I recently met up with Davis to take his senior portraits. I always enjoy taking senior pictures, it’s such an exciting time in a young person’s life and I’m happy to have a part in documenting it. Davis is such an exceptional young man and he definitely has a bright future ahead of him!!

I have been so excited to take pictures of these two perfect little babies! I was able to take pictures of their parents before Christmas, they were so excited to be expecting but had no idea they were having twins at that time!! These two week old precious identical twin boys are a healthy 5lbs and so adorable! Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot….mom had so many great ideas!!!

These two cracked me up! They soooooooo did not want to be at this photo session but were dragged by their mom kicking and screaming. Poor mom, she just wanted desperately to get one picture of the two of them together looking like they could stand to be around each other. I could so feel their pain having a sibling myself and remembering how I felt as a teenager. They sat in front of the camera and looked at me with a look that said “Can we get this over with soon???” I promised them I’d work as fast as I could so they could get back to their busy lives as soon as possible! Like I’ve said before, I always aim to capture the personality, the relationship and the beauty in a photograph. I decided I was going to have to get creative to crack these teenagers….we started with this shot…not bad but they still weren’t cracked….

I suggested they horse around a little and their hard candy shells started to crack!!! They couldn’t hold on to their forced smiles any more!!!

As a result, we got the perfect image their mom was looking for! A portrait of them, showing their personality…their relationship….and of course the beauty! LOVE IT!

Here’s a few images from a session with one of my favorite families! I love the H family, they are so full of life and down to earth!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love taking pictures of people at their home. It adds a since of personalization to a portrait. It truly documents a time and place in the life of your family that is just so special!

Taking pictures of this young man recently had me feeling really old! Many moons ago I changed his diapers and fed him bottles, now he’s all grown up and is a junior in high school! Where does the time go?!
