My Orthodontic Story

Hi there.

I almost couldn't believe that I would be this happy having my teeth twisted and tighten with wire and colorful ligatures giving me such uncomfortable feeling and aches occasionally. Seriously, these tiny little metals aren't making my life any easier, but why I'm so elevated with it?..*snickers* Let me start with how I make my decision to visit my dentist.

At the age of 12, my teeth started to show signs of imperfect alignment when my adult canine tooth pierces out from my upper gum while the baby one is staying still at its position. Dad has no choice but to route me to get it removed at a nearby dental clinic right after class. That was one of my dental nightmares as you can imagine the force needed to extract a healthy strong teeth, not to even mention the pain. Alright, since it's removed, I thought it was a relief until I realized two of my central incisors are moving slightly outwards and the lateral incisors moving inwards. Worse still, that canine didn't came down but remain high up and slanted in my upper gums. That was when I knew that I can never smile with confident anymore.

God knows why the crookedness got even serious years after years and disaster happened when my upper wisdom teeth trying hard to find their ways out. My right front incisor was forced out in a twisted way until I couldn't close my mouth completely. Self-confident level drastically dropped till I never take photo with an open smile. You can tell from all the past photos I've uploaded in the past.

No, I wasn't brave enough to do the major change mainly because I'm too afraid of the procedure. Thinking of having 4 of my teeth removed already got me goosebumps. So I told myself, okay just let it be. Then miracle happened, my courage was triggered the day I met up my coursemates for a gathering to find that two of them have just started orthodontics procedure, I don't see the fear in their eyes and one of them told me that, she just wanna see how she'll look like with tidily aligned teeth and that will last forever. Ok, I decided that I wanted to go through the procedure as well. This is sorta like peer influence and support. So, spontaneously the next day after I got home from the gathering, I asked my mum to accompany me to the dentist to get it started. So that's how I finally found my courage to make a change.

(Yes, my lower wisdom teeth are 180° horizontally align)

The procedure didn't start with an ease of mind. After my jaw bone structure was diagnosed, it turned out to be a very saddening news from the dentist. My lateral incisors were in a very terrible condition, decayed resulting from the crookedness that lasted for years. I was given two options whether to extract the pair of first premolars like a normal procedure and get root canal extractions & crowning after which costs another few more thousands per lateral incisor OR remove the lateral incisors, left only the front incisor and get the canine polished/reshape like a pair of incisors. I got really down and dilemma. My dentist let me home to make my mind up before proceeding. Main concern was that I cannot accept the fact that I'll be left with only two teeth in the front and it's gonna last for maybe a year until the gaps are closed. I'll look like a clown to the public. Had a lot of discussion with my mum and decided to go with the first option.

Depression, was what conquered me for the whole week during my recovery from tooth extraction until I finally get to stick on that tiny little metals on my teeth. Hooray!!

I got super freaking damn excited that I keep taking pictures of my teeth. The above photo was when the brackets are up without the soft wire yet.

Everyone probably heard of how painful it is during the first few days. Indeed it was painful, but not till that extend I expected so I'm pretty well with it. No solid food for the first 5days. And yea, I'm quite that kind who picks what I can and what can't eat. So, it didn't hurt me too much. However, the scratching part of the brackets hurt till the max, I got my inner mouth skin torn in many areas for more than a month because my dentist ran out of braces wax. OMG, that was a disaster.

I got this braces wax only after 1 and a half month installing that brackets, and this little things really came to rescue. After that, I'm cool without it.

I keep my mask with me most of the time like this for the first few months. In the beginning, mask came into the frame is because I look like an idiot with only 2 front teeth & W/O braces, then I got so used to covering with mask all the time until I didn't know when to remove it even after brackets.

Days after days, I'm getting used to it, finally get the confidence back, I speak and smile happily with my missing teeth. I feel that braces add on extra bliss to my smile especially when I can play with color ligatures.

I took photos every month after my appointment to see the results of the movement and each appointment makes me happy knowing that I'm getting closer to a nicely aligned teeth.

By the way, eating outside can be nasty sometimes because all the pieces of food stuck and tangle all over my braces looking like an idiot when I wanna talk. And I'm quite conscious with it whenever they stuck. So I can't help heading to the basin every time after meal to get them wash up, you'll be surprise with the amount of junks you spit out after gargling, and it's pretty disgusting,

A Good Start

Dear diary,

I've skipped reading for quite an extended time. No new inputs, no new ideas. My general knowledge level is stagnant as I didn't even keep track with global news, worst of all, not even the latest domestic drama in my own country. Living in my own world can be quite a comfortable life while I've a protective shelter from my family against the horrible threats.

Everyday routine can be bored, but it's a least dramatic way, just to keep my mind at ease. Just months ago, I got fed up balling myself up with frustration and all the unwanted thoughts, so I start up a new life, in a healthier way. A bonus for me to keep myself occupied at the same time shaping myself up to be better. Maybe you'll wonder, what hit me into this change. Well, the answer is abs. Of all sudden, a girl with that sport bralet showing off that feminine muscular line on her abs is so sexy. So that's basically where the motivation came into my way. Oh and yea, I'm quite determined and persistent for the first time in my life I would say. I started with basic sit-ups and plank to activate my innate muscle cells to slowly find that I love the post work out sore on my muscle and sweaty skin which results my with supple skin. And then I go deeper and serious with working out by doing my research on the effective ways to achieve that sought after body. The focus goes further from abs to thighs, and my fore limbs.

I realized that if I would to conduct my work out in and ONLY in a proper gym with all the facilities, I would have given up easily because ain't nobody have the time to travel up and down through the traffic in the middle of the city. So I decided to pick up baby steps of working out in the comfort from home. With that said, I have no any other better reason to skip. A mission that's possible anytime and anywhere. Thus, no excuses. The feel of contentment blossoms when that semi-visible lines on my abs started to say 'hi' when I reflect myself into the mirror. I clearly know that's just the beginning, not something be shown off yet, and it will soon fade off if I pause my regime. Not a very stable stage.

I took every chances to work out when I found the existence of gym in places I planned to visit. Soon enough, I was introduced to a gym ran by my seniors from high school less than a kilometer away from where I live. Now that I have options, at times when I've the energy and spirit, I'll head out to work out in gym because it's a lot more intensive and my personal trainer is quite strict insisting us to finish all steps before we can leave. Speaking of 'us' and 'we', I've my best gym mate aka BFF to work our ass off together. At times I work out in my room on a lazy day.

That's not all, I've totally eliminated my owl life. Heading to bed before 12am is a must or I'll suffer from sleep deprivation the next day in office. If I'm not dated, I'll just hit the sack after working out at about 10am or earlier. But before reaching slumber land, I'll consume beauty essences like prune essence and collagen drinks. I started this out in a daily consumption routine for about a month and then carry on with daily interval. I must say these beauty essences are doing me great, I can feel my skin getting plumper because of the firmness. I'm trying to embrace the phrase that beauty comes from within so I'll start from diet, a healthier life. Please don't get me wrong, I'm never on a diet to get slim.

ATV Jungle Trekking @ Cahaya SPK

The lost of interest in writing can somehow relate to the change in my life. I'm here trying hard to find the reason for this change, can it be that my days have gone less meaningful (to myself) despite all the cool activities I'm participating, can it be that there's this living bone in me went missing, or can it be that I just wanna keep those memories to myself. I've no answer to myself, all that I know is, there's these photos hidden in my folder for a very long time and I have this thought to post them here.

For today's post, I decided to pick this folder of photos that captured my utmost challenging adventure with my BFF at Mudtrekkerz Paintball Park for a jungle trekking with an uber cool ride, ATV. Ok, it's cool by its look, but it's too challenging, for me only. Why I said so, let me begin.

Let me take a selfie before I get this started, after all, we're early that morning.

They also have this super cool paintball battlefield for those paintball lovers to rent. I'm not quite sure about the details, but I saw comers bringing their personal paintball guns and protection suit, so I advise you to get sufficient details from the owner before booking.

Now this is my shot. Vroom vroom.

Ok, I failed in riding this god damn junk to the training ground. I lost control on a straight track and hit a tree. Yea, you didn't got it wrong, it's a straight track. We had a few rounds of training on the training ground before we hit the jungle.

She got her ride pretty well in control throughout the journey, whereas, me.........

I fell off from the track into the slanted piece of ground. I was luck that I didn't flung out. So the guiders helped me out in pulling up my ride. Not just this, I kept get stuck at an angle not being able to move anymore and then again and again the guiders have to help me out, I bet they were fed up on me. T.T

And then the worst part happened, my ride slipped and I got flung out onto the mud. My ride almost overturned and fall onto the me which was laying on the muddy ground.

Yes, the mud stained all over me, my butt was hurt and bruises on my legs. I got frighten and wondered should I continue, my palms were hurt by holding the steering grip hard enough to control the ride which were being against by the bumpy road. I switched to a smaller ATV and continued. I wasn't that convinced and with much worries, I painstakingly complete the whole journey. Feeling like, ahhhhhhh.... finally. What a shame. I can't believe the fact that I can handle a car so well but why not this ATV?

This is somewhat a very challenging activity for an indoor girl like me, trust me, it ain't easy. I don't really enjoy it but I love the experience. Ok, it's time to get clean and go for a brunch. We randomly walked in Crave Cafe to settle our famishing stomach.

It's incredible that Crave Cafe has a very spacious interior nicely decorated in a very comfy design. Many table games provided to kill time and so we took the doodle board to scribble our friendship.

Friends forever. :)

And we decided to display our friendship on the rack before we left the cafe. Teehee.

The last picture has pretty much sums up my adventurous day with ATV experience. Till my next entry.

Worthy Deals @ Worthy Book Ladies Edition

Holly. It's been long since I'm away. How ya all?

There's been many things going on lately and they are the reasons behind for my disappearance. Anyhow, let's talk about it other time. Well, I just wanted to share something great here that I've been using, which is this Worthy Book. So, I got this Worthy Book Ladies Edition 2014-2015 that has everything a girl wants to have at a good bargain. From shopping to beauty to fashion to sport health and wellness. What a female heaven, drooling huh?.

It takes me quite awhile to blog this out as I wanted to utilize most of the stuff this book has to offer. Let me take you to tour my journey with Worthy Book.

I checked on this cash voucher from The Body Shop and was pretty happy to sign myself up to their online shopping site. Spotted this clay mask sheet and decided to just add it into my cart.

It arrived to my door step a day after my purchased. How efficient it is. *Thumbs up*

Next up, my intimate journey with Bubble Gum Wax. How great it is that I brought my BFF to join me for a free underarm and half leg waxing. I've been with Bubble Gum Wax for quite sometimes already and I really love their service to be frank. Of all the waxing and IPL experiences I had, this is best. How I define best? Well, their beauticians are very affable, plus, upon the process, they are very professional and gentle. From time to time, they try to calm you down by having the right conversation to keep your attention away from the mild pain at the same time cheering you up (To be frank, I'm a waxing freak and I don't feel pain at all).

I do sign up for their IPL packages because they are very worthy and not to mention they have the best service. So why not? :)

I never like hot weather, but I love sauna. Ecoparadise has this antioxidant hotbed therapy that helps to release body statics and radicals which help your skin

This shall be the best part. OK, we got two passes for Celebrity Fitness free trial for 5 days and there goes our gym spirit. Macam yes. Yea I'm not a sport or exercise person but hell yea I'm so anticipated in this. Packed all my sport attire and and combed all my hair up in a pony tail and I'm readyyy.

Let's take a look at my 5 days gym experience with Celebrity Fitness.

Sorry to tell that I wasn't that knowledgeable when comes to exercise, all I did was follow the instruction that's written on each machine on how the mechanism works. And I'll do it for a good 10-15mins.

No joke okey, I really sweat bucket. My mind and soul were quite determine to push myself forward.

I must say they have a wonderful dressing room!! Mad love this place lo. It would be great to have all you biatches together for a makeover. :)

And then I had my sauna session about 20mins every time after work out. Extra perspiration and I'm loving that soft skin of mine after releasing those toxic sweat from my body. I feel so much better.

Right after we get ourselves groomed, let us take a selfie. :)

The Perks of Being A Mermaid

Greetings.

I think most of you have seen the photos of me in Facebook being one of the fairytale characters, Ariel *smirk*. Just kidding. But yea, I did enjoyed myself being a mermaid. I took up this introductory class of mermaid hosted by one of my childhood swimming coach, Mr. Dolphin Lee, for a day. Words couldn't explain how excited I was despite being a little nervous wondering if I could swim without my legs moving freely in the water. Then those nonsense thoughts begun, I may drown (I can swim in fact), I can't open my eyes in the water, can I keep that stunning look like a mermaid or a dumbass mermaid wannabe. Then the worries go on.

Nevertheless, I still need to go on. It was fun picking the fins that matches our swim wear. I was in forest green so I snatched the green one. Well, actually all of us were in variant swim wear colors, so there's no need to fight for one. Oh, one more thing, it ain't easy to put on that fairytale fin.

We had a few rounds of practices on how to swim like a mermaid before we can officially put on the fin and swim like one, or else you'll drown. I really mean it. It's pretty difficult I must say, I almost gave up because I couldn't balance myself when I had my legs together and the fin makes it harder to flap each time I tend to make a move. But remember, practice makes perfect. I still made it though.

This would be my first time swimming without goggle. Damn it, it's fucking darn difficult to open my eyes in the water I swear but I couldn't understand why others can do it effortlessly even in the sea water, it's effing salt water man and how the hell they can make it?!! I tried, I made it, but I got nervous and couldn't control my breath with my eyes opened. So I can only open small small like mata sepet lo.. :)

Season To Be Jolly

Greetings.

Christmas has just passed I know. But it's about time I upload some of the joyful photos up here. Remember those years where I spammed my site with whole lotsa yuletide entries? Haha. Things got a little (or I should say extremely) different as life goes on. I'm less 'active' in all sorta fun things already. Fuck it man.

Anyhow, let the pictures do the talking. (I started to love selfie all over again)

*Christmas gift arrived earlier on Christmas eve.

It's like oh so random the besties happened to be in town for Christmas & I just can't miss out our catch up time.

We dressed up in a preppy theme with our new kitty cat head gear we got from Subang Parade weekend stalls. Just can't help flaunting with it while we stroll the malls. It's cool to have such a friend to go cuckoo with you whenever you're bored.

In a very good mood I harvested 2 pairs of ring at once. Meh, the quality is disappointing but the designs were absolutely great I must say.

Love this shot the most. I felt so loved.

Enjoyed the last day of Christmas holiday with le Dude before getting back to the dreadful reality. Oh, so sad.

Night of Fright | Halloween

Make some times out of the blue to blog about my Halloween night. Very rare huh?. Just cause I have a bad day today so I decided to drop everything and just go home get a warm shower & nasi kerabu for dinner. I'm yet to completely recovered from food poisoning though, but there goes my appetite towards nasi kerabu. *grins*
That nausea pangs attacked started on that Saturday evening when I was having meal with my BFF which I suspected the culprit to be the road side meehun I had that morning itself. It sorta brought down my hype awaiting to get an electric shock from the zombies in Sunway Lagoon Night of Fright. It is my first Halloween program by far and shit like this happened. Anyhow, I did manage to bear with the illness and kicked some arses. We went into several ghost houses and photos with the zombies. Finally, I got to put on my devil hair band prop for Halloween. Been waiting like forever to put it on.

There is this funny thing happened before our eyes when we were in one of the ghost house. Let me get it started. This group of teenagers with 2 girls, 1 straight guy & a feminine gay were the lead in front of us and their reaction upon each sudden approach by the zombies got us laughing my ass off especially when the feminine gay won't stop yelling & jumping like he got his derriere molested. So we decided to do something naughty to frighten this pity little guy, we made a sudden scream and he jumped up yelling 'WHAT!! WHAT!!'. We burst out laughing till we couldn't walk straight. I know right, we were that terrible. But hey, who cares?!

Munching Here & There

Great day folks.

I think that food is a better model than human as you don't need to ask them to smile in such a way that makes them look fabulous or pose to impress so that people will grant them a 'Like'. That pretty much explains why my site has more eatery photos than myself. I can just stand aside and let the food take its pride. Don't you think so too?

That one cloudy Sunday morning, I was all elated with the beautiful weather & anticipated for a wonderful breakfast feast. With that said, I had two separate breakfast, Chinese style followed with a Western hearty one.

Bopped on down to Sri Hartamas in search of this currently hot in everybody's talk when it comes to 'what to eat' topic. Now, here I am @BreadFruit. It's full house but luckily we didn't wait for long to be seated.

My kind of breakfast.

Wholesome Spanish Baked Eggs
Homemade baked beans, egg, pork bacon, arugula & toasted ciabatta.

Smoked Salmon Breakfast Platter
Smoked salmon, scramble egg, avocado & cherry tomato salad, lemon, arugula & sourdough.

Instead of choosing 1 beverage, I can have both coffee & fruit juices at the same time. Got myself a Wake Up Juice-concoction of strawberry, banana & orange. And then the complimentary black coffee & pure orange juice together from the breakfast combo. Best of both worlds.

And then I hopped on to US for a taste of authentic New York Pizza like a typical American.

Ironically I missed out the photos of pizza. Instead, I have fries. Kill me. I love the pizzas, or I should say I love pizzas. Deffo come back for more. Just in case you didn't know, it tasted better to eat with hands. Seriously. Forget about getting your hands dirty, pick it up & give it a good bite.

Ordered a surfin pizza @ Jibby & Co. which blow my mind away with its fresh muscles, shrimps & squids. Awesome. You hardly get fresh seafood ingredients when comes to pizza and yet they are so generous to top with so many pieces of marine creatures. Oh nom nom.

Before I end this post, let's get adored.

Get what I mean... Cute~~~ FLUFFY!! I'm rolling on my body. Look at it, ears down looking so innocent I wish I could bring this cutie pie home. Pretty please.

Musics & Feelings Are In One

Lately, I've gotten so into slow rhythm & sad songs. I try to get the meaning of the lyrics by just listening, not by reading. Interpret them, understand them, imagine them on real life & reflect them on myself. I ain't feeling good. In another word, I'm sad. People used to say, when one is at low, he/she will choose to blend into sad songs. That's pretty true though.

Jay Chou song is all over me now. He's like the prince of love. He makes good musics and I love his love songs most. Can you tell if a person who makes good love song has unforgettable experiences in relationship? Or a person like this is too emotional even when it's someone else love griefs? The song lyric 明明就 got me lingering if its true for what is happening now in me & the rhythm of 愛你沒差is looping in my head crying the pain out from my heart. It sounded so dramatic, no, it is indeed that dramatic.

Have It My Way

Speaking of holidays, I couldn't be happier than waking up to a beautiful breakfast and then hop back on my comfy bed till middle of noon then turn on my lappie watching dramas like nobody else business. Forget about vacations or short getaways in the meantime, they are way too energy draining my body just can't afford such activities. By the way, following were the yet-to-unveil photos of my past trips (wish that I can still have that energy to do so).

Simply wrapped myself up with a scarf to refrain my just-awaken-body shivering from the cold wind. I was just 80% conscious, you can tell from my puffy eyes. Anyhow, breakfast was good.

And then I drove down to Malacca myself for the first time in the late night to make a visit to my grandma together with mum. It's quite a pleasant journey when there's no glaring sunlight bothering my sight throughout the way.

Took a little stroll down to Jonker Street like a tourist visiting all the antique shops & museums. I don't usually visit Jonker Street unless there's guest. I can be a gracious host. :)

Dropped by this cafe which I don't remember its name. Funny huh?. Yea, I'm that forgetful. Anyhow, I was intrigued by its ambiance whereby you can get coffee with professional stains. I have many antique furniture & deco all around me.

I must say that I love this lamp most I wish that I could bring them home.

The desserts were a little too dry for my liking.

Had a lunch/tea session with the BFF @ Good Friend cafe which is my current favourite spot for breakfast & tea. Cause it's nearby? Perhaps so.

Hi Tea set. Best table talk time for girls. It's quite filling for two pax unless you come with an empty stomach (I mean no lunch). I love scones. They have such an amazing scones I must say. The jam provided has fruit pulps in it. Felt so pure like the apple has just squashed for serving purpose.

Great day peeps.

Posting backdated photos cause I didn't wanna waste such beautiful pictures hiding in my folder. They all went categorized as old photos due to the fact that I don't have the time to reveal it. OK, now that I've come clean. Back to the point, so on that gloomy afternoon, the BFF and I got down to Damansara to have that little chit chat with some desserts to nibble on. Unexpectedly, Tokyo Pastry is quite a small patisseries cafe but the interior was extraordinarily fine with antique pieces. I don't know why I fond over ancient stuffs especially those medieval European kind.

Take a look at the wall paper print & that gigantic wall clock hanging right in the middle of the wall.

To be frank, the pastries & desserts offered ain't nothing to be shouted about. They were just mere. I think we enjoyed the chat & read more under such an exquisite ambiance while it was pouring heavily outside and we got no where to escape.

Had a good read of Louis Vuitton Histoire(s) book, A JOURNEY THROUGH STORIES OF A LIFETIME, while sipping my cup of earl grey tea. It can be quite addictive when stories come with fashion. Believe me, if you're a fashion lover like me, you'll fall in love with this book.

Pitch Black

Kinda miss sprawling all my thoughts & feelings here like before when I would prioritized my very minimal leisure time for my diary corner. Sad to say that right now, I do rather slumber my day away just to feel alive. Now that you can tell how harsh my work life is. I'm falling here & there. Add a little mishap left & right. Sometimes I really did wondered why am I still living, like what the eff, this is no human being things. Beastly. Brutal. And whatever shit you wanna call it.

Lately, the latent stress I've been silently letting in has gradually building up the anxiety in me and gone worsen when it is made conscious on my physical. I hate to admit the fact that, I'm utterly weak & brittle right now. I'm dying for cares, loves & supports. A mortal without a soul is like a body without antibody hopelessly permeate insecurities in destroying one inside-out ferociously till the extend whereby living is the most painful option ever.

I let go my dignity, egoism & reputation just for a hope, because I put all my heart in as I trust this is what I wanted. I was beaten down to disappointment when all I got was a word "choice-less". You've gotta be kidding me. After surviving from the frigging tornadoes, hurricane and tsunami hit, you just have to throw an apocalypse in. Like what the heck you want from me.

You can take away my everything, but please give me a good reason. I can be that generous if I think it's worth doing so. I was compelled to changed unwillingly to become a very not-myself person. Nevertheless, I sorta love it cause I got so brave. Brave to even take that bullet if I have to.

I can wait, but do not keep me hanging aimlessly. I need to know what I should be expecting and not till I got an empty shell. My heart is now dead. I wish to be vanished.

[Food Review]

Teas, coffees, desserts or pastries are my kinda mental therapy and I love lounging over a soothing ambient savoring every bite of that moist cheese cake & sip of tea. Together with Sharon, Kelvin & Jason, we visited IsMe Beauty & Cafe @ Jalan Walter Grenier. Never could I imagine there is such an exquisite cafe at the nook behind the alley of Lot 10. Ironically, I was late for more than an hour due to Friday evening traffic. That was outrages that I caught up in the jam for 2 hours. *rolling eyes*

With that said, I missed out some of the main courses & desserts. Well, that's okay, I tasted more than enough by the way. Before I get into the yummilicious part, here are some of the insights of IsMe Beauty & Cafe.

Coffee is delicious but do you know that it has a beauty secret? ♨ Chocolate Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream.

Every girl loves chocolate, my god. The richness of hot melt chocolate dressing all over the brownie & that twist of vanilla kick. That's heavenly good.

♨ Blueberry cheesecake

Believe it or not, I finished this all by myself. Literally.

Us @ MTV World Stage 2014

I can already feel the aches all over my body the moment I got down from my bed. No, not just because it's MTV World Stage last night, again I was all packed with work errands & personal activities. Every night I came back home with this energy-drained-off body I can't even bother to clean myself up. Can you imagine that sorta knackeredness and it's been on like this for consecutive days. All that happenings came unplanned. I'm prompted for every of that sudden invitations. Say yes. Ok, let's get real, I needed some rest.

So that Friday night I got a call from my BFF that we're going for MTV World Stage to roll as VIP. That sounded so cool cause I missed out the one in 2012 when Justin Bieber was the hottest line up but I have to give out my tix cause I wasn't available in KL. This time round, I don't wanna miss out, not forgetting I was so tired after hanging out with my boyfriend the whole day and I still save some of the energy for the evening.

When the sun goes down, I got myself ready with a midriff top and some stick on tattoos on my waist & ankle. Funny or not, the BFF & I did those tattoos in the car instead of in the washroom. It's crazy when comes to the need of water to damp the stickers.

Here we go, ready to rock the evening like VIP.

Wasn't even packed that night. The performance started with Thaitanium, Boys Republic, Yuna and lastly B.O.B which was what everyone was waiting for. Oh well, we aren't familiar with the line ups that night so we were solely on our own joy.

Sweaty!!! It's hot and that's for sure. And my flats were full with sands I can have natural scrubs on my feet. #wtf.

Overall, nothing much to scream about this year's MTV World Stage. I wish they could have more Billboard artists on stage.

In The Garage

Good day folk.

Like finally, I have a day off last Sunday. *hopping here & there* *screaming out of joy* *roll happy tears*. That taxing few weeks, 13 hours of work non-stop although it's Raya Holiday, I made it through. Obviously, I'm wilted. My body is currently like in the state without a soul. All that I need is a long eye shut to restore that energy to restart my overhauled-engine. At times, I do wonder, is it worth doing so, I mean like investing all my time & effort in my work just cause I'm that committed when it comes to work. Because of this commitment, time passed so fast before I could realize that year end is approaching and I have done nothing for myself but in turned I let in too much trouble to breach into my life. Argh, work-life balance, a very difficult principle to practice in life.

I love cars. I always do. I'm confident enough to claim that I'm good in driving, just a little reckless nevertheless. My passengers always complain how scary I drive, nah, I'll make sure everyone reaches safely.

The other day at AutoDetailer garage.

Had my late night catch up @Garage 51.

Had a cup of their signature Mochatella. It was an amazing cup of caffeinated drink man. I salute their creativity by making a drink out of Nutella chocolate drenched with milk & a cubes of coffee made ice.

Yo!! I want my life back. I just wanna live a little.

Teleport Back In Time

That Sunday morning, breakfast was good and I was all elated until I received a shocking news that my ex-classmate was involved in a dreadful accident and the most unfortunate thing was, she left us all to heaven. We were once close together when we were in high school although we have different skin colour and different races, but I lost contact with most of my classmates since graduation. Nevertheless, that doesn't excludes me from grieving for the lost of a friend. It's like a wake up call to treasure people around me before it's too late. To you my friend, rest in peace.

Something ancient, something exquisitely rustic can really catch my attention. One of my good friends did mentioned to me the wonder of this little museum and said that it's worth visiting and we shall check ourselves in someday. Before that can happen, I brought mum along so that she can reminisce her childhood or her days in the past cause after all, she's from the 50's.

The alley was narrow and every little corner was carefully stationed with antiques that it's so crowded I couldn't focus every bits. They were amazing by the way.

For the record, I love this picture most for some reasons. On a funnier note, after posting this up on Facebook, many friends of mine claimed that the scene/photo exude that kinda eerie feel. Well I think that many things that are old and under dim light, they create some sorta impression of cold & spooky. Don't you think so?

The scene I fret most is, whatever things that I'm using now will be in the museum one day. For example, look what I spotted?

But I just left UTAR a year ago. Why is it on shelf already? #wtf

So that day, me and some other girls were invited to try out the Japanese Street Food Promotion that Sushi King is holding. We got to trigger out taste buds with all the above mentioned dishes. They were amazing. I love the Spicy Salmon that has the chili flakes on bring salmon sushi a whole new level.

Next up, the takoyaki. How funny that we took so many pictures till the takoyaki was cold already and we requested for another plate to add on. They were good.

This will be the most interesting part among all. Ramune. This is my first time experiencing ramune. It's a refreshing soda and the way of drinking is very catchy. Remember, it's a soda, so never to shake it or it'll just burst out upon opening. You can always request for assistance from the waiters or waitresses of how to drink Ramune. And you can keep the marble inside the bottle.

I didn't realize since when I started to hang out so frequent with my BFF that we had so much interests and topics in common we just can't help sticking to each other. And the week earlier, I decided to invite her to join me for a BFF makeup party held by Beauty Creative Lab aka BCL @ Mandom office. We were so anticipated that we had a girls evening over my crib the day before to pick dresses to match the party theme which is Blue. Laying on the bed watching Clicknetwork Tried & Tested clips by Shu An and chat our evening away till the clock hit midnight. #girls

Girls Talk @ Fahrenheit 600

Good day folks.

This time round, we set our beauty appointment a little too early in the morning but who cares, early bird gets worms. We had the rest of the day all by ourselves right after getting our delicate skin detoxified.

We did selfie again while waiting for my beautician whom was late. I find it funny that the both of us haven't been applying makeup for a very long time since we started skin peeling sesh at Beute & Vie but we buey paiseh to take photos *face palm*. le BFF kept complaining for she felt so naked without her eye brow done and I just won't stop giggling at her.

By the time we're done, both were famished and we decided to head down to Publika for brunch. Initial plan was to get a seat at The Red Beanbag, but it's full house and we thought that why waiting if there's so many cafes around. Thus, we got down to Fahrenheit 600 which is just directly a floor down from The Red Beanbag. Not a bad choice actually. Girls, they have hunks as their waiters.

This restaurant is owned by 2 Iranians & a Polish and they got their interior setting just like US coffee shop.

Love my long curly locks although it's a little bit messy. I can't imagine myself with short hair again. But wait, when was the last time I had short hair?!

There was this awkward moment whereby upon ordering, le BFF said I Love New York and I followed by saying I Love California. The waiter smiled, because the breakfast sets named after US states, that's why. Our American big breakfast sets were scrumptious with toasts & eggs except that chicken sausage that was less tender to my like.

We sat till 3pm chit chatting, watching Jinny Boy's videos & magazines. Thinking back, I rarely have this kinda hangout with female friends whereby we do silly things together, we check out new stores & we are so into nail stuffs. There's gonna be more & more I hope. But one thing I know is, I'm so gonna be broke. Haha.

I Don't Deserve It

How a week had passed just like that. Again it's Friday. I am profoundly unhappy throughout the week, as a matter of fact. Too much pressures, too much confusions & too much commotions. I'm on the verge of tearing apart. Screaming my lungs out I just wanna quit. I mean it seriously. Every morning I pervaded by fecklessness, reluctantly start the car engine to where I supposed to report myself at. That kinda feeling is like soaking self up in a big pool of shit I would suicide.

It's clearly that I'm pretty much a grumpy one here recently. I sighed a lot and I started cursing just cause everyone is picking on me. Whether or not, I have to be the only one, you heard me, the ONLY ONE in the whole wide universe to be picked on. Maybe it's some sort of pleasure to a few of them for doing so, what a demented mortals. Or I might be the one they felt threaten to their bird brains, then I would be flattered.

Whatever it is, I just wanted a night I can ease myself a little (by ranting). The rest of the shit, I'll deal with it later or next time.

Breakfast & Coffee

Just so I'm that sorta freak who wakes up @#$%^& early in the morning literally everyday albeit I'm not clocking in to work (can't believe the change in me huh), I can't help but to serve my tummy something hearty, big & meaty. I would go all out hunting down some of those restaurants that serve breakfast, when I talk about breakfast, I mean those real breakfast, and roasted cup of coffee.

I love toasts, bacon, mushrooms, poach eggs, sausages, grilled tomatoes, cheese, pancakes & maple syrup for my breakfast. And it can't be completed without sipping that nicely brewed coffee. It sort of like giving me that wake up call.

Headed to Mr. & Mrs Cafe to find that it wasn't a very good choice as we needed to wait long enough before we could be seated. Well, I have that impatient characteristic if you didn't know. Nevermind, I got to play around with their props while waiting the food to be served.

The breakfast there was just mere considering the price. I did have a good pancake but not the cereals & fruit dices.

Found a new place of love in the heart of Subang called Good Friends. I love how it named its restaurant and made me feel like it has so much loves in it.

Perfectly done omelet, thyme seasoned mushrooms, whole meal toasts & flavor-fully dressed fresh salads. I couldn't get enough of the omelet. The mochacinno was my first try. I didn't knew what was it until I google searched. Knowledge for sharing, mochacinno is cappuccino made with a blend of chocolate. It has that sorta rough texture and every sip tasted strong enough to my like.

Thank god that 24hrs drive-thru Starbucks outlet is just a few miles away from where I live. The best thing about it is, they serve savory meals instead of just pastries & cakes. For me, the lasagna is fine, but not the rest of the pastas.

What a good way to kick start my day.

Over The Weekend

Seriously, giving a title for an entry without a particular happening is quite a pain in ass. I could have just sprawl all my thoughts in the content box but it just doesn't feel right to go without a title. Don't you agree?

If you noticed, there are times when I'm so actively updating this site with all my bits & bobs but after awhile, I went missing. Throughout the year, my journey is struck with uncertainties and I can't plan my days ahead because none of the days are routinely spent. My lifestyle is a little imbalance or rather inadequate. So I started to tell myself, try to be conscious on the time I spend in workplace and make sure I'm doing my part, not 'charity'. Since then, I allocated more time for myself and I looked into more of my thoughts and how to resolve some of the predicaments I have long dragged. At the same time ensconce myself in a more comfortable way at home.

Few weeks back, I made myself available for weekends. I wanted a laid back rest day but ironically I was all booked with beauty appointments. Of course, it wasn't something bad, but the amount of time took and traveling distance can be quite exhausting. I'm that weak & fragile I know. Anyhow, I did had a good weekend that I grudged on Sunday night cause Monday is approaching.

Had a little shopping spree @ Zalora.com.my cause I wanna use up the cash voucher I got it as a token from my sponsored review payoff. Shopping gets a little too fun to begin with if you're shopping without involving a single dime I swear. I literally spent 5 hours browsing through the accessory section yet I still can't make my decision on which items into the cart. Nevertheless, I'm contented by just browsing through over hours only to make up my mind the next day. #girlsbeinggirls

I took the risk by getting my hands on statement neckless which I never once owned. I was quite skeptical in the first place cause I didn't knew whether could I pull it off together with the outfits in my wardrobe. Surprisingly, it added on the extra zest in my dressing and I'm loving it.

Last Saturday, just cause I'm bored mingling around in the mall after my IPL session, I tend to do something silly; something that I haven't done in a very long time. Selfie in the washroom. I mean like, this sorta thing was what I would have done in my teenage years. I'm sucks in selfie trust me. Nonetheless, I started to selfie again after getting along with the girls. I think that I would prefer groupfie over selfie cause it's not fun taking a picture that has only my face on it.

Was on a casual easygoing look. A white top paired with denim pants, a recyclable bag & a cap and I'm good to go.

This new love that has just got its spotlight in my collection. To be frank, I have yet to open it up simply because the wrapping is too pretty.

Shop shop shop. I don't used to shop in the past, but once I find that I can financially support myself, this kinda therapy turn out to be more appealing to me. That's not a very good hobby I know. But one thing I realize about myself is the fact that I would splurge if I wasn't in a very good mood. I would told myself that, it's alright, I'm tired of being treated like this & like that, I wanna treat myself something. There goes the purchasing spirit. Scary me. Haha.
