New Years Recap

2011-01-05T11:32:00.000-08:00

Hellooo dolls..

Its been a while since I have updated my blog, def missed writing on it. Hope all you had a great Holiday and New Years. As for me I have been on & off this cold of mine. Weather in Jersey has been crazy lately. We got the craziest blizzard after Christmas, like wow, never seen so much snow.
* Pic of my parents backyard*

Once we were able to leave the house, we visited my inlaws. I love my mom in law, she got me my UGGS and a Calvin Klein coat. Loved it!
I have got to say that this Christmas I recieved alot of sweaters, pjs, and winter wear, which was exactly what I needed.

My New Years was spent with my brother and sister and a few friends at a club at Queens called "La Boom". Had a good time, danced a lot and sipped a few drinks. Plus finally got to wear my H&M cheetah dress.

I'm starting on my resolutions for this year. Def hope to accomplish alot of my goals as far as my blog, fashion designing and finishing up school, and like everyone shed that holiday weight.

Happy Holidays!!

Weekend Agenda:

This weekend I would love nothing more then to stay home and be in bed allll day but like every week their are things to do.

One of the things I would like to go in search for is fabric. I can't wait to start sewing and making my own garmets. I plan to make my own Christmas outfit.

For the nightlife this weekend I have a kids party to attend to, for one of my best friends sisters. So I will be headed to Queens this Saturday.
Sunday as usual I spend with my mom at her house all together to have dinner.
Hope you all have a great weekend! I'd love to hear how you are all spending your weekends and where you are shopping at. Still undecided as to what to get my Mother in Law, open to suggestions??

Ohh Christmas Tree, Ohh Christmas tree.

2010-12-06T11:10:00.000-08:00

Hey my dear bloggers,

I've been so sick this past weekend with a cold, so didn't really do much but sleep and watch tv. Finally got to watch True Blood, & I got to say I'm addicted. I liked spending time indoors for a change & by the looks of the weather I might be doing that more often. Temperature has been to low (30's-40's) to do anything. But yesterday we went with my mom & dad to pick up our trees. We spent yesterday afternoon, decorating and getting into the Christmas spirit.
Decided to buy a natural tree and go for the traditional Christmas colors.

I really hope to go and buy fabric this weekend to start sewing on my machine.

Shop Online

2010-12-02T06:30:00.000-08:00

Just checked out a new website much like hautelook.com, its called beyondtherack.com

Name brand stuff marked down from original price.

Lately I havn't been doing any shopping, just been saving up to do some major shopping in the upcoming weeks, mostly Christmas shopping for others. This weekend we are gonna go buy our Christmas tree, so looking forward in decorating it. Look for that on Monday.

Happy shopping.

2010-11-29T05:43:00.000-08:00

Helloo,
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day, as for me I spent it with family.
Already the end of November and time to start the Christmas shopping again..
Today is Cyber Monday, best day for shopping for online sales. Hopefully I get a few goodies. Victoria secret got up to 70% off on select items. Target has great discounts as well. Old navy got the $7 fleece sale, if your looking for stuff to keep you warm. I will be in search of a laptop, so I'm off to Amazon.com to see what kind a deal I can find & then off to register for another semester at college.. excited to be going back after a long summer break.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

2010-11-24T13:21:00.000-08:00

I want to take this time to wish all of you A Happy Thanksgiving..

I am very thankful for having such a great family and by being surrounded by great friends.

Yesterday my hubby took me out for my birthday, it has been a very long time since me & him have spent time alone so it was refreshing to spend some time together. He took me to eat dinner at Chevys, and then hit the bar at Famous Dave's for Happy Hour, then went to catch Jackass 3D (disgusting), after the movie we weren't sleepy yet so we took the chance to go to Dave & Busters and have some fun with the arcade games. Over all had a good time. For my birthday I was given a diamond key necklace and a sewing machine, which I wanted so bad. I was very happy and excited to have gotten so lucky.
Tipsy pic

Purchased this lipstick that I been wanting since it came out, love the color!

Tomorrow for Thanksgiving I'm off to the Macy's parade, and then ice skating.

The presentation was open-to-the-public,& was described as an outdoor "collision of fashion, art, and technology" on the corner of East 72nd Street and Madison Avenue.
The ten-minute presentation will also incorporate Smell-o-Vision-style scent mistings. Wish I could of been their to experience it all 1st hand. Check out the video below & leave your comments below.. Have a great weekend!!

Busy &Crzy weekend..

2010-11-09T09:08:00.000-08:00

Hello again to all of you.. Hope you had a better weekend then I did.

Where to begin.
Saturday I spent the day with my sister and son shopping in the city, mostly for all the party supplies for my son's birthday, which is next weekend..I'm running short on time, but I guess I work better under pressure.

I went to Party City & bought the invitations, a few decorations, and then somehow ended up in Old Navy, took advantage of the 50% off jackets sale, and bought a yellow coat. My jacket is so bright & I love it. Check them out online. www.oldnavy.com sale still going on.

To my surprise when I arrived home my kitchen was full of water due to a pipe burst in my kitchen ceiling.. Finding a plumber on a Saturday nite was a mission, but luckily got 1 and they welded away. Hoping today the ceiling gets patched back up.

Sunday I spent it in my mothers house watching movies. We watched Inception, and Twelve. Both great movies, check those out.

Well that was my weekend, I'll update you guys on the party planning, along with my birthday plans, turning 23 on Nov 23.. yay!

KUWTK addiction...

2010-11-05T05:40:00.000-07:00

Helloo my dear viewers..

Today's post is about 1 of my many addictions.. Keeping Up with the Kardashians..
I honestly can't get enough of them. I been watching all the seasons on netflixs along with the newer episodes on E!, can't wait for the new season when Kim and Kourtney take NYC. Kardashians in general are great entrepreneurs. Along with their chain Dash stores, Bebe fashion line, Quick Trim products, Perfect skin, perfume & book Kardashian Konfidential (which i will be buying). They are great inspiration to me and my sister. We are planning a trip to the new Dash store hopefully soon.

Along with the show that I love its their sense of Style. I don't have a specific favorite since I love their style in general. Here are a few pics of their stylish outfits.

Kourtney- Not only can I relate to her in so many ways but her style is so natural, different & classy.p.s. Hubby loves how Scott dress too, he is changing up his style to look a Lil more like his. lol

Kim- Is undeniably sexy.. I would kill to have them curves & that exotic look.

Khloe- Sexy wifey. Love her confidence, and personality. She embraces her curves and height, she is a great role model.

Hello my dear followers,

Me n Hubby have been discussing to dress up as a pair this halloween. But rather buy them I rather make them if time allows me.. I went straight to youtube to see what they had to offer, gladly I came across GiannyL, I have been subscribed to her videos for a while now. Love her creativity and her easy D.I.Y clothes. Check out a video of hers below.

What are you guys considering dressing up as?

2010-10-06T09:16:00.000-07:00

Good Afternoon to all.

I'm here about to dig into a delicious cesar salad wrap via work. :) I have been so sick due to all this crzy weather we been having here but trying to get back in the rhythm of blogging. Today I decided to take you on a tour of the place I'm at Mon-Friday 8-5, My Job!

I work in a trucking company, my title is operations manager, I set up appointments, do payroll, and even a little bit of billing & yes it does get crzy at times. I am the 2nd female in the company, everyone else men, so we def gotta set up our game.

"My desk" where I spent most of the time, answering phones, typing info and youtubing, facebook surfing.

Second angle of my desk, lots of orders, but trust me this is nuthing usually thier is way more.

The wall of shame, all pics from past halloweens and company events.

All I do is for my lil man. Can't believe he will be 2yrs old in November, super excited about his party

October = Halloween Madness

2010-10-01T06:49:00.001-07:00

Halloween, one of my favorite holiday's. I already can't wait to start making my costume and taking Chris trick-o-treating. This year I am planning to make my own costume. I really have been captivated by the idea of Poison Ivy this year. I love the red hair and sexy green combo. For Chris I'm thinking lil vampire.
What are you dressing up as?????

Really can't wait. I havn't really been shopping or buying any cosmetics lately, ever since the whole move. Starting next month I am thinking about making my blog bilingual (spanish) I would like to reach out to my hispanic community.

Below are more pics from the birthday weekend with a few close friends.

My sis, bro, crystal, maribel, carlos, hubby & me

Something about this pic I love, like I feel the love.
