Milani Cosmetics makes fab beauty products. Milani baked blush Luminoso is a nearly exact dupe of Nars Orgasm and is oh so pretty. I love Milani baked powder blush and the price is great. These come in cute little compacts and my favorite part is the bottom compartment that holds a brush and mirror. I got Luminoso for $6.37 compared to Nars Orgasm’s price of $29!

I love, love, love my Dior Diorshow Mascara but really wanted to find a frugal alternative. In walks L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara. I find that these are kin as the wand, volume and results are nearly the same. I do notice L’Oreal Voluminous texture has more liquidity but I actually find it easier to apply without flaking because of it and once it dries the outcome is the same. I snagged this for $4.00 with a Buy 1 Get 1 at 50% off deal on all L’Oreal products. Diorshow Mascara retails for about $25.

Yves Saint Luarent how I adore thee but L’Oreal Paris is on your heels! L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain are great dupes for YSL Gloss Stain. But that’s not a shocker as they are “family”. The color isn’t as pigmented but is buildable to your desire and once they dry are pretty much identical. The L’Oreal packaging is where you definitely notice the difference. While cute, it picks up smudgy fingerprints like nobody’s business! A minor sacrifice for saving dollars in my opinion, bring on the smudgy casing! I grabbed L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Infinite Fuchsia, Endless Red and Coral Tattoo. Gorgeous! Two were $9.99 each and 1 was $5 from the BOGO 50% off deal. YSL Gloss Stain is $34!

A fan of cream shadow are you? Well you should definitely check out Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow. These are creamy shadows with gorge colors suitable for so many skin tones for just $5.59 each. They’re stated to have 24 hour staying power but I’ve never tried to wear them that long so I can only vouch for 14 hours of wear. I picked up 5, one being from the more recent Metal release of Color Tattoo.

Inked In Pink is a nice alternative for Stila Kitten ($20). Edgy Emerald is a gorgeous shimmery teal and a close dupe if you’d like MAC Aquadisiac ($15) with a cream texture. Pomegranate Punk is a good dupe of Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Stiletto ($19). Audacious Asphalt is one I’m sure to use a lot! It’s a close but slighty lighter match for Makeup For Ever Aqua Shadow 1 – Anthracite ($23) and I heard it’s similar in color to an eyeshadow by Inglot. Fierce & Tangy is my favorite, such a beautiful orange! It’s not an an exact dupe but a nice alternative for Makeup For Every 10 – Golden Tangerine Sheen ($23). There are probably other dupes in this collection so it’s definitely worth checking out these and the other shades available.

#SpringIntoSummer June Giveaway | OFRA Cosmetics Skin Care Bundle

I have been quite a stalker fan of The Makeup Wars, amazing posts by some of my favorite beauty blogger friends. I am super duper honored and thankful to be the guest poster for this week! This edition of The Makeup Wars is all about favorite summer eye looks and I’m excited to share my faves with you darlings!

I usually like to keep my eyes light, simple and fresh but this year I’ve begun to jump out of my comfort zone a bit…well maybe a lot! This summer I’m all about bright, bold eyes. I’m really fawning over exciting colors like orange, pink, various blues and green…the brighter the better! Vivid colors feel fun and adventurous like summer should be. Here is one of my favorite bright summer eye looks.

This was so fun to create and actually really quick. If you use eyeshadow that is crazy pigmented this is a look you can do in under 5 minutes! To create this look I used pink, orange and blue eyeshadow from my OFRA Cosmetics Bright Addiction palette. If your eyeshadow color payoff isn’t as rich as you want it, try using a light base color or try the foil method. This is definitely one of my favorite summer eye looks for fun, sunny days!

Another of my favorite summer eye looks is a mixture of my typical daytime eye makeup with a bright pop of color. Gold eyeshadow is an everyday thing for me all year round and I usually like a bit of black, grey or bronze at the outer corner and crease. I usually use my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette but almost any neutral/nude palette will do, you can make it work! What I’m loving lately is adding a random pop of color on the lid. In this look I used a pretty teal that reminded of my trip to Turkey years ago. This look is very wearable and if you work in an office you could always just apply with a light hand. Then touch it up with a bit of black eyeshadow on the outer corner and blend into the crease for a gorge night time look.

Even though I love the brights for summer eye looks this year, I still have my laid back moments! I like to do the simplest makeup possible…just one color on the lids. Usually a pastel color like lavender or pink and I sweep the shadow upward with a blending brush. For me this comes in handy for picnics, running errands, shopping, etc. It’s quick, cute and anyone can do it!

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a huge battle with ridiculously dry, chapped lips. Seasonal issue? Ha! My lips don’t discriminate! Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter…bring on the chapped pout. Just like the skin on our bodies, our lips need exfoliation when they get chapped. A fresh start if you will. Many lip scrubs are too abrasive for me and to be quite frank, I’m sometimes too lazy to formulate a homemade solution as often as I’d need it. I love that it is in the form of a lipstick because this is something familiar and easy for me so it fits in perfectly with my routine. I didn’t go all oh-em-gee over this necklace but I do really like it. It is dainty, just like me! I love the circles, I love that it’s sterling silver and I love that even with it being gloriously long, it is very light weight! The price for the Sterling Silver Circle Chain Necklace by Charlene K may seem a bit steep at $140 retail ($112 for Rocksbox members) but I really like this piece.

I was beyond delighted to see that the buzz about getting full sized Zoya from the Spring collection was true! My glambag included Blu from the Zoya Lovely Spring 2013 collection. I’m a huge Zoya fan and Blu looks like a pretty pastel cream. It’s very pale but I’m excited to test it out. I’ll share swatches soon!

I do not have many Mirabella products, actually Ipsy (formerly MyGlam) introduced me to the brand. I received Pixie, a sheer coral lipstick. The color is very pretty and seems to compliment my skin tone well, as most corals do. Love coral! I’ll share lip swatches and a full review soon.

Yaby Concealer Refill

Yaby is another brand I don’t have a lot of. I think this is my 3rd or 4th item and all came from Ipsy. This month Ipsy provided concealer in the glambag. Many subscribers were questioning shade matching and Ipsy assured all that shades were based on our profiles. I’m glad to say mine was matched perfectly! I received Yaby Concealer Refill in Pecan, which finely blends with my tone. I tested it only for matching so I cannot comment on wear at all.

Pacifica has fabulous products that I adore. By the sneak peeks Ipsy posted on Facebook I was pretty convinced Pacifica Perfume Roll-on was for sure in glambags this month. I wasn’t sure I would get one but I really hoped plus crossed my fingers and toes! I normally am not a fan of most vanilla scents but this is pure bliss for my nose! Love it!

I’ve had my eye on Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadow, Zodiac to be specific. Also had Glitter Rock and Stargazer on my radar. Ipsy sent me Moonspoon as a bonus item. Score! Though this isn’t a shade I really had interest in, it is growing on me and will be a nice addition to my makeup stash. Also a great way to test out Moondust before grabbing the other shades!

Influenster sent me a complimentary jar of Aveeno® Positively RADIANT® Intensive Night Cream. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now so I’m reviewing it slightly earlier than I would most skin care items. I also received a sleep mask which I really liked but I’m not sure if it comes with the product or Influenster decided to include it themselves. Aveeno Active Naturals Intensive Night Cream claims to improve:

• Tone
• Dullness
• Brown Spots
• Texture
• Blotchiness

Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream, My View

Aveeno products always seem to be hit or miss for me and Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream seems to be hanging somewhere in the middle from my perspective. I don’t hate it nor do I love it. The packaging is nice, however the box is a bit of a space waster. What is pretty cool is the back of the box has a display that shows the actual size of the container, so consumers aren’t completely fooled by the box size. Kudos on that! I like the actual container quite a bit. The product comes in a nicely durable 1.7oz jar with a twist lid.
