My Thoughts:

Pros:

Conventional earbuds almost always irritate my ears at some point, especially if I wear them for extended periods. I found the CozyPhones headband to be very comfortable and the flat speakers did not irritate my ears. I was particularly impressed with the high-quality sound produced by the speakers. Another issue I have had in the past with regular earbuds is that they often fall out during exercise. Not an issue with the CozyPhones. In addition, the speakers can be removed so the headband can be washed.

Cons:

I really did not find any negatives with this product. The manufacturer may want to consider offering a wireless option which would be even more convenient for sleeping, exercising, etc.

Summary:

I would recommend this product to my readers and would purchase it as a gift. I can see kids really loving the cute, fleece designs. These headphones are perfect for exercising and offer a nice option for those who want to listen to music, meditation audios, etc. while lying down.

My Thoughts:

Pros:

This product has a very appealing and unique shape which works nicely with many decor styles. The mist feature is very quiet and doesn’t interfere with nearby conversations. It is very lightweight and definitely portable. The mood lights are calming and transition nicely from one color to another. The diffuser easily fills a small to medium sized space with scent. The automatic shut-off feature is a nice safety function.

Cons:

The mist function probably doesn’t produce enough output to really make a difference in the humidity of a room unless it is a very small room. Also, I found it difficult to access the water tank.

Summary:

Overall, I really liked this product. I wouldn’t buy it for its humidifier function, but would definitely purchase it for an aromatherapy diffuser. This product would work great in an office, bedroom, or exercise/meditation/yoga room. It would be a nice calming feature for massage therapists and counselors to use during treatment sessions. This would also be the perfect gift for those who love aromatherapy and essential oils.

(1) The decorating style used to create a seaside getaway is often referred to as beach, cottage, coastal, or nautical style. The foundation for this style is a calming white/neutral backdrop with white or off-white walls and furniture. A nice option for those of us who don’t want to buy all new furniture or aren’t so sure about how to incorporate family living with white furniture is to use washable white or off-white sofa and chair covers. This style is not stuffy or perfect, so you can be creative with the furniture covers and use ribbon, rope, and large safety pins to secure them.

(2) Use natural textures and elements such as rattan, wicker, jute, seagrass, sisal, burlap, and bamboo in floor covering/rugs and large accessories. Wall coverings are simple and often incorporate shadow boxes featuring seaside finds, distressed wood shutters, beadboard, and white-washed wooden planks. These natural textures are complemented by pops of bold colors in pillows, curtains, and tabletop accessories.

(3) Seaside living is easy, simple, and comfortable. It incorporates touches of unexpected textures, colors, and fabrics all tied together with a bit of whimsy (i.e. a round mirror or clock reminiscent of a ship porthole). A good place to start your seaside getaway transformation is in a bedroom, bathroom, entryway, or porch.

(4) Rustic and reclaimed objects look great in a seaside getaway and you can find these items at garage sales, antique stores, and salvage yards. Look for distressed or white-washed wood, rustic metal accessories, seashells, candles, rope, driftwood, sea/beach glass, woven baskets, metal bins, starfish, coral, and wooden crates.

(5) Lanterns or large glass jars filled with sand, seashells, flowers, candles, and/or sea glass make great accessories. Last but not least, the addition of anything boat-themed (oars, anchors, portal windows, etc.) makes any seaside getaway extra special.

Review of The Special Edition Holiday Box

I absolutely loved everything about the Try The World Holiday Gift Box! There is so much thought and care put into each detail. The packaging is lovely and would be a beautiful gift to give this holiday season. Each goodie in the box was something special and my guests and I enjoyed trying each item.

The Culture Guide featured insightful background about each product. My favorite story was that of the Sindyanna of Galilee Olive Oil which is grown and harvested by a cooperative of Arab and Jewish women in northern Isreal. The mission of the cooperative fosters unity in a territory whose ownership is contested by the very groups the company brings together.

Each item had an ingredient list in English. Many of the products were organic and/or produced using sustainable growing practices which is a huge plus for me.

I loved that the items were not only delicious and unique but also came from small or family-owned businesses and appeared to be created with great care. It really was a wonderful experience to be able to taste these gourmet delights and to share them with my family and friends. (Each item contained enough product to provide a sample taste to 4-6 people.)
