Home swap and sale!

2013-07-04T03:48:00.002-07:00

Home swap and sale party is all about having fun with your girlfriends. All unwanted clothes you can either swap for some of the other girls clothes or sell.

Last night was really hard for me, but at the same time I am really happy and grateful for all the girls that came and how much I sold!

Looking forward to another one which will be very soon in my home town Belgrade.

Thank you all for coming last night!!!

I am back ...

2013-06-28T08:00:00.001-07:00

Hi All :)

Here I am again, after nearly nine months of non posting. I'm glad to be back with some new ideas for my future blogging and really looking forward to it. A lot of stuff has happened in the nine months and finally I am ready to continue where I stopped last September.

Before I share anything new, first take a look at some Instagram photos.

All these pictures were taken from the beginning of the year until now.

On these travels, I collect gems, semi-precious and precious stones, crystals, gold, the list is endless, all of which are used in many of my designs. Each piece I create is made with precision and from the materials I have gathered on my travels. The pieces are always unique and created from my personal inspiration, whether it be from my own experiences or designed specifically for one person in mind.”

Last night before I went to work, I spent a few hours with a girl who designs jewelry. She greeted me in her apartment, and I have to admit that it seems more like a beautiful gallery or a studio, and not a residential area in which one lives, and I was thrilled to see such interior. In one of the next posts it will be said more about this jewelry designer and her work, and today you can see few photos of me with some of the pieces that this girl made. Do you like them as much as I do?

Salsa night

2012-08-31T06:32:00.000-07:00

“If I could tell you what it meant, there would be no point in dancing it”

Isadora Duncan

Unplanned outs for me are almost always the best ones. So, two nights ago, after the summer holidays my friends and I gathered for dinner and few drinks at one of the local lounge bars, which I must admit, reminded me of the scene from the series Sex and the City (which I did not really like at all), and then we were headed to a completely unplanned salsa evening. My outfit was not suitable for such event, but that fact did not stop to enjoy the Latin rhythms. Latin dance is in a way, my greatest love - even more than fashion, and there is nothing in the world that could stop me to dance. It's been a long time since I was a contestant, but not a day goes by when I don’t bring out some of the old choreography at home in front of the mirror. I think in the future I will often visit the places where such events are organized.

In this post I have a long skirt that I wore in one of the previous posts in one of the daytime versions, but this time I combined the blouse with open back, and as I added a rosary necklace as a detail I got the set for the evening out.

Do you go to salsa nights? My advice is that if you have never been, try to relax from time to time and enjoy Latin music. If you live in Belgrade, there are plenty of places where such events are organized, visit them.

Greetings from Dubai Xxx

Last days in Belgrade I spent with my loved ones. In today's post you can see one of my favorite bags. It's License Plate Bag Lebanon I bought in Beirut two months ago. As I write this post from Dubai, I can tell you that I already miss Belgrade.

This Koton's swimsuit is one of the few unusual models that I love to wear. Otherwise, I prefer to wear simple, minimal models, because they are my best choice for sun tanning. However, patchwork on the back of this costume is a detail that I couldn't resist, and shorts with lace accessories imposed as the ideal combination.

Nea Plagia is a place near Thessaloniki i which people of that city are spending their weekend during the summer. During the week this is a very quiet place that is perfect if one seeks peaceful vacation. in today's post can be seen two combinations that are suitable in this kind of holiday - one for the beach and the other is for evening stroll.

Evo me ponovo u mestu u kojem sam kao dete godinama letovala. Najbitniji aksesoari su more, plaža i sunce.

I'm in a place where I use to spend my summers when I was a child. Since than I've been to other places, but my family didn't change it's vacation destination. After hard season I needed some peace and quiet and to satisfy nostalgic feeling that I had towards this place. In today's post you can see bits of Plagia, Thessaloniki and two simple sea and summer combinations. Most important accessories are sea, beach and sun.

Getting over the heat

2012-07-13T10:13:00.002-07:00

I simpley love days that I'm spending like this one. Spare time with my BF.

Since the heat started in Dubai there's nothing else to do but to spend time in shopping malls. On today's post photos, you can see a bit of Dubai's biggest shopping center –The Dubai Mall.

Volim dane poput današnjeg. Slobodno vreme provedeno s najboljom drugaricom.

Tiger stripes and leather

2012-07-06T12:14:00.000-07:00

As I already wrote, lately Zara has some new collections that are more than great, so it became a store that I visit more than a supermarket. Shirt with tiger print is similar to Cavalli design, but it was bought in aforementioned Zara.

With this kind of shirt I should say that leather pants go perfectly, and shoes, second pair that I purchased, are from Zara as well. Previous ones, as I already announced, I accessorized, and those could be seen with the outfit that I am preparing for one of my next posts.

Juicy Couture

2012-06-13T00:41:00.001-07:00

Juicy Couture yesterday had presentation of its autumn's collection that will here in Dubai. New collection could be found at the stores in August. This time, Juicy has done something completely different. They mixed London's and Los Angeles' styles and gave an impression - to me, at least. I loved everything that was shown, and most of all I liked leather trousers that look like bottom of sweat suit. Unthinkable, yet very, very good! In this post there are some photos from the event as well as some pics from their catalog.

My new Jeffrey Campell shoes also premiered today, cause after the other ones that I ordered from USA which were tight, I finally found ones that fit, here in Dubai. I love the color.

By the way, while you are reading this post, I will be on my way to Beirut, so you can expect some new posts from Lebanon. Greetings until then!

Pozdrav do tada!

Taste of coffe with some new gadget

2012-06-10T17:58:00.002-07:00

Today, my friend took me to JRB, for a cup of coffee. Real one after some time and I have to admit that I have missed the Lavazza taste... In this coffee shop you can find that most of the guests are from Serbia, and I guess that the reason is that magic black potion that is waking up the dead.

This „coffee time“ was perpetuated, for this post, with my new camera that is Canon 450D. I'm still not familiar with most of its functions, but here is how ended this evenings' tryout.

Something old, something borrowed, yet far from a wedding..

2012-06-07T16:12:00.001-07:00

For today's post I have chosen an old combination that is at the same time one of my favorite. After almost a year I decided to shoot it for blog, but it's not to blame me, because at the time I wasn't in fashion blogging yet.

Last two years clothes with open back are very popular, and since last summer, stylists from magazines all over the world added all kind of different necklaces.

As for those lovely photos I have to thank my dear friend Beata who take some time to make them for me.

Today’s birthday of a movie and fashion icon Marilyn Monroe is also the first day of #vintage open house market organized by Chickpeas Vintage and I had most beautiful day with the girls who organized the sale but also with the ones who came for a shopping. I, myself, had a difficult time choosing what to buy since they have very large choice.

Tomorrow we are continuing hanging out together, and on the photos you can see several combinations that I chose from wardrobe that they are offering. In tomorrow’s sequel there will be more pictures with this beautiful wardrobe of Chickpeas Vintage.
