To be fair tho, a lot of you actually make _some_ effort to post something interesting the comments, but you should see some of the stuff i dont let thru hah.

Downside to that is then i proabbly won’t get any traffic at all! lol

After 4 long months of knowing that i was to be made redundant, last week it finally happened. I recieved an update phone call from the stupid CIO of the company (I wish to nominate said SIO as the worst manager in the history of everything btw) and he said, “it’s happening today”. Thanks for the kind words, you twat.

So my last day at the company i had been at for the last 7 years was Friday the 5th of February 2010. I was sad to leave but also a teeny bit excited. I have a huge offline business venture that had been not getting enough of my time, and also I really want to put a whole lot more effort into my IM work.

The last couple of months have actually been rather shit for me. I have lost my house, my job and finally my girlfriend of 5 years decided to leave me too. Woe is me. My new house has no internet and looks like it wont be getting any very soon (out of ports at the exchange gah!) so i have moved my PC into the office space above the warehouse where my offline business is! It’s a great spot and i’m hoping that it will keep me in the working frame of mind as i really struggle to work from home. (Massive layabout, smelly dog, dindgy computer room).

So! Big changes for me! No job, new office, room full of boxes so i can hardly get to my bed, no girlfriend, big fat redundancy check. Hmmm. I hope to keep this blog more updated as i start my new journey!

Yep, how sad. It didnt even really feel like a holiday tbh. Wake up, eat some ham, get drunk, eat cheese. Repeat for 14 days. I guess I need to get back into work mode, little work was done at all over the last couple of weeks and I am still in super lazy ham overdose mode. Luckily for me I have many tools that automate a lot of the super boring stuff like bookmarking and backlinking etc. So really in order to get off my arse and do some stuff doesnt actually take all that much work. So i guess i should do that now.

I’ve been talking about getting into CPA for quite a while now as ClickBank is giving me the shits lately. I have actually launched a product nearly 2 months ago now that is not doing as well as i had hoped just yet, but that is another post.

A couple of weeks ago i applied to a relatively small CPA network (won’t say who just yet) that was recommended to me by a forum member and promptly forgot about it. I did however apply properly and even setup a site with some simple CJ offers on it.  About a week ago i got an email from the AM there asking me to give him a call. This was a bonus as usually they like to call you at 3am in the morning (i live in Australia), unless you call them first.

So i chatted to the dude and answered all the usual questions (had to fib a teeny bit but yanno) and after about 5 mins of chatting i was approved and logged in checking out some offers.  10 mins later i was pretending to be an 18 year old girl on facebook, but that is too much work (and another post if you’re interested lol) so i changed my tactics. 2 more mins later i had created a new yahoo answers profile and asked some questions.

Now, I have several YA accounts, 1 level 3 and 3 level 2 and a but load of level 1′s.  I’m sure you are all aware of how simple this marketing “tactic” is and i have used to extensively for promoting CB products, however CPA lead conversions seem to be far easier.

The top 3 offers were some dating shenanigans i was facebooking about the place, can’t be stuffed with that it takes too much effort. The bottom 2 are the same offer, but the bottom one is the auto redirect international offer for non-us traffic. Yahoo Answers took literally 5 mins and check that out from 1 answer (which is now voted as best answer not even by me!). This seems to be getting quite a bit of search traffic too as YA is first result in google and mine is the second of the sub results under that. Easy.

Will keep this up i think for a while and see what stats i get.

So it seems like i just dont have the work ethic to keep posting hah. and for the 50 odd people a day that visit the site and the 20 odd people reading this via RSS, i do appologize.

However, i think i’m about to get made redundant from my day job, so soon will have more time for this (and my millions of others) blog.

I have been very very quiet on here lately haven’t I. I know i keep promising i wont be so i am sorry!

Well i have finally launched a product on ClickBank! Hoorah!! It took me 18 months to get off my ass and do it and now it’s done i have several more in production! Hopefully they will all turn out to be good ones.

I won’t reveal the domain here as i do not want it to get crawled. It is a health related ebook. Affiliate recruiting has begun and they (about 40 so far) are starting to send a good amount of hops, but the traffic seems pretty useless so far. India is right up there with the top source of traffic.

It launched on the 6th of October, here are some stats:

Today i received a note from my hosting guys saying that my account is using too many resources so all my sites are running like crap! good timing! Note the large drop off in hops today. Gah! I canned a ton of CRON jobs to get back under the limit, things have started to run better now.

It is hard work trying to get affiliates to pick this up. I guess they look at the gravity for an indication of how it is going. I might need to fudge the stats a tad to get a few more on board.

You probably have noticed little to no action on the old blog lately. I have been taking a small break from IM and blog posting in general for a little while as I was spreading myself a little too thin. Rest assured however I am still here and am now working on some new stuff. Some of the older stuff i was working on i decided was not worth my time so they are on the back burner. I have a few new product ideas and have teamed up with some great writers and graphics guys so things should start getting more interesting soon enough.

Mentalists. Just wanted to point out just how much the SERPs move around. I can do an update in 10 minutes and it could be different again.

A few posts ago I had a bit of a fit about SENuke. It is pretty fantastic and i think you should check it out. I am running a few campaigns using it and seeing very nice results. I thought i would create a campaign and do absolutely nothing to it after the initial Nuking.

Here we are almost 1 month later (only a few days short) and i’ll show you the stats for the wordpress blog that is somewhere in the middle of the link network.

Check it out! Now i promise you i have done nothing since the initial setup. That was this site, a few others (this didnt end up being a wheel as i lost the passwords to the other sites!) and some social bookmarking and rss feed submissions etc.

I chose a “doable” keyword for this and it is ranking top 3. I would have liked to see more traffic but obviously the keyword was not the best choice. However i will develop some landers on here for other keywords and see how it goes. It is selling a ClickBank product that pays $30. I have made 1 sale! huhuh. 1 sale you say, not very much you say. Well this did take me about 2 minutes to setup and let me remind you again, i did no extra work on it since. Imagine what happens when you put the effort in!

This one i started several days before hand and have put some more work into it. The traffic is fairly erratic as its coming mostly from regular article submissions. Yesterday an article was live on ezines so that’s where most of that came from. I have made quite a few more sales with this and it is slowly creeping up the SERPs.

So there you go. This has all been made possible because of SENuke. The time taken would have literally been hours and hours for these two, but i would estimate i spent max 10 mins on the first one (got a little excited earlier ) and about 1 hour total on the second. This is not including submission time as that can take 20 mins for a large network of sites.

I installed this plugin from Gigya. Seems pretty good so far. Was fairly simple to setup tho I am sure there are easier implementations of it. It allows anyone to login and comment on the blog with any of their social networking accounts. Twitter, FaceBook, MySpace etc.
