Yo yo yo whats up it's DJ Uff once again. Pretty excited and happy about my mixtape being hosted and available for download on www.datpiff.com.

This is an excellent, well known site for mixtapes and I have reached a personal milestone for my mixtape by being able to have hosted it on this site and have had sixty four people already download it with over two thousand views in only three days!!! Very proud. I hope you guys continue to enjoy and support my music. I wouldn't make them if no one listened to them and enjoyed them so thank you very very very much for any support I am extremely grateful. It took alot of my free time and hard work to get this mixtape out with songs that not only I love and enjoy because I made them. But for other people to catch the same vibe and feeling when they listen to it and hopefully they can make an emotional connection and enjoy it on their own personal level.

Thanks very much for sites like Dat Piff; I think it's awesome to run a site that allows expression through music and an audience for our mixtapes. Thanks to music lovers and everyone else!!

Super Bowls half time performance

So the Giants faced off against New England in 2012's Superbowl series.
Giants took the field, But Madonna definitely took the stage.
Madonna is a MILF; Oops! I mean Madonna is an excellent singer and performer...

For her age she definately still has a sort of sex appeal and can still capture the attention of a younger audience. During the Superbowl's halftime performance Madonna appeared on the field sitting in a throne of some sort looking like a pop diva/Egyptian queen? Whatever. Anyways the effects were cool, the lights and stage setup had absorbing contrast and the field appeared to have been "eaten," by the stage at some part during the a special effect sequence.

Nikki Minaj and M.I.A than proceeded to compliment their elder singer by adding some modern day, fresh pop cultured music to the mix. I must say, Madonna stood out the most. For some reason she decided to start dancing with LMFAO band members who were DJ'ing "Party rock," on a platform.
Again older generation, complimented by popular youth bands. I think the sole purpose was to make Madonna the main attraction; and it worked. Personally I am fed up with today's music and believe it has no soul or emotional content. Its all the same blah blah sex, money, party bullshit. I can't wait for the day an artist comes out and speaks about a serious issue in our world today. Maybe a positive message here and there would be nice. But aside from getting side tracked the performance was undoubtedly better than Fergies and not to make her feel bad but the last super bowls half time was a sack, fumble, and interception suffered by the fans all in one.

Kudos to Madonna, good performance.

Giants take superbowl!!

I know there's two exclamations on this posts title but I really wasn't that excited at all. I was happy to see the Giants win on Sunday. But the game seemed a bit slow and unappealling compared to past superbowls. The scores were low and tight, close game but honestly, I just wasn't grasped by any plays or exciting moments. BUT! One of the greatest touchdowns I have ever seen happened during the final moments of the game where a Giants player actually haulted, turned around, conveniently got into a squating position and delicately landed his touchdown in a reverse cowgirl position! It was one of the funny and suprising moments i've witnessed during a play in a superbowl game. Especially when the clock was running so low to end game time and the Giants were actually down a couple points.

Now, Bradshaw; the player who landed the astonishing touchdown had me a bit confused. He was well clear of any defensive players and it looked like he pretty much had the touchdown in the bag by the time he turned around. So, was he mocking New England players or did he trip up and realise he should run the clock a bit before landing the touchdown, no idea I guess only Bradshaw could tell us. It definately looked intentional and if it was, that was truly awesome.

Congrats to the Giants on their win. It must be a truly amazing feeling to wear a superbowl ring and be able to hold that trophey. Even though I personally believe it could use a better architect it's what it represents that truly counts.

Tim Hortons offering latte's... ok

Hello to all fellow Canadians. I've noticed that Tim Hortons have recently been offering "Lattes," and "Espresso's," on the brewery menu. First things first, I happen to be Canadian Italian. Latte in Italian means milk. So if you ask for a "Latte," in Italy; Someone will most likely hand you a glass of milk. Not a coffee with milk. Espresso's are a nice touch I must say. I'm not fully aware how they prepare their espresso's but my personal recommendation is with a cafetiera. Amongst all expensive machines, quick coffee makers, and mix substances, a cafetiera still has the most distinct and pleasure able tasting espresso in my opinion. And yes, there is a difference between an espresso and a coffee.
To avoid any form of segregation or racism, I mean no offence in saying that Tim Hortons is not really an Italian based franchise. Its cool to have things from different cultures, but an espresso is best served from a bakery or an Italian persons home. Most employee's are not Italian and I just find it kind of awkward that they referr to a whole cup of coffee mixed with milk, as just milk... Latte. Now I love Canada for being multicultural, and I love having multicultural citizens. But if you're going to represent something from another country just try to do a bit of research before marketing a cultural food or representation. No offense Timmy's, still love your coffees and food. But all this lasagna, lattes, and espressos got me wondering if you should change your franchise name to Timmino Hortinos. Just playing, I haven't tried a latte or espresso from Timmy's yet but im sure it lives up to a decent Italian standard. Go to your local Tim Hortons and try em out. Salute!

Dre Beats: Headphones

Dre beats. The name Doctor Dre and anything to do with bass and snares is an automatic win-win situation. Creating music is one thing. Manufacturing and producing an efficient; cost friendly, sleek and marketable headphone is another.

Dre beats is the newest hype and fad in audio technology. They come in many different colours, but the logo "b" for beats its entirely distinguishable. Dr. Dre himself is amongst the best beat producers and personally one of my favourites.

The headphones are extremely comfortable and well designed to fit over your head. The amuont of bass and clear sound quality is also ideal.

The pricing I believe is highly irrelevant and a bit unfair. Not everyone can and should be able to drop $200-300 dollars on a set of headphones; unless you are of course, pretty darn rich. Otherwise I would not recommend this amount of money on a headset unless you are a high end producer or make a living off djing. Most people I believe by it for a fashion statement. You know, "look I got a pair of headphones that Dre made!" Cool. But definately not worth the price in my opinion; especially when I can spend $5 dollars on a crumby set of earphones which does LITERALLY the exact same thing. Play music...

Angry Birds / Attack of the Alfred HItchcock films!

Angry birds is sweeping nations like an Albert Hitchcock flick! Sales are rapidly increasing on this Iphone app, mini game. A groundbreaking $70 million dollars have been generated and collected off sales by the author of this simple, yet absorbingly creative game. It appeals to all genders and ages I suppose. The colours and animations are smooth. The physics and soundtracks are quite catchy and appealing. Is the game worth $70 million dollars... Come on now. It's called angry birds. But if millions of people enjoy it and are buying it, well excellent job, and very well done!

Just a quick summary of the game play...
The objective of the game is to launch various types of birds through a slingshot/catapult and try to smash into as many objects as possible while wreaking havoc on these trippy green apple dudes?

You can beak bash them head on, or have pieces of foundation tumble down on them to destroy your target and gain points. Bonus points are rewarded for certain collateral damages and physic based attacks to achieve victory.

Speaking of physics; for a two-dimensional game the flow and animations of moving objects are very impressive. It is intriguing to see how much effort was put into the realsim of physics in the game, it really is quite flattering. Cool, but very simple game. Check out the hype for yourself, go out and buy it if you like throwing birds at stuff.

Are the Toronto Maple Leafs Making The Playoffs?

So; after a long hard day of working in construction you sit down and crack open a six pack to share with your buddies. Or, after a strenuous day at the office you sit down with a group of friends and engage in a conversation while sipping on some coffee.

If you are a resident in the city of Toronto and follow sports. It is completely inevitable that during a social gathering this famous question will pop up... "Are the Leafs going to make the playoffs this year or what!?"

Well, well, well... Lets look at some statistics, eh buddy? I know as well as you that we are both sharing the same pain, agony and suffering when it comes to this organization. Torontonians have been gritting their teeth, punching their Maple Leaf decored pillows and ripping up news papers ever since the lockout in 2004. Since a year before that; and so on and so on and sooooo onnnnnn. The Leafs have not made the playoffs. Lockout jinx? Or just poor changes in coaching and management?

In my opinion firing Pat Quinn was a huge mistake. It seems the Leafs just kept falling, like the seasons in autumn I suppose; from that point on. Pat Quinn was an awesome coach. He has always taken the Maple Leafs to the playoffs prior to that one year before the lockout. Also, he won a gold medal for team Canada, just before the final years of his career as a Toronto Maple Leaf coach. So the guy doesn't make the playoffs for you ONE year out of how many he has brought the team into a good position to compete. And they fire the guy. Poor management indeed, just look at the ripple effect the Leafs are suffering now. Year after year they just cannot seem to make the playoffs.

Not to sound too negative. I am hoping the best for the Leafs. I literally cannot wait to see another playoff game with a blue and white Leaf jersey skating around the ice. I hope they do make it to the playoffs; it would be awesome for our whole city! But. BUT... if they don't I am pretty sure most Leaf fans will not be suprised. They always seem to sell out the arenas, always seem to get away with overpriced ticket sales and of course; always seem to get away with not making the playoffs. The team seems alot faster, more offensive and productive. Our offensive lines are more exciting to watch. There is more speed, versatility and shots on goal. It seems the team has more "finess," so to say with younger talents like Mc Arthur and Kadri. Kessel is finally kicking in and it looks like we are doing so-so right now.

The team started off amazing as usual, heck, we even were in first place of our division for a while. But sure enough, after some very impressive performances. The Leafs started losing again and have went from first place in the division to another grinding, nitty gritty, fighting for the playoffs spot. I really hope they can prove to us blood thirsty fans that they can make the playoffs. They know how much the sport means to Canadians and maybe that applies unessecary pressure. Just a little message to our team players out there. Do the best you can, be yourselves, and try to ignore"us," the fans. And the media as much as possible. You're professional hockey players. We assume you can play hockey.

Italian cruise ship disaster/tragedy. So close to land...

So close to land...

A captain always goes down with his ship. Well, not in this case, as the captain for the Costa Concordia abandoned ship. He also abandoned the members of his crew and the citizens aboard his vessel.

So far eleven people are dead and twenty-one are currently missing.

This is a great tragedy; my heart goes out to all the members and passangers that were aboard this ship. My heart also goes out to the captain. Even though he is being greatly accused for being a coward he IS only human. Stress factors, situational emotional response and other psychological survival instincts were most likely factors of his decisions. Don't get me wrong. I highly disagree with his choices of leaving his boat abandoned with hopeless passengers in it. I do find him extremely stupid and dishonorable for not at least trying to help as much as he can to save lives. After all they were for most part his responsiblity. But accidents happen everyday and I am sure it was the least of his intentions... No different from a car crash; tragedies do happen, for all sorts of bizarre reasons...

I pity the fact that he alone could have made a huge difference in saving lives in this situation. He was supposed to; and probably had the best capabilities to, guide and intiate emergency evacuation proceedures. Or to try and guide survivors out individually even. To set proper escape routes and maintain a specific survival and retreat command could have made a vast difference on the lives of those who died and are missing. Guidance was a big factor here, he had crew members to follow orders. It is a massive responsibilty and I cannot say much for different people react to a situation differently. All I can say is this is a very tragic event and at most part I find it frustrating and shamefully rediculous how close the boat was to land and how easy an evacuation could have been compared to a "Titanic," situation where they were in the middle of a freezing ocean. Very very sad... I pray for all those who were involved in this unfortunate occasion.

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

* Unique movie; storyline is very unexpected compared to the title.
*Contains scenes of graphic abuse and violence ( Extremely violent sexual abuse).
*Acting is superb.
* Stands out from your average movie.
* Nice flow throughout the movie, can be a bit long approx two hours and thirty minutes in duration.

* Some parts are a bit slow and leave you a bit clumsy as to where the story will turn.
* Worth watching in theatres.But special effects and action scenes aren't a stand alone trait in this film.

This movie has controversial scenes. Such as the violent rape scene and perverse, very violent images displayed in the movie. The actress who played the "Girl with the dragon tattoo," herself. Has been interviewed numerous times by many well known establishments as to what she felt was appropriate and how she felt during the production of such a disturbing violent scene.

People are painfully aware that horrible things like this do take place in this world. But whether or not it should be shown so vividly and realistically is a debatable argument. It is good to bring about awareness to these matters. I guess most of the controversy revolves around the fact of the matter that it may or may not have had to be shown so lucidly; or even in a movie at all for that matter.

New Golden Eye 007 For Xbox 360!

The revolution of FPS games has finally evolved
and made its way to a revamped, re-rendered,
better looking and more interactive game for the Xbox360 console.

Fans of the original Golden Eye will definitely be drawn into the games single player because it has a very classic and old school Golden Eye feel.

The graphics and physics are however quite disappointing considering it has been remade onto a higher tier gaming platform. With the power of an X-Box 360 the rag doll and physics are very lack luster. Multiplayer seems as though this is a port from Nintendo 64 to an original Xbox gaming system, and yes, when I mean original I mean NOT the 360 version of X-box. That's how horrible the graphics are in split screen. However, I have to give a considerable amount of credit to the game designers for implementing a 4 player split screen, offline, capability. I truly believe the fun factor died in video games once they turned to on-line console gaming, turning a video-game into more of a competition. Games are supposed to be fun, not made extremely stress full trying to climb a leader board ladder. Anyways, the Golden Eye concept is dead on, the problem is its TOO dead on to a point where you literally feel like you're playing the very first Golden Eye for the Nintendo 64.

If you are a true fan of Golden Eye FPS games, I recommend buying it. But you have to be a die hard fan to want to actually play through the game and not want to take the disc out and pop in Battlefield 3. For single player, I'd say the game is worth the money. Offline, split screen functionality, gives a great and personal feeling playing with friends. I literally thought the multiplayer was garbage until we started making our own rules and mini games inside levels that gave a creative edge and more of a fun factor. I'm not sure.. maybe I am being a little too harsh on the game, but for some reason I was compelled to play it and got a couple kicks playing single and multiplayer. So if you have a little extra cash or you and your buddies wanna go splits on a copy. Go for it, it's also a great collectors item and go go go offline split screen gaming! Bring it back people!!!

Death To BlockBuster!?

Nooooooooooo!!! Why oh why Netflix and internet pirates. I understand there has been a great leap in technology; but Blockbuster has been with me my whole life... Ugh I am disappointed and sad, probably like most Canadians are. This is just another fine example of how great technology really is for us; right people don't make it a day to go out with family and friends, rent a movie, and enjoy a nice little flick while eating popcorn and laying like a sloth watching a movie rental from Blockbuster. Oh the memories... Well I would like to run a poll on this because I am sure alot of Canadians in my generation have grown up adoring this blue and yellow sign. Movies will never be the same, even though I paid a rediculous amount of "Late Return Fees," the hastle was well worth it.

So; movie lovers what do ya think!? How do you feel about or fellow Blockbuster stores being shut down?

Canada Vs Russia Juniors

The golden boys have lost their carats this year...

Canada and Russia, the juggernaughts of hockey; A history of legendary hockey and respectable rivalries lay deep within each countries jersey.

A much anticipated game etched lines and chips on the ice of the stadium where Russian and Canadian junior players hustled for a gold medal. The skates were kicking, the ice was cracking and the fans were in a state of athletic tranquility. Top tier junior hockey players battleing it out in the rink enevitably caused some post game controversy and a stir of emotions across Russian and Canadian hockey fans.

The final score 6-5 Russia.

Highly respectable hockey team, well deserved win. (Period)

Aside from a few judgements on Canada's goaltending, the game was action packed and both teams were playing competitive hockey.

Alot of Canadian fans are obviously upset due to the loss; but any form of hostility towards the Russian hockey team is greatly inappropriate. Canada still holds the most gold medals in hockey; yes we are known for our formidable hockey teams, but also you cannot expect to win a gold every single year it is highly unlikely. Canada's hockey team does have an insane reputation for being one of the best in the sport but USA, Russia, and Sweden are just a few other renowned good teams. Should Canadians be upset, well; not really, it definately sucks to not take home a gold medal. But we should be proud of other teams that have the opportunity to win it when we lose. After all a sport isnt a sport without competition and Canadians just have to learn to accept a loss sometimes. Partially due to the fact that we are so used to being successful in hockey it may make it hard to take a loss once in a while.

Mad respect to the Russian hockey team, Canada i`m still very proud of our team and kudos to a good game played by both countries!

Tactics for Super Smash Bros Brawl WII

Character tactics
Snake: Unlocked after playing the metal gear stage approx 10-15 times in brawl mode.
Snake is an excellent "tactical character," he definitely adds an edge to the new ssbb series.
DPAD UP + SMASH is an excellent flee move where snake grabs hold of a drone and flies away. effective for getting back from ledges or even dodge most characters supers. If bowser is in his super mode, I tend to run to a ledge and hang off the ledge of the stage for a while. It buys time and makes it difficult for the enlarged super characters to hit you until their super wears off.

HOLD SMASH button without direction to unpin a grenade. Time the length of how long you hold it to keep characters a distance or at bay.

Nikita missiles : (FORWARD + SMASH) can be cancelled by pressing the block button where the rocket will stop in its track and fall similar to a dud, it still explodes and causes damage. which is excellent for dropping immobile "missile bombs" on your opponent, during the cancellation your character than becomes mobile again.

Remote mines : ( DOWN + SMASH) can be combined with land mines (DOWN + ATTACK) to make a huge explosion and deal massive damage if a character goes within the vicinity. Whether it is trigger by remote detonation or someone steps into the radius of the proximity mine.

Constantly struggling, but for some reason its always well worth it.

A cycle or a system, biological prisons?
Freedom is in spirit, A life told through visions.
Pain. The earths soil is constantly crying.
People being born, people dieing, were constantly dividing.

Selfish in our own morals. But life is no quarrel.
Good and evil, theyre both filled with sorrows.
