So how are those campaign contributions from the pharmaceutical industry working out for you now Senator Reid? Thanks for destroying the Public Option!

Naturally they want us liberals and progressives to stand by them after they:

1. Denied us the Public Option in the so called Health Care Bill. Note I would “settle” for a strong public option but I want a single payer health care system.
2. Kept the bailouts for the giant corporations but did little for Main Street.
3. Did nothing really to end “To Big To Fail” except create a small insurance backup fund so the rich can continue to play their gambling and bizarre practices. Why not break up the banks?
4. Stood by while the Supreme Court gave corporations the right to inject more money into our elections process. We need a constitutional amendment to end ALL corporate infections of the decision making processes of our society. Let our representatives use the eloquence of their logic to advance their thesis not money forcefully raised from the Silent Majority by added costs to our consumer products and services that these corporate collectives produce.
5. Allowed a so-called Financial Reform Bill to pass without regulating credit card usury.

In the clip above Rep. Debbie Wasserman tries to do a tap dance about Democrats being strong advocates for job creation! Yes I understand she is trying to make the situation better but it will not sell. While REAL DEMOCRATS who follow FDR and want to fight the interests of ORGANIZED MONEY are for job creation, most Democrats have spent the last year and a half singing Komb Bye Yah with their corporate sponsors and the Republicans.

Sure we had the Health Care Issue to face but the real issue is:

Corporate Control of our elected officials both Republican and Democrat! Fact: You need money to wage a political campaign. Corporations give to Republicans because they advance their agenda. Corporations give to Democrats so they will “play liberal” but like good little children do it in the “sand box”. Good little democrats don’t raise that nasty issue of the class warfare that is being waged against the middle class!

So just listen to Congresswoman Wasserman do her little tap dance about job creation. It is not going to sell with the American people. Heck many liberal commentators are attacking Obama for the same reasons I have! We gave more money to AIG alone then we did to infrastructure rebuilding! Sure it takes time for a “real stimulus” to effect the economy but this was not a real stimulus and we should have capitalized on the economic discontent the Republicans created.

What the Troika Of Impotence Should Have Been Doing to Prevent A November Election Loss!

Obama, Reid and Pelosi should have been advocating a strong Tariff to defend not only American blue collar jobs but high tech white collar jobs as well. You cannot train blue collar workers for white collar jobs that are being off shored and/or filled by legally imported H1–b workers to undercut the salaries of America’s Middle Class. Americans should not have to compete with slave labor! Yet the bleeding hearts of the Republican Party whine that the Bush Tax Cuts will expire. We should eliminate not only those tax cuts but the Reagan Tax Cuts as well! We need to go back to when Eisenhower was President with a 90% progressive income tax.

But the Democrats will not because they can only play “liberal” inside the restraints that their corporate masters have set for them. They attack us progressives and now want us to bail them out! They fear a November election loss and they should!

When Republicans under Bush had problems they would “entertain” the masses with a side show scaring them about Blacks or Gay Marriage. Why cannot the Democrats have some testosterone and now wage the class warfare issue? Oh dear now did I say something so nasty? Have you noticed the sucking sound as all the high tech jobs are leaving this country and those that remain are being filled by imported H1-b workers? I have as I was one of those replaced!

Instead we have even Moveon.org telling myself and other supporters to write Harry Reid a thank you e-mail for making the most luke warm gestures to support the weakened Health Care Reform Law.

Don’t we Democrats have any guts! TIME TO LOCK AND LOAD! Maybe if we had advanced a real Democratic Party agenda we would not be facing a November election loss!

We need a liberal President with some testosterone such as Senator Bernie Sanders or former Governor Howard Dean! Both Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton are too weak. Hillary Clinton, while an agent of job outsourcing, at least was a strong advocate for Universal Health Care.

Recently the guest host on the “Ed Schultz Show” blasted Obama saying that the weakened health care law would not survive to 2014 when most of its provisions would go into effect.  Ed’s guest host is from the “Young Turk’s” and gives a great analysis. (See the video below).

I agree with Cenk Uygur’s points.

• The Health Care Reform Law will never see 2014 when it’s major provisions go into effect. Thus even though the bill is weak the public will never see what ever benefits the law will produce.
• The Health Care Reform Law is to weak to keep prices down.
• The public is swallowing the Republican line about deficit spending  because Obama is not a fighter.

Now what was that about the health care law being a “starter house”? No it is a morgue! This is law is a dud.

What I really like about his analysis is that he recognizes that Democrats have no guts to pursue the Progressive Agenda for this nation. I have mentioned on this blog that the Democratic Party should have as it’s war cry mantra the word….”MEOW”. As I have mentioned time and again it is not just Obama but Pelosi and Reid, this “TROIKA OF IMPOTENCE”.

Nightmare Of The Democratic Party: Having The Majority!

Yes it seems that this is just to much for Obama, Reid and Pelosi! Can you imagine what the Republicans would be doing now if they had the leads we have in both Houses of Congress and the possession of the Presidency?

Why Obama’s Approval Rating Is Falling

As a liberal and Social Democrat let me list two reasons:

1. Democrats are wimps just plain and simple! Sorry no one is buying the argument that it takes time to heal the economy while Obama hardly ever mentioned jobs or the need for a strong tariff to protect both blue collar job off shoring and white collar job off shoring as well. The stimulus was to weak and Obama should have “entertained” the public with his oratory by scapegoating the top 2%. Hell Bush diverted attention from his failures by scapegoating Gays and their desire for marriage and military service rights.
2. Democrats want to be liberals but they need corporate money to be elected. Corporations gave vast sums to Harry Reid and so is it any wonder that we don’t have a Public Option in the weak health care bill that was passed? Democrats take the money and accept the limits imposed on them by their corporate masters. Democrats can be liberals but must stay inside the sandbox! Obama received vast sums from Goldman Sachs and from BP.

Obama is a looser plain and simple! No he is NOT corrupt but he has a leash on him! Gosh golly I wonder why we are being told that the majority of the oil in the Gulf of Mexico is no longer there? Nice isn’t that BP contributed to Obama and now under the change in the law when we buy gas at the pumps we can contribute directly to the agenda of our social betters. It just goes on and on for not only Republicans but Democrats as well.

When will the decision making processes of our Congress be governed by the sheer logic and eloquence of the members presentation rather than the campaign contributions of their contributors?

The Silent Majority must take back our Democracy from these effete snobs of privilege behind the corporate boardroom closed doors! Obama and the Trokia of Impotence may indeed get their wish for the Democratic Majority to disappear. But why should our hopes for the Progressive Agenda go down because they are so incompetent?

First has anyone heard Senator Harry Reid’s full comments on Obama’s flip flop on the Mosque? Senator Reid spoke about the lack of Republican support for those injured at Ground Zero? Since the Republicans seem so intense about the sacredness of “Ground Zero” you would expect them to fork up some cash to those brave first responders! Did the news media make as much of an issue concerning the Republicans not supporting a Democrat bill to provide relief to those first responders who are suffering from the after effects of the WTC pollution? The answer is no! The news media only made an issue of the Mosque, and from most news media reports, the Mosque was going to be on Ground Zero! However the truth is the exact opposite! (See the video below by Keith Olbermann). Why is the news media saying the Mosque is going to be on Ground Zero and why don’t they challenge the Republicans when they say such lies? Why is the news media spinning the truth with a right wing slant? This is not just Fox News where you would expect such nonsense but all the news channels!

Obama Allows Republicans To Hussein His Image

This still does not excuse President Obama opening up this can of worms when we liberals are suffering enough from his lack of testosterone to advance the progressive agenda on health care, Main Street over Wall Street or credit card reform. Then again we have to ask where we would be with out Keith Olbermann and similar progressive commentators such as the Young Turk’s since our Democratic Party politicians seem to be just as wimpy as Obama. Why does Obama “choose” to engage in the Mosque battle when he could have shown some testosterone in the defense of Gay marriage? Instead he made the choice to focus on defending Islam! But then again Obama has his priorities all mixed up to start.  How can you allow month after month of death panel talk to go unchecked? Democrats are so impotent they are allowing Republicans to steal the issue of advocacy of Main Street while they try to label us as the champions of Wall Street. Hmm but then again the money is flowing to Democratic politicians and Harry Reid got loads from the pharmaceutical industry! Gosh golly where did the public option disappear to?

Yes this watered down Health Care Bill and the impotent stimulus is “Change We Can Believe In”? That’s not why I voted for Obama!  We should have been screaming about social class inequality and why we need to repeal not just the Bush tax cuts but the Reagan tax cuts – just to start!

We gave more to AIG then we did to stimulate alternative fuel research and development. We gave more to AIG than to infrastructure repair. Yes “CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN”! Now Obama gets a dose of testosterone to defend the Mosque near ground zero when he should have been using his oratorical skills to attack corporate collectivism in America and the destruction of the Middle Class dream. Democrats should be screaming “Anti – Liberal News Media Biases” about the Mosque not being on Ground Zero and about the Republicans not supporting the relief to the first responders of 9-11. All we hear is “meow”!

The issue is what causes the lack of fire from Democratic Party politicians? Is it just plain impotence or are they tripping over their Wall Street contributors to kiss their butts! Yes I understand the Republicans take corporate money and want to advance their corporate masters agenda. Democrats want to be liberals but need to be elected so they take the money but then find themselves “playing liberal” inside the corporate defined “sandbox”. Even if the Democrats do have their heart in the right place the results are the same!

Obama, Reid and Pelosi – the Troika of Impotence and friends of Wall Street! Play in the sandbox children and don’t worry you will loose that nasty majority in Congress. How can Democrats be such masochists?

Sarah Palin is trying to steal the iconography of “potency” from Barrack Obama with her metaphor of the “Mama Grizzly”. That nice folksy icon of the Alaskan Independence Party that Sarah Palin loves so much. If Sarah Palin where a liberal then Glenn Beck would bring out the connection between the image of the “Mama Grizzly (see image on right) with the logo of the Alaskan Independence Party.  Remember his conspiracy talk about images on buildings a few months back!

But the real problem is that Barrack Obama would prefer to attack his own base than fight the Republicans. If he had some “potency” he would be lambasting Sarah Palin for double talk, since by her own admission she crossed the Canadian border to partake of their evil socialized medicine. Then again what can you expect from a wimp of a President who allows:

• Month after month of death panel talk to go unanswered.
• Corporate citizenship to be instituted by an activist far right Supreme Court with no demand for a constitutional amendment to restore a  strict constructionalist interpretation of the Constitution in wake of right wing activism.
• A so – called “Health Care Bill” to be made into law without a strong public option.
• His own native citizenship to be assailed without lashing back.
• Sarah Palin’s connection to the Alaskan Independence Party to not be examined.

What kind of “family values” do the Republicans and their fellow travelers in the Tea Party believe in that would deny health care to Americans while Sarah Palin crossed the border to benefit from Canadian health care?

Meanwhile our President Obama is still being briefed that we Democrats actually do have control of both Houses of Congress. Yes that’s right Mr. President we not only won the elections but did so with a land slide. Our President, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid seem to constitute a “Troika Of Impotence” that cowers at “Mama Grizzly” Sarah Palin. But don’t worry because these three stooges have literally blown away our chances of making a change in our society the Republicans will win big this November. That is because they know how to use rhetoric!

Amazing isn’t it that the way the conservatives and Republicans ranted about Obama being such a “dangerous orator” and a “demagogue” that you would expect after 18 months into his Presidency we would be living in our new Socialist Motherland! Well actually the concept sounds pretty good to me, at least West European style Socialism.

So where is my new Socialist Motherland? All I see is corporations corrupting Democrats, killing the public option, blocking the importation of cheap Canadian pharmaceuticals and a Supreme Court that says they can spend all they want on ads for their candidates while forcing me to pay for it from their imposed prices on my consumption or their goods and services!

Mama Grizzly Sarah Palin And The Alaskan Independence Party!

Why don’t the Democrats go after Palin concerning her links to the Alaskan Independence Party? Well that would take some testosterone and Obama seems to lack that! Obama is an Osterich!

That’s right Mr. President just put your head in the sand like an osterich and those horrible majorities we have in both Houses of Congress will just go away! Right now it seems Obama will get his wish. This is not “Change We Can Believe In“!

Google Adsense Needs An Exorcist

I will be removing the Google Adsense ad program from this site. While they do provide a means to remove individual advertisers, once one Republican group’s ad is removed another one takes it’s place. Sort of like rodents don’t you think!

Anyway please bare with me while I read up on how to change from group ads to just search ads. The Amazon ads do long interesting though. Google Adsense works by analyzing the text and thus putting so called relevant ads on the space provided. What they never figured out is that when the issue is politics you need to find if the person is for or against the concept being discussed.

Thus with google Adsense if their “bot”  were to spot the word “abortion” in the text it would generate an ad dealing with abortion from those opposed to those in favor. – WOW this from the people who drive me nuts with their S.E.O rules and regulations.

Harry Reid And The Troika Of Impotence

Harry Reid should also be giving the same advice to himself along with the ever wimpy Nancy Pelosi who had two years prior to Obama being elected President to impeach George Bush! Oh dear me we wouldn’t want to have attempted that now would we? That would be sooooo negative of us Democrats!

When will Obama learn that you must repeat and repeat the attacks against the Republicans for them to sink in to the American people. Look at how the Republicans and their fellow travelers in the Tea Party have duped the American people concerning death panels and fear of west European style socialism!

Meanwhile we learn that the company that makes the diabetes drug “Avandia” knew for a decade that it could raise the level of heart attacks in those who took it. But our ever glorious free market, you know the nice folks who educate our doctors, placed profit over people. Where are the nut jobs who spoke about “death panels” when it comes to “Avandia”?

Just look at the oil gushing from the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico! BP covered up its High Definition video from the public till now! Look at that video and how Avandia’s dangers have been covered up!

Now ask yourself, are we to trust the free market with our health care? Why doesn’t Obama go on a crusade and use those rhetorical skills to usher in our new western European style socialist motherland? If you are middle class and have self respect then the time has come to stop supporting the economic agenda of our social betters!

But where is Obama when they even smear him as not being native born? Where is President Obama when the Tea Party nut jobs talk about “death panels”? Harry Reid was just as much a wimp but he is right in speak out now. If Obama wants to self destruct that is fine but we voted for him! When is he going to advance the agenda of the people who placed him in office?

Any President who is so wimpy to allow the Tea Party folks to go unanswered deserves to loose. Just look at the economy! Obama should have advanced FDR’s second bill of rights but he didn’t. We Progressives need a Third Party that is free of corporate interests! We must take our nation back! We the people not we the corporations!

Many Liberal talk shows are alarmed that Obama may be turning into a fiscal conservative! (See the video below). Amazing, we can launch two wars that are not paid for and at the same time cut the taxes for the rich! Then naturally we should worry how we can fund a national health care plan. Somehow I think we have our values mixed up.

We must face a crucial assumption that the massive amounts of political campaign contributions have “tamed” even Democrats to avoid. We must face the issue of wealth concentration in the hands of a few!

While we want to encourage risk and innovation there must be a balance. Why should any middle class American work for a corporation where an executives make more in one day then he or she makes in one year? If you are middle class and have self respect you should be jealous of this inequity! Republican love to talk about how many days you have to work into the new year before you are no longer working for you yearly tax! Well how many days does one have to work into the New Year before your cumulative earnings equal just one day of an executives total compensation for just one day!

One of the guests in the video clip above whines that the top 1% of Americans pay half the costs of government! This is true but then again the whining is based on the assumption above that I can shorten below!

Their whining is based on the presumption that they actually “earned” their millions in yearly compensation!

Do they work for it?

Sure they may work extra hours but so do many other Americans! Yes they may have specialized knowledge that takes time to acquire but their job is easier than a soldier, cop or bus driver with far more intrinsic satisfactions! Funny isn’t it that middle class college grads are supposed to accept non-monetary compensation in terms of “professional accomplishment” while their upper class counter parts are to receive millions! Then again many upper class folks don’t even work for it but just manage what mummy and daddy worked for and passed on!

Here are two statistics that you heard before but I bet you never put them together!

Remember this when you hear Republicans whine that government does not produce “real” jobs! First somewhere around 47% of American households don’t pay federal tax! Second most jobs in America are produced by small business! Well perhaps these two statistics are related! Government civil service jobs pay better and I am sure those employees where not among those Americans who earn to little to pay taxes! Perhaps small businesses pay just too little for their employees to pay taxes!

If you are middle class you can accept a doctor making two or three times what you earn. But when you have to work a whole year and still don’t have what an executive makes and if you have self esteem then you must say enough is enough!

But wait executives have to make very educated decisions. Yes it hard to decide should we off shore blue collar jobs to the same country we off shore white collar computer jobs? Should we just import H1-b workers to replace high paid programmers? Yes that is the type of “productivity” that our CEO’s are compensated at such high rates. – The bleeding of America!

I believe we need to pay our members of Congress much more than CEO’s. Besides they are running America and isn’t America worth more than a corporation? We must insure that our politician’s “decision making” is not corrupted by corporate campaign contributions that we are forced to contribute to in levy’s against the corporations costs of product and services!

President Obama do you want to fix our economy? Then do the following:

• Raise the tariff and bring jobs home to America!
• Repeal both the Bush and Reagan tax cuts for the rich!
• End the costly war in Iraq and Afghanistan!
• Prosecute corporations that make phony head quarters overseas to avoid paying taxes!
• Raise the estate tax on the supper rich back to the level of 50’s under Eisenhower!

The time has come to support the producers in America! Our Silent Majority – our great Middle Class!

No Mr. President this is not “silly season” in politics! This is the death of your Presidency and the agenda of we the middle class who put you in power!

How Obama Let The Right Wing Pull Him Down!

Well you really have to try hard when Bush made such a mess to NOT see a golden opportunity to change the philosophy of the average person but then we have Barrack Obama as President and he is hell bent on loosing!

Let’s list some examples of how to really loose!

• Letting right wing nut cases go on and on about death panels without pointing out the agenda of their corporate masters earned you the low numbers you have Mr. President!
• Making a milk toast attempt at Green Technology while giving AIG 180 Billion. We only put 45 Billion in infrastructure repair.
• Allowing right wing idiots to STEAL the “golden goose”, that is the behavior of Goldman Sachs and friends and making Democrats perceived to be their friends while Republicans play the ally of Main Street! My God that takes real stupidity Mr. President. But then again you have Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid at your side. We should have had non-stop Congressional hearings to rouse public indignation! Oh no but we want to sing Kumbayah with the Republicans!
• Republicans are acting like they are the ones who can create jobs! But today they stopped dead an extension of unemployment insurance. This could be a great teaching moment for Obama to take to the waves! But oh no we would not want to do that now would we Mr. President!

How About Change We Can Believe In

Obama needs to understand the Presidency has two means to bring about lasting “Change We Can Believe In”.

1. By introducing new laws!
2. By acting as PONTIFEX MAXIMUS of the nation. That is say using the bully pulpit of the Presidency to preach and preach and preach! Hey this is why the Republicans feared him. He “WAS” a great orator! Obama has failed completely on this point.

While the stimulus package should be stronger his speeches also need to be stronger and more frequent! Republicans play the “race” and “sexual orientation” cards. Time to play the “class warfare card”. For God’s sake our jobs our being shipped overseas while those who live off dividend checks reap the rewards of the impoverishment of America!

Watch the video above is shows how these people who call themselves the “producers” treat America as a casino. Look at how they are producing pain in America at their profit!

Obama is allowing the Republicans to scare Americans about the debt!

• Why not raise the Tariff and restore both white and blue collar jobs that are being shipped overseas! Laid off blue collar workers cannot gain new jobs by learning computer skills if those jobs also are being off shored and they are!
• We need to raise the progressive income tax to 90% as in the good ole days of President Eisenhower!

I am glad he took McChrystal’s resignation but perhaps he should have taken one of his stars away first! This President needs to learn an important lesson:

Americans want a President who if he cannot fix the problem immediately then at least acts with emotion and kicks some corporate asses! If he survives to a second term and we Democrats maintain the operation of Congress then in his last year or two he can be more above the clouds. At least unleash Vice President Biden to blast the right like Nixon’s VP Agnew blasted the left!

It is important to remember that all military officers receive their commission from the Congress of the United States not the President. The President is the Commander – In Chief. They are placed under him but if called before Congress they MUST answer questions of the Congress that gave them their commission as officers!

Ed Schultz did a great job on his show arguing for McChrystal’s dismissal! I also like the way he pre-empted the right wing on the “patriotism” front. See the video below.

However I fear that President Obama will let him stay because he emphasized that the troops are the most important thing. Well if they are then maybe we should pull them out of Afghanistan! Yes I was for Obama up scaling the war in Afghanistan last year! But now I must agree that our time there is nearing an end. I do not wish to see American troops die so that opium production profits can go to the Afghan Government!

The time to win the war was years ago. But Bush valued Iraq more! Now we are only making things worse. We can use predator drones and airstrikes rather then continue a worthless occupation. Besides the cost is destroying our economy!

But some will argue we should stay in Afghanistan for humanitarian reasons. I don’t want to hear about saving the people of nation “x” (fill in Iraq, Afghanistan). If saving innocent people from Muslim terrorists was the issue then what about Darfur?

It is essential for our national security that once we do not get bogged down in an endless war. Please read my post concerning how Bush undermined our national security by staying in Iraq. When I wrote that post I was against the Iraq War but still supported the Afghan War. Now I believe that we must move on from Afghanistan else we actually damage our national security!

Briefly the reason is this:

Adversaries like Iran and North Korea do not fear being over throw by Democratic forces! They simply fear being overthrown. By being bogged down in Iraq and/or Afghanistan we undermine our military deterrent in relation to Iran and North Korea. We need to understand our strengths and weaknesses! We excel in our military technology! That is to say “shock and awe”! We do not want to engage in extended occupations!

Our threat potential comes from our definition of victory being simply the destruction of an enemy regime not it’s replacement with a democratic one as desirable as that would be!

General McChrystal must go! As I mentioned above I do believe there is a proper forum for a general to disagree with a President but the general cannot take the initiative it must come from Congressional inquiry! I do not want to give a future Republican President the power to silence the input of a general to our Congress which gave the general his commission in the first place! But that is not the issue here. The issue is the General taking the “initiative” not the Congress!

The time has come to leave Afghanistan! At least we did not follow Bush and turn over our port operations to Dubai! The time has come to worry about our economy!

My question for the Democratic Party?

Will the Democratic Party leadership go on the offensive day and night on this issue when raw meat is thrown their way or will we get the usual “MEOW”! I don’t mean just one or two counterattacks but a daily campaign to play the “Class Warfare Card”.

Republicans have no problem with lies concerning “Death Panels” and playing Americans against each other on the basis of race and/or sexual orientation! Again I ask, why cannot Democrats return to the agenda of FDR and play the Class Warfare Card?

ANSWER: Because most Democrats are either corporate lackeys or wimps! They have no taste for blood or victory! Oh dear all this talk of conflict! Think of all the bad karma we will raise. I have to stop a moment and do my mantra meditation.  The Democratic Party’s mantra is “MEOW….MEOW…MEOW”

For God’s sake this could be a great teaching moment! If Obama wants to play “Presidential” at least have Vice President Biden be the attack dog as Spiro Agnew did for Richard Nixon!

Tea Party Hypocrites

For over a year we have been subjected to these corporate lackeys from the Tea Party! Why hasn’t Obama called on his base? I am sick of conservatives stealing the iconography of the pre-revolutionary “Tea Party”. I am sick of them stealing the term “Freedom”! Their concept of “freedom” is the freedom of our social betters to profits without responsibility!

• The “Freedom” to ship both blue collar and white collar jobs off our shores while they protect those that pollute our shores!
• The “Freedom” to off shore the Corporate Headquarters to avoid taxes to America while in shoring their profits!
• The “Freedom” to not bother share holders for raising the costs of their K-Street operations but rather to make the Silent Majority – our great Middle Class absorb the costs of the K-Street operations of our social betters via higher costs for goods and services! This is “Taxation without representation”.
• The “Freedom” to serve the interests of the Corporate Collectivists. Every college graduate must talk at a job interview like he or she is impressed at the profits listed in the annual report of the corporation. “Thy good is my good my master”!

When is Obama going to wake up? Maybe we liberals need a third party even if it makes a Republican win the White House in 2012!

President Obama do you have a death wish? Start kicking some Republican ass big time or loose your base!
