Move over Laura Mercier, hello Garnier! We've all been hearing about BB Cream's left and right and I've tried a few samples from Sephora and thought, "Eh...", but my girlfriend insisted that I needed to try Garnier's version. At $12 a pop, this is hands-down my new favorite thing in my Missoni for Target makeup bag. I've converted several other people and counting. I have skin issues, so tinted moisturizers, lightweight foundations, etc. have never really been an option, but somehow this super lightweight miracle product works perfectly with a tiny bit of concealer over it.

i get completely obsessed with items of clothing, once i find a piece i like, i'll wear it to death. like, to the point where my friends will say, "no, i don't think you should wear the camo jacket again..." ha! well, i have a new obsession. this BP top by Lush is perfect for work with dress pants, great tucked into a skirt and ideal for going out in skinny jeans and boots. it's just $34, comes in lots of colors, and is aptly named the perfect tee. you're welcome! xo, k

in my never ending quest for perfect brows (and the next new thing), i popped into Beauty By Dolly in Hillcrest for sugaring (see this post.) and found out that they only do threading on brows. i'd hear of this, so i decided to give it a go and i'm a fan! does it hurt? duh. but really no more than waxing or plucking and it is super quick. plus, i liked that there's no hot wax so close to my eyes #makesmenervous. if you're in the san diego area, definitely check out Beauty By Dolly - it's walk-in only, they can pretty much always see you right away and it's very inexpensive. def my new spot! xo, k

i saw this on lizard lounge's facebook page - love it. confession: i really only like wearing new clothes - is that bad? jeans just aren't the same after you've washed them! have you tried freezing your jeans? apparently it kills all of the bacteria without the fading - plus it saves water, according to this article.

did anyone see Savages? it was good! ... especially if you like your films with a lot of violence, drugs and sex. it was pretty disturbing, but i still liked it. the best part was the eye candy - Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Benecio Del Toro (although he's repulsive in this one), John Travolta, Salma Hayek and the hottest of the bunch - Blake Lively. she's kind of amazingly sexy, right?!

we're always finding new foods to get addicted to... here's some we love that you should love too!

k: evolution juices are the best! my favorite so far is Sweet Greens and Lemon - so good. check out this article and keep an eye out for evolution stores popping up - hopefully San Diego is next on the list!

t: this stuff is soooooo good and it's baked in fruit instead of oil so it's so much better for you than normal granola! (local cali brand too!)

k: i am obsessed with these gluten-free, dairy-free chips!

t: I love all of Justin's nut butters... but this vanilla almond one is bonkers! it's sold exclusively at whole foods and pretty much the yummiest thing straight out of the jar.

remember us? yeah, we know, we've been pretty MIA lately...but we have good excuses! all of you people insist on getting married when it's beautiful and sunny out, so T has been swamped, shooting weddings, engagement photos - check out what she's been up to here.

as for me? i have some big news! on monday my dad and I will be hitting the road from PDX to SAN with a u-haul filled with all of my belongings (more than i realized, as i'm packing today!), with my Volvo in tow. yep, i'm moving back to san diego! i'm beyond sad to say goodbye to my bffs in PDX, but i am excited for sun and new adventures + mbah will finally be in the same city! we'll be back next week and posting more than ever. have a fab weekend! xoxo, t & k

i'm declaring a new fitness craze for summer - tramping. the family who owns the house i live in got a trampoline recently and I'm not gonna lie, i'm kind of addicted to jumping on it. my friend via came over last night and we got so out of breath from jumping (and laughing) - it's a full body workout! find a trampoline near you and give it a go! #sofun

k: obsessed with my new Dior Addict lipstick in beige dandy my cousin got me for my b-day, it's the perfect color for me and i feel so fancy wearing it!

t: I'm loving my new cleobella bag... you must check out their new store in seal beach!

k: i got one of these bkr water bottles for my birthday from my friend Amy and it's perfect for yoga and barre3. i absolutely love it - there's nothing better than drinking from a glass bottle!

t: my eye brow girl (who is also my skin guru) gave me some samples of this stuff and it's amazing! jam-packed with goodness for your face!

k: retin-a is my new bff. i finally listened to my dermatologist, giving this a fair shot and it's working super well! the key is to start using it at night, every 3rd night and gradually work up to every night. Also use it on super dry skin (30 minutes after washing) to avoid irritation.

t: trader joes always has the good stuff. i'm loving their shave cream... no razor burn or irritations! it's the best.
