Jen’s workspace from Wesley Chapel, FL.

This is my home office – it’s where I talk with clients, edit photos, design websites, sketch out logos and write articles for my blog, Family Sponge. It’s also located in my bedroom, just to the right of our bed. So I guess it’s actually a “bedside office”. Ryan refinished this desk bought from the Salvation Army, and we found this funky chair at a thrift store as well. The seat cushion of the chair lifts up and my kids like to hide treasures in here for me to find. So sweet!

The desk is an Ikea Galant with Signum cable trunking.

The Cinema Display is mounted on an Ergotron MX LCD arm with a set of Dioder LED lights stuck to the back for some bias lighting.

Lastly is our workspace, which as you can imagine, is where we get work done. And since there are a couple companies living in the space, we came up with some quick ideas to slightly change the room for each of our meetings. Our favorite is the wall of prints velcroed onto the wall; we can interchange the prints by simply pulling one off and putting another up.

Jessica Walsh’s amazing rustic workspace in NYC.

While I work during the week our studio on 23rd street in Chelsea, on the weekends I like to switch it up and work from home. I had the desk custom made from Urban Wood Goods. The monkey that hangs over my desk is by Kay Bojesen. I like collecting classic children’s toys around my apartment. They serve as a nice reminder to keep curious, inquisitive, and playful in my life and work.

So warm and inviting all around.
