Tried to load my blog yesterday but was greeted with an error message from blogger, stating that template code was corrupted. I stared at the screen for 5 seconds, googled about the error, did a few attempts with the solutions provided on forum and none of it solve the problem.

Came back to check on the blog earlier, changed the template and my ~~dead~~ blog is up and running again. Since I'm here, might as well pen down my thoughts and also what had happened during my absent since my last post.

W O R K. As a self-proclaimed workaholic, of course work is the first thing I will touch on ;) I am still working with the same company and as much as I curse during the preparation of each event I handle, I can proudly say I still love my job.

We try to have various back-up plans to be prepared for any emergency situations but as much as we want to be prepared, we will never be "fully" prepared. That's the reality in the event industry. This is exactly why I am still in the game, because we have to constantly challenge ourselves to have solutions for any emergency situations occur. Challenges are annoying but fun!

The company I am with is doing quite well. In 2015, we expanded to Australia and have held 5 events in Sydney and Melbourne. This year, we are greeted with another good news that our office in Malaysia fully operate starting September! Besides concerts and fan meets that we have been organising, now we venture into corporate events too.

With the expansion, my responsibility in the company grows too. I oversee both entertainment and corporate department for 3 countries. To be honest, I am nervous and clueless about managing a team as this is my first, dealing with different characters is one kind of challenge. Life is never easy, isn't it? Only with challenges I will push myself further and achieve the seem-to-be-impossible goals.

I have two exciting trips happening in October and November. For the first time in 4 years, I can take leave on my birthday! Will blog about my trips, as I feel the need to document the details.

Late night thoughts

There are times where I want to pen down my thoughts or happy occasions but I guess I'm just lazy. Lazy to start constructing sentences, lazy to even collect my thoughts and pen down what had happened.

Today, I feel the need to document what had happened to me since my last post in 2013.

Relationship

After much consideration, I decided to end my relationship with R. Difference in character draws us apart. As cliche as it might be, it is the reason that our relationship did not last. I did not make the decision over night, the thought of breaking up has been troubling me since 2 years ago.

He enjoys doing things at his pace, one thing at a time. I'm the opposite, if there's problem occur I have to settle there and then. I like to multi-task as I don't like to waste time or drag on issue/task as everything has a timeline. Well, now you get the idea of how different we are and I couldn't stand the way he handles certain issues. That's when I get irritated easily and run out of patience in giving in to him.

Our 8 years relationship ended in June 2014. Strangely I don't regret my decision, I'm sad that I did not regret my decision. How can a 8 years relationship ended this way and I did not regret a single bit? This shows how silly I was to hold on to him for so many years when I know something wasn't right years ago.

Oh well, still it is a good memory and experience. I wish upon the stars that I will meet my Mr.Right soon :)

Family

Brother started working in Seoul in August 2013 and I was posted in Singapore in December 2013, my parents have been living in an empty house for almost two years now. We felt bad for leaving our parents but it is an experience that we wouldn't want to let go.

Good news is brother coming back in September, for good! Now parents at least have someone to rely on if need be.

Work

The company I work for has expanded to Australia last September. I'm very excited as I have the opportunity to handle projects in Australia.

Went to Sydney and Melbourne for site visit in February, glad that we managed to meet most of the suppliers and venues and all of them are friendly and helpful.

After 3 months of preparation, back in Sydney and Melbourne in July for two events in both cities. It feels like handling 4 events because different preparation for different venue. Moreover, I handled operations and my boss in charge of technical part. Yes, just two of us handling everything.

Things did not go according to plan, that's normal for events but there are room for improvement. I will remind myself to not repeat the same mistake and do better for future events. I couldn't sleep for weeks before leaving to Australia because there are so many things to handle and I was worried that I might miss out some details. Stressing myself not to forget this and that, of course is not good to do so but I have no choice. I guess I'm get very emotional and involved in my job.

Spent 17 days in Australia, I do miss working there. Mainly because is Winter haha! I can't stand hot weather, like seriously. As soon as I touched down in Singapore, I cannot stop complaining about the weather.

Hopefully I have chance to handle more projects in Australia, perhaps spend longer time there so I could have pre-event meetings to ensure things go according to plan on event day. Cannot be 100% according to plan but at least I try my best to reduce the possibility of things screw up or have backup plans.

I enjoy working in this company. I'm fortunate and thankful to have a good boss and helpful colleague. I have confidence that we will have more projects in Singapore and Australia, as such we may have bigger team and able to go further as a team.

Grateful to have a job, surrounded with good friends and family members being healthy. This year's resolution is to work hard, save up and travel more.

Insadong

I have neglected or more like gave up in updating my blog. However lately I have the urge to write! Type and deleted post on Facebook and Twitter...I guess my blog is the best place to put down my thoughts.

So, ya HELLO! *clean up spiderweb and dust*

Korea, a city where I would like to study and work at. I love its culture, maintaining traditional and modern elements in their architecture. Brilliant!

Insadong is a place where a tourist must visit in Seoul. This is where you buy souvenirs that represent Seoul. It is filled with antique shops, art galleries, traditional stationery shops, handicraft shops, potter and porcelain shops, bookstores and art supply stores. It is the home to many traditional restaurants and tea houses.

Ssamziegil was designed in such a way that it connects alleys in spiral-like stairway. You can get a clear view of the sky as you do your shopping.

Love this area as it has traditional touch to its architecture. You can imagine there are people wearing hanbok at market place back in Joseon era :)

I wonder what's right, what's wrong.

There are so many choices in life and I admit I was spoiled. I always have plans before making any decisions, however, only God knows why those plans don't go accordingly.

Whenever I make certain decisions which supported by dear parents, if things don't go well negative feedback will be thrown back to me. What happen to the supportive duo?

I do not know what to do anymore. Just give me an opportunity oversea and I will work my ass off and endure whatever I have to.

CNY Haul

CNY is not a festival that I look forward to, I don't know why...the only reason that I'm happy during CNY is to meet my cousins and friends. Most of them are in KL but strangely we don't meet each other.

I thought I do not have new clothes for CNY, I was wrong. I have forgotten the clothes I bought from Seoul last year which is still in my luggage bag. Hehehe...ya, I kept it in the luggage bag on purpose ironically that's why I forgot its existence too.

Since I have new clothes from Seoul trip, I bought a few more pieces to complete the collection. (shopaholic's excuses). Well, I guess I went overboard on shopping for new clothes. On the bright side, I have more pieces to mix and match. This means I have more outfit photos to fill this space ^_______^

Korean Movies

Lately, I have ran out of Korean dramas to watch. Most of the new dramas don't interest me. I only watch "Cheongdamdong Alice" which is ending soon, unfortunately.

So, my next option would be Korean movies. Did my research and I have a list of movies that I can't wait to watch and share it here :) I'm a sucker for horror and romance plot! So you get the picture of what kind of movies I will be sharing here.

Two sisters who, after spending time in a mental institution, return to the home of their father and cruel stepmother. Once there, in addition to dealing with their stepmother's obsession and unbalanced ways, an interfering ghost also affects their recovery.

This is the original version of "The Lake House". The American version was one of my favourite movie which I can watch a million times and still not sick of it. I was wrong, the original version which is the Korean version I have just watched is even better!

It is melancholic, but warm. Although it might be ridiculous to communicate and fall in love with someone from the past, but somehow it just feels real. The story line has been my favourite as it is unlike the romance movies out there.

Soo-jin who has everything and was born with a silver spoon gets dumped by her already-married boyfriend. She tries to get over him and forget. One day she bumps into a poor carpenter, Cheol-soo whose only goal in life is to become an architect, and she becomes attracted to him. They finally fall in love and happily married. Now that she thinks she found the right one, she has to face the undeniable fact that she has a disease which is erasing her memories...

Good to see how loving they are despite Cheol-soo's cool character, it is even sweeter to see how he treats Soo-jin. I cried a bucket over this movie; when one truly love another, love is amazing.

Merry (?) Christmas

Christmas, is my favourite day after my birthday. Although Christmas is in winter, but Christmas has a warm feeling. The day where people sing carols on the street, from one house to another, exchange of christmas gifts...compared to Chinese New Year when we receive red angpao, house visits, fattening food...I prefer Christmas.

I wish upon the stars that next year's Christmas I will be spending it in a winter country.

I wish upon the stars that I have the abilities to help people around me, just so everyone will be happy and I will be too.

I'm a sucker for memory playback scenes, it never fails to make me cry. Moreover, this MV acted by my favourite kid actress- Kim Yoo Jung. Teared a lil bit watching the MV.

This MV reminds me of school days. How many of us actually been through separation like the MV did? Or we have the one we like back in those days and had some sort of bitter sweet love story?

Jin Ok Hwa One Chicken Restaurant 진옥화할매 닭한마리

It is located at Dongdaemun. The restaurant name explains what it serves, one whole chicken boiled in a basin of soup together with a tray containing a scissor, a tong, a small plate of grated garlic, one dish each of kimchi and Korean rice cake. The soup was then heated up on a built-in table stove.

The waitress will help you in cutting the chicken to pieces when is cooked.

What you get in the soup is:

One whole chicken
Meat broth
Cabbage kimchi
One potato, peeled and sliced (may order extra if is not enough)

You can order rice cake or noodle to be added in the soup, or else it will be quite plain with just chicken and potato.

Korean chili paste, mustard, white vinegar and soy sauce were prepared on the table. The waitress taught us to mix all of the above and it goes really well with the chicken!

The korean chili paste is so good that we decided to mix it with the soup!

Never regret doing so. Honestly, one chicken is not enough for 3 people. Probably is because we are big eaters so we kinda regretted not to order two chickens. Well there's always next time ;)

It has been almost 5 and a half months since I write in this space. Why the long hiatus? Well, nothing interesting has happened past months. Hate the fact that nothing worth to pen down hence I would rather lock this space aside.

Lately, I'm unhappy...of daily routine...life. So much that I want to do but is constraint by not having enough modal. I shared thoughts, feelings and dreams with friends but somehow it will burden them...in a way. So, hopefully by writing it here I will feel relieve and have clearer picture of my directions and actions.

These few months I have been hit by health issues...Thefather, Thebrother and I unfortunately are inherited with high cholesterol problem. Thefather even having problem with his heart as one of his blood vessel is blocked. He needs to do operation but still seeking for second opinion and...he's kinda buying time now thinking by eating natural ingredients supplement will help. Thebrother's cholesterol level has dropped a lil and hopefully it will continually drop.

As for me, cholesterol level has risen and I was referred to a dietitian. Basically I have to watch my diet and do more exercise. Hmm...just in case you are wondering, yes the lazy bum me have been hitting the gym whenever I have the time. I'm doing it twice a week, that's before my Seoul trip. Ever since I'm back, I'm still recovering from post-traveling depression (Ya I came up with that term) so please excuse me from being lazy.

On friday, I thought I will work from home and enjoy the long weekend with family and friends. I woke up seeing my ceiling turning 360 degree, having the urge to vomit...close eyes and try to catch more sleep thinking maybe is because I have been sleeping quite late since I'm back from Seoul, no it didn't work.

I vomited twice, giddiness stays...I cried. Just can't take it anymore so I cried. This is not the fist time I suffered. It wasn't long ago, in September, I had food poisoning. Gosh I can't stress more how much I hate vomiting. That urge to vomit and you have nothing to throw up, SUCKS! Anyway. back to giddiness...parents drove me to the clinic. Doctor said the urge to vomit comes in a package with giddiness. My blood pressure was 80/50, super low. He said the reason of sudden drop in blood pressure is because of stress.

Stress? Am I really that stress? Friends asked when I told them about what happened to me. Honestly, I don't feel THAT stress. Work wise I'm just doing what I should do, at least I thought so. So I'm curious if stress is the answer to my sudden drop in blood pressure...as of now, shall take it as it is.

With the food poisoning and low blood pressure problem, all the more I feel I should be doing what I want to than living a robot life. We seriously do not know what will happen next. SERIOUSLY! Thus, I have quit my current job.

Speaking of current job, some of you may comment that I'm a quitter. I'm too comfortable with previous job, environment and colleagues so I'm not used to the sudden change of environment. To be honest, I questioned myself many times about this issue. It is not about the sudden change. I know this deep down my heart. Somehow this new working environment just doesn't seem right. There isn't anything wrong with it so take it as just me, me who can't fit in.

Why I don't spend longer time to "fit in" and find out why the not-right-feeling existed in the first place? Well, call me an impatient person...whenever I feel it isn't right, it is hard to convince myself to be patient and find out more. It isn't right anymore so it affects your judgement along the way hence the outcome will be still negative...why waste time? I feel guilty for wasting other people's time and will be regret for wasting my own time.

So by now you would ask what's next? Found a new job? Surprise you a little, I'm not looking for job. Not now. I will not be looking into event line anymore. Somehow I'm not looking forward to it anymore. If I have to look for job in future, it will be fashion line or wedding planner. Ya something different but still my interest :)

In the mean time, you will be seeing me at dance events. I will be handling events for Raydio Dance Academy. Will work on more projects that's not only dance focused but involve ART. A field where is lack of attention in our country. Hopefully there are opportunities knocking on our door as I know we have the ability just lacking of luck or would say, opportunity. Let's see how things go...I bet it will be awesome, right right right? ^^

I know I'm taking the risk of being broke since I will not have fix salary monthly. I'm definitely fear of my future but if I don't give this a try now, I may not have the chance in future. Parents have been supportive over this crazy idea so with their blessing I believe it will work out!

I did not introduce a project I did with my friend, Pui Yeen here yet. Garage, an online store which sells bubbly vintage clothing. We both are sucker for vintage stuffs...from toys to of course clothing hence the start of this project. We hand pick all of our clothing hence rest assured about the quality. Parents brought me up to Genting house so I can rest more. Ironically, I'm blogging using work laptop. Trying real hard to refrain myself from checking work emails.

Red Soul, an acapella group from Seoul, Korea. Thanks to Mei Fenn for introducing them to me. Their vocal makes you go "awwww~hou lam!" Too bad I can't make it to their events in Malaysia. Hope they will be visiting Malaysia soon or see them in Seoul in October! ^^

Previous posts were about the obstacles of buying SS4 Bangkok concert tickets. Despite the obstacles, we managed to purchase concert tickets with the help of Bangkok friends. We are really thankful for having new friends who are helpful. It is like meeting someone who offer water in desert.

Friday night, the taxi driver who drove us to Impact Arena scare us to death. He accidentally knocked the side mirror of the car next to him. The lady honked for a few times but he ignored. All the way, he break for no reason. He drove in between of the lanes =__________________=" Well, we arrived the concert venue safely.

Saturday was our shopping day :) Went to MBK to meet up with Aunty Jeab. She was interested to listen to our fandom story hehehe! She was shocked listening to fans' stories of lining up overnight and how fast the tickets were sold XD

Then we went to Chatuchak market. We were basically burning ourselves, managed to buy a few things before heading to Siam Paragon to meet up another Thai friend. While waiting for Nikki, we saw LG's advertisement on a shop's entrance! Was acting like siao girls, took pictures with the doors LOL!

Sunday, last day of concert. We bought Rock Zone tickets but decided not to line up overnight. Arrived around 1pm, we had lunch then saw the queue was quite long for our zone, we sat at a corner. Probably the hot weather + tired walking last few days, we give up queuing up. We were the last 20 to queue up, didn't expect to have tight security for a concert. We were checked from head to toe, every single compartments in our bags were checked...

It is exhausting to be in Rock Zone. 4 hours of standing, I can't feel my legs after concert. Of course it was worth it. They were standing, dancing in front of us...it was so close! Not to mention about the specs we threw on stage, Hae picked it up! Meifenn managed to find the video! She found the video of us holding banners too, we were really excited seeing ourselves appearing in the video LOL! Usually, we watched fancam which we were not involve hence when we see us in the video...we are really excited XD

I didn't regret going through all the obstacles because I have new friends! We meet up with Thai and Hong Kong friends, make new friends from Vietnam in the airport while lining up to check in. It's really fun meeting new people sharing the same interest. We may not meet each other often but keep in touch in Twitter/Facebook.

Hmm...as expected, we miss them badly after the concert. Watching fancam aren't helping :( Nothing much we can do though. Work harder and save even harder will bring us closer to them.

Lastly, Meifenn and Laine, I had fun with both of you and glad to share the memory with you two <3 That special experience may not express well in words but we know the ups and downs :)

Lee Yee, my cousin sister and Mei Fenn, a long-time friend, whether we are blood related doesn't matter because we appreciate each other and cherish the moment we had together.

I used to camwhore almost everyday. Now, I hardly take out my camera. I want to truly enjoy the moment instead of thinking how to capture the moment. Hence, I seldom blog as I don't know like blogpost with only words. Too dry.

I'm still in a fan mode from the roller coaster weekend :) Hand shake, waist and 3 shocking tweets. I'm contented.

The graphic presented at the concert is awesome!
Lee Hom playing the white piano in the air singing his famous ballad, I'm in heaven :)
My favourite part of the concert would be his Acapella performance!
Went to the hotel and waited at the lobby. Told him "Lee Hom, great performance" He smiled :) Didn't expect him to offered his hand for a hand shake, I turned away and looked back...his hand is there! Yes, waiting for my respond haha! Shook hand and shiver all the way to send him off to the hotel lift. I'M A HAPPY GIRL! XD
Last but not least, we have a group picture with him...nah, his lookalike drummer :) He's a nice person who bothers to layan us LOL!

Mine started off adventurous, followed by stress and emo.

Drove all the way to Tanjung Malim with colleagues to eat Fried Kuey Teow, Black Pepper soup beehoon and Hokkien Mee. It was good :) Before departing, my colleague's car battery died. We were busy asking for help at Shell station. Good experience haha!

That was Friday. My Saturday wasn't good. Love the companion but the issue that we faced...we were basically quite speechless and helpless. We wished we are rich enough to just fly and buy the tickets ourselves. We troubled so many people that I think we need to be vegetarian for a month to repay wtf.

Our tools for the day! 4 phones + 2 laptops. If we were checking out deals on stock market, I bet we are millionaires now. Too bad we were finding solution to spend our hard earn money =___________="

Well, Sunday was a girls' outing :) Since I can't bare my black roots, is time to touch-up! Had lunch with long-time-no-see Jarli and Chye Li at hmm....rather far restaurant. They serve good tomyam! Will be back for the seafood.

Followed by hair-do at Chye Li's regular hair stylist. My first time visiting and probably will be back to do treatment. Had lots of fun chatting with the hair stylist. She's fun! XD

No, our hair color is not red. We don't know why it turn out red in photo hahaha!

Well, basically I'm still very much stress and emo over concert tickets in Bangkok! I don't know how to explain, it is a long story.

God, I know you are testing us on our love towards the boys. We can firmly say we love them very much, so pretty please bo bi us to get nice seated tickets on 16th March? Pretty pretty please! =D

Have been living a stressful week This time is not about work but concert ticket. I have never as stress as I am now about concert ticket. Never!

Laine, Meifenn and I will be attending Super Show 4 in Bangkok. We thought we can buy through website but is not as simple we thought it is. Firstly, the website is in Thai. Google translated the website but is not helping. Seriously, at this stage we are quite pissed. Well, we felt so helpless hence the frustration.

Secondly, we tweet-ed various parties to inquiry on more information about purchasing concert tickets. Unfortunately, 50% of the information said it is possible for oversea fans to purchase, 50% said no way to purchase from the website. Ok, we are even more pissed and frustrated.

Well, I guess we still have a lil luck with us. Contacted my mom's colleague in Bangkok, she offered to help! Her email is like the ray of light shining from heaven. I'm not kidding but that was how I felt! I replied with preferred and alternative choices for her to purchase the tickets. Hope she's not frighten by my email though. Owe her big big time!

Haven't receive any reply from her yet but hopefully everything goes smoothly. I cannot bare receiving anymore bad news.

Despite the fact that nobody can help us with the tickets, I'm glad that I have friends who are really helpful in offering to ask around for me, and also to a few who replied my tweets and take the effort to explain to me. I TRULY appreciate all your efforts :)

If this happens for other artistes' concert, I would have give up. But I guess I'm very much in love with them or not I wouldn't put myself in this stressful situation. Super Junior, now you know how much I'm in love with you all which I myself didn't know until yesterday.

Now, please pray hard for us that we get the concert tickets (better still with preferred seats). We need to be in the concert hall!

As you can see from my blog, all pictures are gone! Don't ask why because I don't know either. I'm not uploading the pictures again. Perhaps my blog is hinting me to blog more often, so it punished me by hiding all my pictures! =/

CNY is not my favourite festival. I guess is the weather. I'm never a fan of hot weather, would rather shiver with snow around me than roasting myself and worst thing, TAN! Well, I do treasure the time spent with family (especially cousins), friends and colleagues :)

Well, I make a few wish when I "Lou Sang". Sincerely hoping it will happen =)
