Where to begin? Let’s accentuate the positive. Sweetheart is very pretty. She seems to be a natural beauty that doesn’t need make up to look good.

Now, I’m not really feeling this dress. It looks like its trying to combine too many trends. The zipper being a
focal point of the look takes away from the style it could have had. I don’t know if it is due to her pose but the dress doesn’t look like it fits right. The color is beautiful and looks good against her skin.

Her shoes do not go with this dress. They’re the wrong color and the wrong style. She should have opted instead for peep toes or sandals.

Drake-this definitely is not the best!!!

I know of people getting tattoos of their children’s faces, even a grandparent. I have also seen people get tattoos that celebrities have but I can say this is the first time I have seen someone get a tatt of a celebrity.

I’m gonna say that this is body vandalism. I hope this person has a genuine connection to Drake because in a few years there’s no telling if anyone will remember this dude!!!

Lil Mama at the MTV Award

Lil Mama is growing up. This is a lot better than what we’ve seen her do in the past. I think this is a great look for the MTV Music Awards. It is colorful and bright without being clownish. I’m not that into her hair though.

Memorial Weekend in South Beach- Cameo

Hmmm, I’m going through the pictures of Memorial Weekend in South Beach expecting to be amazed by new styles seeing how people come to celebrate no work on Monday from all across the country. Sadly, this was not the case. What is to follow are a few people that should have thought twice about making a cameo at Cameo on Saturday.

The young lady in the middle actually looks fine. Not what I would have chosen to wear in Miami but the outfit would get a pass. Her friends though tried to do the bright colors and it just didn’t work.

I know it is a recession but she looks like she should have a sign that reads “french maid in hand me down uniform for hire.” This dress doesn’t fit right. If it did it would’ve have been an okay look with the right shoes and accessories. Unfortunately she bought the wrong size and wrong shoe.

I get it. This is a statement. She took the “I don’t have anything to wear” theme that women scream all over the world and decided to just go out in her underwear. If this was a lingerie/pajama party I would love the look. At a regular party, not so much.

If she did one of these pieces alone, it wouldn't have been bad. BUT ripped tank, ripped pants, AND a flat boot?! yeah...no...

As a member of the Big Titty Committee, I get how hard it can be to rock ya girls but still support ya girls. Homie here gets an F in the latter department! yeah...hell no!

This week’s “Do Jesus” look

Alright, a friend of mine coined the phrase, “Do, Jesus!” when he’s come across a flaming mess. Meaning, “Do, Jesus, remember this fashion fool!” Though I’ve seen PLENTY faux-pas already in my 24+ hours back in New York to blog about (a jheri curl, a couple dozen muffin tops, skinny jeans on a far from skinny dude…) my first Do Jesus award goes to a semi-celeb, Paris Bennett.

Dangit, I can’t find a pic of the other side of her hair, but whoa! From top to bottom…problem. The hair, late 90s throwback. Doorknockers don’t go. Dress is cool, but with the lace gloves, bangles, long necklace, god-awfultights with open toes….boo. Just boo. I know she was going for edgy or different or something, but this junk looks ridiculous to me. Maybe I’M trippin! You tell me.

Club Review- Elysee Monmartre Hip Hop Loves Soul

Now, I’m the first to admit that I am a club snob!I refuse to wait in lines and I’m rarely okay with paying for a party. I am easily bored and spend most of the night playing on my phones. Yet, I love the preparation of a party. Picking out the right shoes. The right dress…and of course the accessories.

So let me paint this picture for you. It’s my first night in Paris. I’m itching for a way to start my trip off on a good shoe…I mean foot. We go on the web and try to find Paris party sites. We just figure there has to be some. Doesn’t work. Get on Facebook, still no luck. Let’s check out Myspace. I know, I know, who still goes on Myspace? But it has to still be good for something. As we scroll through pages we happen upon the above flier.

This seems like the best thing going on. Pull out the BCBG Dress. Choose between the four pairs of heels. Yes, I only brought four pairs of heels. (Always need a reason to go shopping) Get in a cab and head to the spot.

If you’ve been to Santos on a Friday in NYC then you know what the outside of this club looked like. The bouncer really tried to direct us to the back of the line, even after we asked about bottle service. Doesn’t happen in NYC. Wasn’t happening in Paris!

My friend went to the front of the line and the promoter opened the ropes right up for us. Walked inside and yes, we did pay the admission. Every now and then its okay to pay. It was 15 Euros.

We got inside and it was amazing. The music was FIRE. The crowd seemed excited to be there and everyone was having a good time. I haven’t seen people enjoy themselves like it in years. I was excited to look around and see what people were wearing.

Looking around I lost some of the high the party had me on. The dudes seemed to be doing their thing. They had the hip hop look down. But not in a sloppy, hood, boxers showing, dingy and dusty looking way. They looked as if they just came from a Vibe Magazine Hip Hop Fashion photoshoot. The women…hmmm…

The women disappointed me. Their styles seemed uninspired. Nothing stood out and they didn’t even look as if they cared! The shoe game got left home and most looked as if they didn’t even bother to do their hair. I was sooooooooo disappointed.

They drove me to drink! I wish my iPhone had a flash so I could show you pictures.
