The Pharmaceutical Corporations are feeding our generation with a bunch of false hoods. I have noticed an increase in commercials over the past few years dealing with sleep disorders to erectile dysfunction. And I am not limiting my opinions to prescription drugs companies either. I feel as if there has been an increase in disabilities such as: ADD/ADHD and Autism.

I came to this conclusion because my daughter in law had a baby recently, and she decided to take a non estrogen birth control because the doctors told her that this type of birth control has FEWER side effects for breast feeding moms.

However, over the past 7 weeks her child has had a difficult time either taking to the breast or projectile diarrhea in which she has found blood in the stool.

The baby is ok. However, she has been doing some research and feels that what the doctors told her, which is it’s caused by some blood around her nipples and her child is ingesting it, well she feels this is not true. What she has discovered is that it’s the birth control injection the Depo-Provera shot that is causing problems.

So why hasn’t the doctors told her this? Why didn’t the doctors inform her of the side effects in the first place?

As a result of the shot, she has to wait until the end of January to clear it from her system. Now, with those thoughts in mind, I think about all that propaganda that is vomited on television and I can not help but think of the movie “ I am Legend” Where Will Smith plays virologist Robert Neville, who is immune to a vicious man-made virus originally created to cure cancer. He works to create a remedy while living in Manhattan in 2012, a city inhabited by animalistic victims of the virus…(FICTION)
(FACT) Global cancer rates could increase by 50% to 15 million by 2020

I was told once that Lawyers could not approach someone who had just been in an accident and start handing out business cards, yet we see commercials advertising:

“Have you been injured in an accident?”

And we are bombarded with Yasmin and Nevo-Rings commercials.

They want females to put into their bodies’ foreign objects to prevent pregnancy. however with a little research one can find remedies’ in preventing pregnancy naturally. (And you do not have to be pro-life nor a pro-choicer to see the dangers in the proliferation of prescription drugs on the market)…

The Pharmaceutical corporations have been running some highly effective commercials lately, and the ironic thing is we don’t seem to be getting any healthier.

I decided to do a review on some of the products I use or have used in the past. I often review blogs and videos of ladies that use different products and how they work for their hair. So, I decided to do the same.

(Disclaimer: I am not a licensed cosmetologist, therefore many of these products contains additives that you may not feel are"natural" or "GOOD" for your hair.)

This is one of my favorite products and I use my hair mayonnaise about once a week. I use a generous amount throughout my hair.
Then I cover my hair with a disposal plastic cap and sit for at least 30 minutes allowing my natural body heat to give me a deep heated condition.

I rise and style.

Hair Mayonnaise makes my hair feel soft and managable. It allows me to detangle my hair with ease!

Great Product

I am a huge fan of Herbal Essences.

When I do a wash and go these are the products that really give me the look I like and without the crunch a lot of products leave on my hair.

Garnier Fructis

Smells great and I used this quite often when my hair was very short.

Now that I my hair is what is described as a TWA, this product doesn't do as well as the previous product.

I also loves to use this on my teenage daughters hair.
She is of mixed race
(her fathers is white) so, this product works better on her type hair then mine.

I do not like this product. It leaves my hair crunchy, sticky and eww! I know, I know there are ladies out there that love this GEL. Youtube vids out the yingyang talking about how much they love it. Good for them, however this does not work at all for my hair or my daughters hair.

So it sits.

Natural Hair-My Two Strand Twist/Flat Twist

I would like to say I LOVE MY NATURAL HAIR...I love playing in it, and trying new styles. Its fun and exciting.

Every time I experiment with new styles; I am amazed what my hair is capable of doing.

NON-RELAXED HAIR or (natural hair)...is VERSATILE and always GOOD HAIR!!

Woman Tried to kill Mistress Baby not once but...

Two damn times...WTH According to the New York Times Associated Press, a woman found out that her husband mistress was pregnant so some how she managed to talk her into taking a drug that induces abortions which caused her to go into premature labor, investigators said.
Oh its gets better.
Once Hunter, 25, gave birth to her son, Jones allegedly tried to finish him off by sending a toxic liquid to the hospital disguised as breast milk.

Monica, Rocco and Marriage

Searching the internet this morning I came across this:

Some one blasted Monica for her lifestyle and quoting the bible.

I admire Monica and her stance on the issue...

I think that this is a horrible lesson for people to go off, to live with a man have babies with a man have unprotected sex with a man, buy him a car and use the Bible to justify what you are doing. A man gives you a Gucci purse and you spread your legs *Tiny* . If he loved you so much why won’t he marry you, why does he continue to sleep around??? Why do you allow him to have kids with other women if you truly want his hear *Toya* why do you live with a man, have premarital sex, but wont marry him *Monica*

This illegitimacy that's going around is ruining black families everywhere and that is the reality, like [someone] said to me, to those who are given much more is required. These girls talk about how they want to be role models and how they want people to look up to them, but are they not aware of the negative example they are setting?? And once again why is this the examples kids are supposed to look up to. I would be so proud and happy if Diddy married Kim Porter, if Monica married Rocko, if Tiny married TI instead of playing house.

If you want to live a life of sin that’s fine, but don’t be upset when people judge you and if they do, don’t throw out bible versus to justify what you do or don'tt. Because people could easily turn the next page and find something demeaning to you and your lifestyle.

I actually respected the fact that you had your own opinions and stood by them but using our convo with the holes that people will log in is NOT an option. If u want to know why I quote scriptures, it's because they are what I read to help me to grow.

I am a role model, just not the type that pretends to be something she is not. Each day as I learn I share, the celebs who pretend they are without flaws I know and trust they are no better. These kids know when I speak now I speak from experience and can assist them in NOT making the same mistakes.

We all take different paths. My journey isn't just for me. In order to get to you must go thru. So until our paths cross face2face be blessed. (Editor’s Note - Uh Oh, what is that supposed to mean??)

What was read to me was degrading and unnecessary. Trust Charles, if I wanted to be married I would be, just like Halle Berry and many others this life was my choice. Hold no pity party for me. Don't stereotype or group me into categories. People didn't do it to Goldie Hawn or Madonna who had her first daughter on her own terms. I am very displeased that the label had to call and tell me it was up. I would have rather u told me & properly address my view.

Don't group me with others because all of our situations differ.

Two Strand Twist with Flat twist...

I decided to do two-strand twist ...flat twist style on my newly conditioned hair using Olive oil cholesterol conditioner. I love messing in my hair. I am not sure how this style will come out so your guess is as good as mine!

Once raised; I then used

Hibiscus & Banana Deep Fix - Moisturizing Conditioner. This stuff smells heavenly ;its costly $20 a for a 8oz jar therefore; I only use this when I desire a different scent.

I am a product junkie!

I usually detangled my hair in the shower its easier and my hair does a lot better soak and wet.

I then part and section my hair to make it easier to work with.

Ready for action...

My flat twist.

The important thing I have learned about twist and twist outs (especially for my hair) is that your hair must be wet (mine I work with soak and wet) for them to turn out without the frizz.

And your hair must be completely dry before you untwist your twist out.

SOOOOO....

Sit under the drier I go!!

If your hair is thick like mine then about an hour in a half..

Love Being Natural

Good evening, at the moment I am watching Cities of the Underworld on History International. I am always on the History Channel.

As I sit her I cam across some pictures of my B.C (big chop) and I am amazed how much my hair has grown and how healthy it is. Something else I notice since I have been natural is that I actually play in my hair. I never played in my hair when I relaxed it.

Matter of fact as soon as I relaxed my hair;I would weave it up or Kinky twist it. Which defeats the purpose of relaxing it in the first place. I will never understand why I would relax my hair just to cover it with weave and extensions. At any rate, I just wanted to share some pictures of my progression.

I love being natural!
