go away?

The most important thing for President Obama to do now is to act strong and demand election reform that gives the people back their government not the corporations! While no one wants to have the government set salary compensations the time has come to end the redistribution of wealth away from the middle class to the upper 2-4%! We need a vibrant progressive income tax that protects the real producers in America! – Our middle class! We are not creating “Class Warfare” the Republicans have. They have no problem diverting attention away from issues with talk of “death panels” and “Gay Marriage”! They excel at creating divisions. Now we must answer it back! “MEOW” is no longer going to be accepted!

The Silent Majority demands our party:

Protect home owners not just giant corporations!

End the practice of usury by credit card companies.

End the exporting of middle class blue collar and white collar jobs overseas!

Stop allowing corporations from collecting our money to finance their own K – Street agendas!

Calling for Real Election Reform (See my proposal on this issue)

Thank God we lost in Massachusetts that way “doing the math” is no longer the issue. Let’s push “Medicare for all” which can be done around the filibuster by “reconciliation”. President Obama must now speak daily as “Pontifex Maximus” of the nation and “define the issues” rather than letting the Republicans do it. The issue isn’t health care it is the loss of individual freedom to “Corporate Collectivism“! Health Care is just one symptom.

The cure is:

An increase in both the Progressive Income Tax and the Estate Tax for the super rich!

Banning all corporate contributions to candidates.

We cannot answer the “Party of No” by being the “Party of Meow”. Just look at Massachusetts! The charge of the castrati brigade must come to an end!
