Personally, yes! I most definitely would. I would show it to my 6th grade child as well, maybe even my 4th grader if she were to inquire. I don’t seem to be alone in this, but I do seem to be in the minority. You know, because I’m the one who stores my sex toys in the living room.

I feel this book is a great step forward from traditional, abstinence only sexual education materials. Yes, they could have left out the mounting and riding but would that really make a difference? By the time they are learning about condoms, they are going to know what they are for; at least they should in my opinion. I think the risqué aspect of this book will capture their attention much more than a pamphlet showing the direct effects of diseases or condoms being worn by food products ever would.

I really do think it’s a shame that schools need to censor their teaching materials based on differing opinions from parents. While it might go beyond personal choices and beliefs, sexual education for our children is just as important as the rest of their curriculum. Sheltering them and getting upset over what they’re taught isn’t going to prevent them from having sex, but it may very well prevent them from being open with you or knowing how to deal with situations as they arise. If students are left thinking they will be shamed or punished if they aren’t abstaining, they certainly aren’t going to ask for help if they need it.

Sexually explicit material can still be educational! For teaching purposes I feel it is absolutely necessary. I’m not saying we should show porn in the classroom, in fact I think using porn as an educational tool would be a very bad idea since it doesn’t generally depict reality but that’s a topic for another post. My point is that not all sex is pornographic, nor should it be.

The amount of adults I’ve met who come off as utterly clueless in the area of sexuality is mind blowing and it isn’t as though these are only the people who’s parents prevented them from attending sex-ed, these are people who did attend. They learnt all about the various diseases out there, the symptoms, the treatments, and the scary as shit photographs but how much of that information stuck with them in a positive manner? Furthermore, how much of it stuck with them at all? You could say a graphic photo is memorable because you wouldn’t want it to happen to you, but if it’s something you don’t want to think about you likely won’t remember it at all. Something that’s entertaining, and especially something that leaves a good impression is what’s going to be remembered over time.

A little bit late but I didn’t actually order these until the day before Valentine’s so I can handle that. My package arrived in the mail yesterday and I haven’t used any of these yet, but still wanted to share my excitement since I haven’t ordered anything for myself for a long time.

• Mr. Pink

I spotted this one a few weeks ago and it immediately made its way to my wish list. I think the fact that it’s different is what drew me in the most, but being made by Fun Factory helped seal the deal. I like flexible toys, but this one is much floppier than I had anticipated. It’s nice to look at and I’m looking forward to using it, but I’m still not sure if I will like it. It may surprise me yet, like multiple Fun Factory toys have in the past!

Now these are cool because all those toys that are nice and narrow, yet not equipped with a base of their own can now safely be used anally. Even though I haven’t been doing a whole lot of blogging lately, I’ve still been on the internet as much as usual and my latest focus has been on personal vaporizers, or e-cigarettes. From here on I will refer to it as a vaporizer since it’s important to understand that it’s anything but a cigarette. No tobacco is burned, no smoke is produced, and no harmful chemicals are being inhaled… or exhaled, and it doesn’t stink! Even though there is a visible vapor, using a vaporizer is not smoking; it’s vaping. Vaporizers are essentially not a smoking cessation device, but an alternative to cigarettes. That said, yes – I quit smoking cigarettes, I just didn’t quit nicotine and found a method that works for me. At the time of writing this, it is perfectly legal to use a vaporizer delivering nicotine in most public places where smoking is prohibited (it is of course best manners to ask first because the decision is essentially up to the owner).

What I bought was just a couple of Ego 510 threaded 650mah manual batteries, a package of Kangor cartomizers, a charger, and a couple of drip tips. This is probably about as basic as it gets without buying a low quality brand, and this set up does work but is not the best for the long term. It’s about the same length as a standard pen, and even though it isn’t held like a cigarette I haven’t had any problems getting used to it.

The first thing I quickly learned was to not, at any time, leave the room without my vaporizer in hand. In fact, after the first couple of hours I kept it in my hands at all times. Every time I set the thing down, I pulled a cigarette out of my pack without even realizing what I was doing. Now, I did manage to put down all but one of these picked up cigarettes and replace them with my vaporizer but just the urge to pick up a cigarette when my hands were empty was quite overwhelming. With the vaporizer in my hand, every time I felt the urge I took a puff and all was well.

The next thing I learned was that the same flavor, after about an hour, just doesn’t taste the same. Swap flavors. As often as possible. I was lucky and managed to buy 8 different flavors from a local vaper for a very reasonable price, but I would suggest starting out with at least 3-4 different flavors.

Everything I have read about vaping has suggested that there would be a significant learning curve in inhaling techniques, but in my case I found that to be untrue. I credit this to the fact that I smoke from a pipe quite often, and also smoke my cigarettes in a similar fashion (pulling the smoke into my mouth, and then inhaling it after moving the cigarette away from my lips). If you draw the smoke directly into your lungs on every drag, it will take you a little longer to get the hang of it.

By the end of the day, I lit a cigarette partially to see if I had been missing out on anything and partially out of my habit of smoking immediately before going to bed. After just a few puffs, my chest started tightening and I put it out in favor of my Timmys Ice Cap flavored vape. Today, I’ve only smoked 1.5 cigarettes and I probably didn’t even need those. At this point, less than 24 hours in, I’m almost certain that I will never buy another pack of cigarettes again as long as I don’t run out of juice to refill my vaporizer.

I’ve heard the saying “The worst thing you can do when quitting smoking is tell people”. Telling people sets you up for criticism if you fail. Well, I’m telling you all now and I certainly hope I don’t fail! I honestly think everyone who smokes should try these. Even if you only use it part time, every cigarette not smoked is a step forward. Do some research, figure out which model would suit your needs, and buy it! Once I feel more confident and have tried a few different models I’ll start giving some suggestions but for now I’ll say this: Would you buy the cheapest sex toy available just to see if you would like using toys? Well maybe you might, but the people that do that often end up with the opinion that they don’t like toys before trying another. Go for something you can afford, but do your research and know what your buying. Like always, watch reviews on YouTube, read opinions on forums, and make sure to shop from a reputable retailer. Don’t rely too heavily on written reviews found on websites which only write e-cigarette reviews; it is my opinion that the majority of these seem to be written by manufacturers and/or retailers and read as a sales ad.

Pipedream Products is one of those companies that I think will be around for a long time. They have a lot of versatile products and can reach the most vanilla of couples to those who want to broaden their sexual horizons. I think this 10 Function Remote Control Bullet would be a great addition to anyone’s toy box. The bullet is small, cute, and compact but don’t let its small size fool you. The bullet itself is 1.5 inches long, and with the addition of the retrival cord, it makes it five inches long. This bullet is tiny but has nice buzzy vibrations that are sure to stimulate and arouse you. Paired with this bullet is of course a remote control.  The remote control’s wireless capatiblity is what makes this toy so arousing and fun to have around. Now you can easily bring your playtime out of the bedroom and let your inner exhibitionist out.

This bullet is made out of soft plastic, specificially PU coated plastic. The material is very silky soft and has no smell to it at all. This toy is very discreet and has been easily packed inside my purse. When we’re out, he carries the remote in his pocket and it does not take up much space at all. Sexy and stealthy at the same time. The vibrations are controlled by two buttons: an on/off switch and a button that looks like a fast forward button a VCR. There are ten different vibration patterns with ranges such as: throbbing, long drawn out bzzing and a more rapid intense throbbing and bzzing combo. Keep in mind as you up the pattern, the louder the toy becomes. Also, there is no back or rewind so you will either have to turn it off, or go through the cycle of all of them again. These vibrations are very rumbly but they aren’t earth-shattering, so if you have a less then sensitive clit this might not do anything for you.

If you enjoy shallow penetration, this bullet  can be used for that, but since it is so small it works best for clitoral stimulation. Be careful of the retrieval cord, it seems decent enough quality but let’s not test that. I would advise against using this anally because of the lack of a flared base. Don’t let that stop you though! Slip it against your panties and let your partner have a little control. You can also use it on other sensitive areas like nipples or testicles. Have fun with the little secret you and your partner are keeping.

PU plastic is very easy to care for. Simply wash it with warm water and soap, or toy cleaner and you’re good to go. Use only water or silicone based lubes with it. After use, I store the bullet with my other toys. This bullet requires 1 12V (N battery) & 6 AG13 (button) batteries, which are included. Use these batteries sparingly, and remove them if you don’t intend to use it again right away.

Okay, maybe I exaggerated just a little in the title. I still have possession of my soul and gathered up enough cash to pay the rent… by selling my furniture and various smaller things. I actually didn’t sell all that much, since the majority of the cash came from a friend that I hadn’t thought about asking but I did sell a few things.  I realized there was no way I would have had enough time, or space, to move everything (into my friends garage) and posted up a bunch of classified ads before heading to bed last night.

Most of the people who came by to look at things were just what you would expect; They came, they saw, they left. One young man, who had actually only come for one of the items I was giving away for free, ended up buying several things and overall made my day. Not because he bought things, but because he hung around talking to me for a while and seemed genuinely concerned. He asked why I was selling/giving things away and I’m fairly certain he only bought the stuff because he knew I needed the money.

Not everyone was friendly. A few people sent nasty emails in response to my ads, but I shrugged them off. The entire issue isn’t resolved, since I still need to deal with the bank and possibly the police (more on that later), but not having to be evicted lifted a huge weight off my shoulders!

First off: There is a lot of information that I simply cannot post here, so if you can’t quite connect the dots… well, apologies in advance.

Let me give a tiny bit of back story here before I go on with the drama. I’m the type of person who will help others before helping myself. I tend to have my quirks, and come off as submissive-yet-intimidating when my confidence level is at it’s highest. At it’s lowest, anxiety takes over and leaves me fearful and timid. People who don’t know me generally avoid me, but the few that have managed to break through my walls will tell you I’m one of the nicest people they know.

I also make it through each month on less income than anyone I know.

So this lifelong friend of the family, who I didn’t personally know very well starts coming around. She’s nearly my opposite personality wise and I knew right from the beginning that she was trouble, but out of respect couldn’t make anything of it. I tuned her out when needed, and learned to tolerate her without pulling out any hair.

In the beginning, she would talk highly of her boyfriend; about how he gave her a massage every night, take care of her needs, was an excellent father, and generally all the things that a boyfriend should be doing. Things started tapering off after that, she would have stories of a new argument between them nearly every day. She didn’t share all the details of the arguments, but was dead set that she was right-he was wrong-and there was no other way to look at it. When I say they argued, they are the type of people who regularly called the cops on one another when they argued.

They were having an ongoing argument about whatever, and the boyfriend moved out. She came to me, saying she had these checks that he had presigned for her and wanted me to cash them in my bank account. My account does not place a hold and wait for checks to clear – the cash can be withdrawn immediately.

In total she withdrew $2000 from my bank account, swearing to me that there was no way that these checks would bounce. I wasn’t comfortable doing it, and originally said no but it obviously didn’t work out the way I wanted (did I mention that I’m also easily intimidated?). I’m betting you’ve already guessed this by now (or maybe you read about it on the EdenFantasys forums) but yes, the checks did bounce.

She insisted that when her boyfriend found out that she cashed the checks, that he showed up at her house to take the cash from her. She kept telling me I had to wait until she could talk some reason into him on paying the money back, and then she finally said I would get the money on (this past) Thursday for sure. Thursday comes around, and when asked if she had the money she said “maybe tomorrow”. That was it. We decided to contact her boyfriend to see what was up, only to find out that he knew nothing about any checks at all. She signed his name on the checks. Furthermore, the checks were for an account that she knew had been closed some time ago.

Turns out, she did take money from his actual account. Quite a bit more than what she took from mine. And she spent it all on fucking crack. No one in the family even knew she had a problem.

I’ve been evicted from my house because I couldn’t pay the rent, I need to be out by tomorrow afternoon. (OMG) My bank account is overdrawn by over $2000 and I can’t see any way that I can recover from it. I’m a nervous wreck and my mind is spinning with the possibilities of what the future will hold. I tend to just stop thinking about things that stress me out, which is why I’m bad for putting things off for months without even realizing how much time has passed. I have managed to make it through every obstacle in the past, and am sure I will somehow make it through this one too but DAMN! How does somebody do this to another person and still feel good about themselves?
