Welcome to mimoZine Issue #6, bringing you the heat from the street.

In or latest issue, the mimoZine team have traveled far and wide to bring you the best in Summer info-tainment.

Our seasonal program starts with an exploration of the phenomenon behind "The Room" - one of our favorite best, worst movies! If you haven't seen it- shame on you, but we're here for you with a video of Wiseau-ian proportions.

Also in our summer session we have an insightful... or should say inciteful sitdown between the Super Sucklord and the crew from Kidrobot. Plus we have an exclusive interview with David Horvath - Ugly Doll and Bossy Bear creator. Rounding out the issue we have a preview of some of the things we have in the works for upcoming issue.

mimoZine issue 6 - The Room

The Room (www.theroommovie.com/) by Tommy Wiseau, has been called many things: a travesty, inspired awfulness, genius. But in reality, The Room defies description. It can be found everywhere these days from Fox News to Tim & Eric on Adult Swim. People can't seem to stop getting enough of this amazing cinematic achievement.

It has inspired a loyal following (bordering on fanaticism), and has been playing to rowdy & rabid sold-out midnight screenings for over 5 years. In this digital age, The Room is a unique analog film experience, bringing its die-hard legion of fans out to movie theaters across the country for monthly midnight screenings.

Fans ourselves, we set out to explore the phenomenon with our own senseless sensibilities. We talked to Michael Rousselet (5secondfilms.com) the man-boy screenwriter credited with 'discovering' The Room, and providing today's generation its very own Rocky Horror Picture Show. We also met with actor Greg Sestero (famous for playing "Marc" in the movie) who gave us an inside perspective on the making of The Room.

mimoZine issue 6 - Horvath

MimoZine sat down with Uglydoll http://www.uglydolls.com and Bossy Bear creator, and the latest MIMOBOT Artist Series collaborator, David Horvath http://davidhorvath.blogspot.com/

Sitting on a comfy chair in Santa Monica children's bookstore, Every Picture Tells a Story http://www.everypicture.com seemed to bring out the warm and fuzzy in Horvath. It was the perfect way to get to know the toy and storybook creator, and his newest character creation, blue egocentric Bossy Bear!
