About Fitas (ribbons) The fitas read: “lembranca do senhor do bonfim da bahia”, which means “Souvenir of Our Lord of a Good End of Bahia”. Senhor do Bonfim is said to be one of the names used for Jesus, and Bahia is a region in Brazil. The idea is to tie three knots, and for each knot you make a wish. Then you wait for the fita to fall off, you throw it in the sea, and your wishes are granted! It can take up to a year or more for one fita to fall off (or if you need your luck asap,maybe you can help it fall off)! But when it does its a great reason to use to go to the beach and hope again.

I use these fitas to make bracelets, necklaces and keychains. Buy the “luck da bahia key chain” (found in my store) and choose the colors you want. Just green, just purple or a combination of all the colors i have? thats fine! Order and its yours!

Five big blocks of luxurious soap is more than enough for one person! With so many scents (40, to be exact) to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

I chose Grassy Knoll (which is my favourite) for my sweet heart, and it now has pride of place in his bathroom. And I also chose Ginger Souffle (pictured).

The sensuous scents linger long into the day, and the high quality blocks of soap are also long lasting!

Nothing makes me happier than a big parcel of yummy soap from….soap :P

I did get a highly amused look from DH when I requested he take a picture of me with my new soap, but he just doesn’t understand ;-)

If you’re curious, I got Grassy Knoll and Stroke Me, both of which I’ve tried before and loved; Daydream, Fresh Laundry and White Tea & Ginger.

Heaven in five, scrummy bars- and they last ages ;-)

The title doesn’t lie! These buttons sure are SUPER CUTE! With 10 different styles to choose from I was spoilt for choice! But in the end I decided on the Elephant & Mouse design. Now, you may have heard that elephants aren’t really fond of mice. That is a LIE! As you can see from this image… they LOVE each other!

Bags! We love them. We carry our whole life in them sometimes, keys, phone, money, i.d., lip balm… all the essentials :-) Sometimes you need something that’s big enough to carry a few more things, as well as the essentials. Sometimes you need something that’s “handfree” like my Wristlet style bags, so you can carry everything you need while still having both hands free for more important things, like shopping, eating, drinking, dancing, holding your sweethearts hand :-)

Peaceful Planet is a fantastic store here on MintD and the seller Luna is one of my favorite Jewelry artists because of her earthy style and her heart, which is bigger than the planet Earth !

I have bought at least a dozen earrings from her and two bracelets. I have also made three necklaces with the “extra” stones she graciously gave to me when I purchased earrings from her. Two of them are shown here.

She is just a sweet, talented person and I am proud to call her my friend ;>)
