Right now, our client is looking for a Database Administrator

This is not a full-time position. Candidate must be able to dedicate ~4-6 hours per week, plus as-needed support that may occur after hours.

The DB Admin will work with Program Manager to ensure SQL database is operational for customers.

Responsibilities:

Ensure proper set up of database
Troubleshoot issues as necessary
Provide recommendations for improvements

Chinese Website Tester

Summary

We are looking for Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional) to perform both translation review/editing and functional testing on a website. This project can be done remotely from home as long as the candidate has high speed internet and proper equipment.

Position Requirements

Candidates for this position must:

Have native-level linguistic ability in Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional)
Be proficient in HTML. Be able to identify placeholders and mark ups.
Be familiar with web development lingo.
Able to document bugs and defects into an online bug tracking system.

Nice to Have

Exposure to Marketing content, especially on-line shopping webistes
Experience using Emeditor or Notepad++
Has a copy of Wordfast Pro

Schedule requirement

Tester should be available twice per week for task #1, on Monday and Wednesday. Needs to be completed by 2pm PST the same day each time. Files will be ready for editing by 11am PST. Task #2 is needed once per week, on Wednesday. Need to be completed by 9am PST on Thursday.
