The good thing is that the speed is just like using Streamyx, I can't hardy tell the difference. If in KK area the speed is almost 1GBps, but of course in Papar it is only Edge/GPRS connection but it is still acceptable I guess better 4 times than normal dial up.

For RM100 free modem 1 year contract..rm88 per monthly fee.

I think that is a good deal.

Well, this is something that all car owners have to do once in a while - car service! Normally it is advised to service your car every 5000km or 3 months which ever come first but sometime I don't have the time or $$ to send my car for service. Luckily since we are still busy moving from the old workplace in Sembulan to Kuwasa + semester break, I managed to send my car for service last week.

For today's Big Match@Super Sunday, I hope Liverpool will at least draw with Man Utd. The worst scenario is Liv 0 - Man Utd 1 (Owen '90).

That will surely make all Liverpool fans feel the monday blues tomorrow.

A new cheap acer laptop for me!

After selling my old laptop and a few other electronic gadgets 2 weeks ago. I did managed to raise some cash to buy a new laptop.

First Try at buying Acer Laptop from Mudah.com.my
I called and sms a buyer that wanted to sell an acer 6920 with blu-ray disc player for RM2000. He agreed to meet me at KFC Karamunsing at around 6pm on that day. What happened? He did not show up and when I sms him at 7pm he said the laptop sold already! Darn you man! I hope you will get some itchy decease. haha You could have told me earlier.

Later that day the same laptop is already in the mudah ads for RM3000. sigh.

Second Try at buying Acer laptop from Mudah.com.my
I called a seller and agreed to buy a Acer Aspire 4937 for RM1500 as advertised in mudah. Luckily the deal did go through without a problem. The buyer show up earlier than me at the same place as the first story. We chatted a bit while I inspect the laptop. Glad to buy a 3 months old laptop for RM1500 only! Including the messenger bag, charger, cds and manuals. The new price for this laptop is RM2699.

As much as I like to buy a new and bigger car for me and the whole family, I still can't afford it. So what else can I do is give my 7 year old car a minor face lift aka paint job that cost RM600.

No car paint job is perfect but at least it turns out better than what I first expect of it.

Buying a new laptop is like an annual thing for me. I am currently using Acer Aspire One to do my work at the office. And it is already 1.5 years old. I am thinking of buying a new laptop but still undecided.

I am looking at Dell's website today, and they got some cash redemptions as usual.

Well, I hope I can something in the 1500 - 2000 range that is better than my current netbook.

Went to OUM KK early in the morning to send some stuff and off we go to breakfast at Tg. Aru. Well, the meal is good but Vanessa can't seem to sit properly not even for 5 seconds. So we decided to go to Sunny Supermarket before going home to Papar.

The weather is cloudy but it was still humid inside the house. But it did not deter Vanessa to play around and make everyone feeling dizzy with her antics.

The story is the man is wearing a ring that makes him bullet proof as you can see from the movie clip above. They shot 107 times but he did not die or even have any bullet mark on his body.

They finally managed to kill him after sniper (penembak jitu in Indonesian Language) shot the ring on his finger to make him vulnerable again.

I got around MYR450 from google last month. After withdrawing it from CIMB - Western Union I then bring my wife and Vanessa to Seng Heng Putatan to search+buy an electric oven and Juic extractor.

I decided to buy a cheap Elba oven costing MYR228:

because I am sure we are not going to use it that much anyway.

I bought a Pensonic Juice Extractor worth MYR220. There are other model that is much cheaper but the feeding hole is too small for my liking. With this one, one can put an entire apple or orange without the need to cut it into smalller parts.

Thank you google for giving me money to buy these things.

Hopefully more will come.

Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead today after paramedics found him in a coma at his Bel-Air mansion, city and law enforcement sources told The Times.

Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Steve Ruda told The Times that paramedics responded to a 911 call from the home. When they arrived, Jackson was not breathing.

The paramedics performed CPR and took Jackson to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda said. Hundreds of reporters gathered at the hospital awaiting word on his condition. The sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said family members rushed to Jackson’s bedside, where he was in a deep coma.

When I was growing up, I remember watching the thriller clips, the moonwalk and of course the pepsi ads featuring Michael Jackson. I even tried to do the moonwalk with little success. I don't care about the plastic surgery, child molestation scandal or his dangling nose, all I want to say that he is a talented and successful entertainer during his days.

DIY at my home part 1

The main point of having an automatic washing machine is to make washing your laundry a breeze without having to worry about the water supply, spinning (dry) and other stuff. You basically only have to turn it on, put your dirty clothes in the washing machine and then run(start) it. After it is done then you hang the clothes for a while in the sun.

But one thing remain the problem for our family washing machine: the pipe that connect to the water supply will leak out and dirty the floor after every wash. See picture below for the problematic connection:

So during the last weekend I decided that enough is enough and try to solve the problems with all the tools that I had:

After 1 hour plus of trying some kind of connections, after some wet moments when the pipe leak more than before, I finally got the right and cheap solution using a rubber hose and some pipe glue:

Actually it might have taken me less time to fix it if not for some very young and spoilt girl interrupting my every move:

The older you get, the more money you need to support your family.

This year I am starting from scratch in my making money from the internet thingy. I used to earn RM4,000 a month serving google ads using blogspot back in Jan 2008-May 2008 but now I am only earning peanuts.

So this year as part as my birthday resolution, I have started a new website/blog using a .com domain. http://watchdragonballs.com/

Last roll of a dice in MMO.
Earning money through blogging is hard enough so the smart thing to do was to served video contents from youtube or any other site to the world.

The last time I used a blogspot; the problem arises when it was reported as a spam site and google deleted it for a while. Hopefully using own domain will solve this problem.

Building the site takes a lot of my time but since I normally sleep at 2 am in the morning during weekend and much later during weekends, finding time to build the site is not a problem.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

My friend Mell reached this milestone 12 days ago. We were classmate during secondary school and although we didn't keep in touch that much now, blogs represents the way of knowing what we are up to once in a while( although he update his blog much much more often than I do)

Well back to the post title story.

I am officially hitting the big "THREE O" today. 16th April. Makes me wonder what have I achieved 30 years in this planet.

For a starter, I am already a dad to my daughter Vanessa and of course a husband too.

Time sure flies and suddenly she all grown up from such a tiny one day old baby girl:

Life is sure different after starting your own family than being a single I guess.

Hmm, I still only own a perodua Kelisa(from 2003-6 years old already), although I have bought lucky draw for a Toyota Rush later drawing in Jun (so being an optimistic person as I am, I will win that too lol). Sooner or later we will be desperate to buy a bigger car since buying a 2-week groceries at sunny supermarket is filling the fish card to the brim.

I am still working at the same Private College from mid 2002(7 years ago with little increment ..sad) I guess if I am resigning from this company I will only go for my own business. But that dream is still a bit far from this year.

I nearly quit my job last year during this time March-April because of the earnings I got from internet ad publishing reaching RM4K a month. But I am glad I a didn't because I would have suffered now since the earnings has dropped to RM300 a month. Consistency is difficult in everything you do, ask Lee Chong Wei. Lol
