What did you think? My favorite part of the video is after he first lets the vacuum suck up his sock you can see how quickly it progresses through the vacuum hose. That is clearly one powerful vacuum! I would suggest that a Dyson or a Kenmore isn’t going to be able to do that.

Now I know one of the things that detractors of Miele’s will say is, “but who needs to vacuum up socks?” What a crazy argument! Clearly these videos demonstrating the suction power of a Miele Vacuum are not meant to be showing how they would be used in the real world but rather, to give an example that you can bring to your own life. Ever seen the video with the vacuum cleaner holding up a bowling ball with its suction? Of course nobody will be doing that in their regular cleaning, it is just an example to get you to think.

Showing the Power of a Miele Vacuum

A few interesting things to note in way of highlighting the great features of the Miele Vacuum:

• This video showed conclusively, with the accuracy of a scientific device, how much better the Miele is in regard to it’s Hepa filtration.
• The Miele features a variable speed motor for delicate cleaning.
• The Miele Vacuum Cleaner did a much better job than the Kenmore on cleaning up pet hair.  The Kenmore needed 4 or 5 swipes before it came up and the Miele only needed a couple.
• The edge test (some rice on the edge of a box) was clearly won by the Miele – with the Kenmore he had to get out his edge tool but with the Miele Canister Vacuum all it took was a couple of sweeps and all of the rice was picked up, even on the edge.
• Other vacuum cleaners have wire reinforced hoses which means if you step on it or crush it in any way it will be permanently damaged and you will need to replace the hose.  The Miele comes with a crush-proof hose.
• The movability of the Miele Canister is second to none with 3 wheels each with independent 360 degree direction which makes it very easy to maneuver.  This wheel system is the best in the industry.

Sometimes you don’t need the full power and size of a standard Miele Turbo Brush – that’s when the Miele Mini Turbo Brush comes in handy. This hand-held revolving brush head is perfect for stairs, furniture and upholstered surfaces where more aggressive cleaning is needed.

What’s cool about the Mini Turbo Brush is that it uses the vacuum suction to drive a rotational brush head – and even without a motor driving the brush it generates an amazing amount of force. Small and easy to manuever, this vacuum accessory is perfect for staircases, although you will still need a little help with that section of carpet right at the edge of the tread. What’s cool about this vacuum video is that you can see a number of interesting features that the Miele Canister Vacuum has. I love the LED light in the front of the vacuum head, don’t you? You can just tell how bright that light is.

Listen to the awesome sucking power of that vacuum cleaner too, while you can’t see in the video how much dirt and hair it is picking up you can bet it is a ton. That vacuum cleaner has amazing sucking power.

I love how you can see how light the vacuum cleaner head is, it’s literally flying around the room.
