It has been an unexpected experience that my weekly income flows abnormally compare on working on a company with 630am -630pm schedule waiting for my bi-weekly income that is way too far on what I am receiving now. I never thought that I will be like this. I met odesk by an accident in which I only steal an internet connection on my previous company. I use to rent before just to get my ever first interview. I even ask for a favor on one of a gym which I use to go to exercise until now. I will never forget that I in a middle of interview telling a lie that I own a computer and a reliable internet connection.

One day, my aunt gave me a working laptop with PIII 633Mhz processor. I thank her and said that this laptop will be useful to me. I immediately avail an internet connection though there was no sure odesk job waiting for me. But with persistence and desire to land a job, I finally got my ever first data entry task with $1.1 per 5 biography post of a music site. Since then, I became addicted working on odesk. I started to feel that working on a low rate is not the right job for me. Though I have a current work with a company, I never stop taking exams and learning new things just to upgrade and improve my odesk profile.

But time come that I need to focus on working on odesk plus the fact that I really need to say goodbye to my previous company. My odesk income then was not that sufficient. However, I keep on believing that I can earn 10x on what I receive monthly before. With God’s grace and guidance I am now engage to several companies asking me to create a quality video and e-learning materials for them.

I only want to inspire newbies here in odesk . Do not stop when you received hundreds of declines. I waited 6 months to land my first odesk job. Always check your profile as others see it. Update your skills and place a decent picture which will resemble who you are. Again, never stop from what you can do now. You are lucky that we have a group like this.
It is a way of life. We tailor our lives to fit the needs of clients, going above and beyond the call of duty. We are different in that we have no shelter from the worries and woes of our workplace. While others take comfort and peace once they enter their homes, free from the pounding pressures of responsibilities and duties, we are not as fortunate. We face the daily grind from the moment we wake up to the moment we resign our tired bodies to a few hours of well deserved rest.

Others may look down upon our status as home-based workers with contempt, but we are secure in the fact that our profession requires a certain discipline which not many possess. Another difference which we should never forget is the size of our paychecks. They may slave away in a cubicle, working a "normal" 9-5 job, but we hold our own. Our discipline keeps us working at ungodly hours, with superhuman endurance.

This is a call of pride. A call of dignity which many of us forget.

Take measured pride in what you have accomplished as a freelancer. Respect your skills, talents and capabilities. Show them what you can do. But take this as a warning and cautionary tale. Don't let your pride be your downfall. Confidence, taken in excessive doses leads to arrogance. Be humble enough to know that you will never stop learning.

Take pride but never forget.
Password is essential for security so you should think twice in choosing your password.

Top 6 Ways to Create Powerful Password
1. Don't make your password something that is easily guessable by both friends and strangers, such as your mother's maiden name, your birth date or parts of your Social Security number.
2. Include at least one number and one capital letter in your password, if possible. Some sites do not distinguish between capital and lower-case letters.
3. Make your password at least six characters long.
4. Try to make your password as random as possible, using combinations of letters and numbers that do not spell out words or use known sequences.
5. Pick a different password for each site you use.
6. Don't keep your banking password with your banking information in your home or on your person. Memorize your password and throw away and burn any papers that contain it.
