I'm not in the single-digit countdown quite yet, I have approximately 22 days left until my due date. Who said pregnancy is only 9 months!? It's definitely more like 10 LOL.

DUE DATE: July 16, 2013

SIZE OF BABY: Well according to Baby Center, baby A should weigh 6+ lbs and be about ~19 inches long. My belly measured at 37 cm as of last Fridays appointment and she is still in the head down position... I just hope she is in the anterior position as well (I forgot to ask). Next appointment I will ask for a guestimate on baby A's weight... I'm definitely curious.

WEIGHT GAIN: 25 lbs total as of last Friday's prenatal appointment (-3 lbs from the week before, but my belly grew 1 cm).

MATERNITY CLOTHES: Maxi dresses are still my best friend. Except when it's way too hot (like it has been the past couple of days), then shorter dresses are my BFF's.

MOVEMENT: Baby A doesn't have much room left in there but somehow she has been moving around a lot more frequently lately.

WHAT I MISS: Being able to breathe normally! I feel like I'm always out of breath, no matter what I'm doing... even just sitting or laying down.

SYMPTOMS: Acid reflux occasionally. Lower back aches and leg pains (just bought a maternity support belt to help with this).

CRAVINGS: Still loving my crushed ice cubes... I average about three 5 lb. bags a week now :/

So at my 35 week appointment they drew blood to check my iron levels. Apparently I'm anemic, and I'm right at the cut-off for giving birth at the birth center. I have no idea what the numbers exactly mean, I just know that the cut-off point is 30 and I am at 29.5! So my midwife prescribed me some iron pills that I have to take 3x a day, and on top of that I am starting to drink Red Raspberry Leaf Tea daily and going hard on eating more iron-rich foods because I really would like another water birth with Baby A, God willing. So, I finally had an excuse to buy myself a Breville juicer, and now I just need to go shopping and buy all my iron-rich fruits and veggies and starting juicing ASAP. I'm praying it works... I was only .5 below the cut-off so it shouldn't be too hard.

Anyway, I will leave you with a few pictures from this past weekend :)
