As I ponder God's glory and grace, I also wonder how He wants me to share that with others. I have blogs and networking in place, but my vision is to publish tangible calendars, stationary, postcards, prints suitable for framing, coffee table books...all laced with His insights and wisdom to inspire hope, lead others to faith in Christ, and encourage my brothers and sisters in the Lord. If you have ideas or suggestions, I'm open :)

I have decided to take a different direction with this blog and make it about my writing, art and photography. I truly want to be a faithful servant with the abilities the Lord has blessed me, and so I'm venturing out. I hope you will come along with me on this journey...I could use a lot of prayer support and your expert insights and suggestions!!

Windy sprays of angry lake waters dash against barrier rocks, but they stand firm~unmovable. Could we but understand the analogies within God's Word about Jesus being a rock~a strong, immovable barrier between us and satan~we would lift our heads, don our spiritual armor, and stand firm in our warfare against the onslaught of hell's hosts! We are kings and priests of the Most High God~it's time we took our rightful place at the side of the Prince of Heaven, the Lord of Lord and King of Kings...It's Time!

For all that I behold in the skies, nothing stirs my heart more than the majesty of color in the clouds at sunset and sunrise, especially when it's stormy. I marvel at the way God uses the heavens to communicate what is in His heart to all who dwell on the earth, if they would but open their eyes and take the time to listen.

King David says: "The heavens declare the glory of God, the dome of the sky speaks the work of His hands. Every day it utters speech, every night it reveals knowledge. Flood Waters...

Tears flowed, overwhelming the land. Sorrows flooded the area and lives would never be the same. North Dakota flood plains brought tears to my eyes as I witnessed the devastation~homes, farms, crops...all destroyed and still under water after 5 months. I found these verses...and pray those who have suffered will find their comfort in the Lord.

Isaiah 26:9 (KJV)

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

I'm learning a lesson in friendship...the hard way. Not everyone who says they are your best friend will lift you up when you are down. Some will only be there when you are sweet and funny and giving. Some will turn away when you need them the most. And that's when you turn to the only bff you will ever have. The Lord's friendship and love is forever...
