Last weekend we went in Turin. It was a job trip but we went anyway to Royale Palace and Palazzo Madama in the center of the city.The Royal Palace of Turin is a historic palace of the House of Savoy in the city of Turin in Northern Italy. It was originally built in the 16th century and was later modernized by Christine Marie of France in the 17th century, with designs by the Baroque architect Filippo Juvarra. The palace also includes the Palazzo Chiablese and the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, the latter of which was built to house the famous Shroud of Turin. In 1946, the building became the property of the state and was turned into a museum. In 1997, it was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list along with 13 other residences of the House of Savoy.

Last weekend I went to Milano for a job trip. I discover a special artist's exibistion in a famous shop in the center of Milan: Max Mara. She is a magical artist that creates intricate, immersive scenes from the most humble of materials, carving monumental forests and architectural scapes. The French artist works predominantly with cardboard. I was impressed and fascinated by the power of his work.

BOSCO VERTICALE

Last weekend I went to Milan for a visit whit my family. It was too cold to visit the city without freezing, but we want anyway to the City Life Zone to see the Bosco Verticale Building. The Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) is a complex of two residential skyscrapers designed by Boeri Studio. They have a height of 116 metres (381 ft) and 84 m (276 ft) and within the complex is an 11-storey office building. We like them because despite it is winter we felt his presence full of life, of dry leaves and branches full of sleeping nature...

The distinctive feature of the skyscrapers, both inaugurated in 2014, is the presence of over two thousand tree species, including tall shrubs and trees, distributed on the facades. It is an ambitious project of metropolitan reforestation that aims to increase the biodiversity of plant and animal species in the Lombard capital through vertical greening, reducing urban sprawl and contributing to the mitigation of the microclimate. The Bosco Verticale has received recognition in the architectural community, winning numerous awards. In addition to the International Highrise Award in 2014, it was acknowledged by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat as the "most beautiful and innovative skyscraper in the world" in 2015 and as one of the "fifty most iconic skyscrapers in the world" in 2019. The prototype of the Milanese project will be replicated in other cities.

This is a picture from the trip We made in june, the buiding was full of leaves, full of live. Nobody must say tha Milan is not green :-)

Today is the International Women's Day. I'm tired. Too many things to do, to think and my brain is full. I see a world still full of injustice and hypocrisy. We celebrate women and then we have to be beautiful, good, have children, look after them, work all day and still be underpaid. The figure of the woman is still lower than that of the man, despite her power, resistance to physical pain, management of crazy hormones. In many countries we are just objects to be collected, enslaved, beaten and killed. I wish this celebration didn't exist, I wish there wasn't a need. Please celebrate us every day. I would like a word of free people, equal right for everybody and peace.

It has been 8 years since I took the break. I took all the time I needed time to take care of of my two adorable little children, who are now two very sweet giants. This blog was born to give me the opportunity to feel free to express myself and be updated on the world's news, the beautiful ones. Some of the best photographs in color make no attempt to utilize the entire available palette. A splash of just one hue can crystalize a moment or a mood in a way that a full spectrum often cannot. Sometimes black and white photography simplifies a chaotic world, stripping away distractions to focus on the subjects at hand. This isn’t necessarily true all the time, and there are many reasons for creating images in black and white. The monochrome image as well gives photographers that same distillation of intent that black and white can achieve, and still allows for the vibrant saturation of real life. In these days I'm tired, three months have passed and my little girl still cries often. The causes are: stomach ache, stuffy nose, sleepiness ... and what else I don't know, but I want to understand it and solve the problem immediately (impossible! There isn't a manual). Babies are small fish, they can only crying to communicate, so I try to do my best.I find myself lost, sitting on the couch for a endless time, to feed her, here's my favorite pastime: the app. Thanks to those who invented them because I can't read a book with my baby between my arms :-) Studio and Instagram are my favourite, I kept the moment when she is happy!
