MisterMild Productions!

Let me take some time and explain everything...

2013-04-13T09:51:00.001+02:00

I'm sorry everyone. I've not really taken the time to explain my current life state and explain my inactivity on YouTube, Steam, TF2, Facebook, twitter etc.

I've since a while started working on a TV-Company as well as filming and making videos for companies on the side. This makes my life a bit more buzy then before. Also I work with computers and editing so I don't have that rush to get home and making more videos.

I also had a few big technical problems over this time. I have not been able to play TF2 for a long time and I tired out on it, editing program's crash and don't run well anymore, SFM always crash and therefore I tired out it it too.

I constantly ask myself the question where's my channel going next? When and how shall I come back? Because I really miss that community we had.

And as a few of you might have noticed I'm now a YouTube partner thanks to Maker Studios. This gave me some income to use on my channel, for example I've bought a console recording device!

I am in constant planning on a comeback, with the vision of a more open channel where I do various gaming related stuff.
Let's plays, gameshows, sketches, whatever!
In a future I want to start trying different series to see if it works, becomes any interesting and so on.

And I can say that work and such has brought me som good at least, because now my new computer is on the way. An editing computer with VFX capabilities :) and much like I started my YouTube channel to show how I'm learning editing. This might be the same with After Effects and stuff.

All I can say is that stick with me my friends. I will return!
Maybe not with all out TF2 sketches like you're used too but I'm going to need your support in my experiments :)

I hope to one day bring out the MisterMild channel out of the ashes and into the light again. Reborn with new passion for what I love to do.

Yours truly MisterMild,
Johan Mild!

Dota 2 Beta Key Giveaway!

2012-11-10T13:45:00.000+01:00

In a few weeks there's Dreamhack Winter 2012, and i'm so hyped. I'm also finally moving to my very own apartment!

In the good mood of this i found that i had a spare Dota 2 Beta key that is basically just laying around.

I'm not a big fan of Dota 2 but that's a better reason that i'd give this away to someone who would enjoy having it, if there's anyone in the world left that does not have it :P

How to i enter?

Well, under this post there's a link saying "comments"...
Write a little greetings and end it with your Steam username and a link to your profile.
I do not count Anonymous comments, login with something (preferably your google/youtube acc) when you write your comment.

When will this giveaway end?

I'll end it next week on Tuesday the 13th of November at 23:59 (GMT +0). Any post after that will not count.

But i already have Dota 2!
Then write a comment saying you want to give it to a friend of yours and specify his/her Steam username and link to his/her profile!
Also include if you want me to send a little message from you.

Hopefully someone will enter this, i kinda think there will only be a few.

Good luck!
And is this turns out good i might do more giveaways :)

Yours
MisterMild

New Video - Jump of Faith (SFM)

2012-10-18T00:07:00.003+02:00

Had some free time to make a little sketch in Source Filmmaker.
Hope you like it :)

FINALLY i updated my avatar!

2012-07-21T15:35:00.002+02:00

Since i started my channel for 3 years ago i've ad the same logo. Now with the release of Source Filmmaker and a possible new step for my channel i decided to update my logo. Unfortunately i could not make that same smile in SFM without making Heavy look like a maniac so i made him a cool smile instead :)

What i was on it i also finally made a specific logo for my Steam Group :)

The mark of a possible new era not only for me but for the whole Valve game movie making community!

Thanks for the game mate!

2012-07-13T10:07:00.000+02:00

This game looks awesome! Can't wait to play it, and let's play some co-op mate! :)

Leauge of Legends - MisterMild as Darius (Live Commentary) - New Video

2012-06-26T12:17:00.000+02:00

Trying to record Live Commentary with Fraps as a test. I know the mic is a bit low and that it's off sync sometimes, that's what i learned from this test :)

But before i delete my footage i thought i edit some together and put it up on MysticMild

Looking for words of advise...

2012-06-23T23:44:00.000+02:00

My friends! I stand in a crossroad and i want your opinion...

I've received an invitation to join The Game Station Youtube Network (link), a network of several very famous gaming Youtube channels like HuskyStarcraft, TotalBiscuit, Criken2 etc.

The plus side being that i will become a Youtube partner and i can actually earn a few bucks to my poor wallet of doing what i love though advertising (There will be spent on movie related products and upgrades for me to make better movies etc) and overall gaining more attention to my channel thought this network.

The downside being that i'm strictly forbidden from now on to use copyright protected music and effects. Which might effect the quality of my work since a lot focuses around sound editing.

I don't know what to choose! Which way should i take my channel?
I've come to the point where i have no idea what i really want. The only thing i'm sure is that i'm looking to make a comeback on Youtube.

Help me with words of advise my friends!

MisterMild at Dreamhack Summer 2012

2012-06-19T23:10:00.000+02:00

The view from my place

Dreamhack (Wiki) is the worlds largest LAN Party located in Jönköping in Sweden.

Tons of computers, e-sports and stage activities is happening over 4 days (Or about 3 whole 24-hour days).

This year was awesome and the last day i uploaded a little greetings to my Youtube channel!
And i show my face to you guys for the first time.

If anyone is going to Dreamhack Winter -12 in November let me know!

K.I.A (Team Fortress 2 Movie) - New Video

2012-04-05T00:03:00.000+02:00

I lost my hard drive with some personal stuff, all my videos and my huge library of production music and sound effects. As a challenge i made this movie without any TF2 sound effects.

It's a very sad toned piece set to my favorite soundtrack of Mass Effect 3

Enjoy!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

2011-12-24T10:20:00.000+01:00

Have a happy holiday now while it lasts! I'm off to celebrate with my family and just have a chill and merry christmas eve :) Because you know we Swedes celebrate the 24 of December (don't ask me why).

Enjoy this little Christmas Short as well :)

Here's a few screenshots from the sled contraption. Took a while to finish and broke several times :P
Enjoy!

Papa Heavy

2011-12-12T16:02:00.001+01:00

"Papa Heavy shall feed all his children!" -MM

This picture made by Tavish DeGroot in Gmod pretty much sums up yesterdays practice with the Lo-Fi Longwave Highlander team that i'm in :P

Yes, i'm now known as Papa Heavy :P

Meet The Medic Trailer Remake - New Video

2011-12-06T16:32:00.000+01:00

It is a Meet the Medic video for metal fans. It's not really my best work and it is by far the most disliked of my works. But i guess this movie requires a specific taste to like, a liking of metal music.

Some of you, enjoy!

Also yes of course the original is the most fitting and brings the Medic forth best, mostly because it is the original move that we refer too when we speak of the Medic. This is meant to be far from the original Medic and the original video.

Apart from the reverb outside i kinda like my own work here and i managed to put together some really nice sound effects with the low resources i had.

I actually had a talk with a friend about sound editing and all and he wanted me to send over the video without the music for him to hear. So i uploaded it on my secondary channel MysticMild to see if anyone else looked at it as my friend did. He liked what i did with some of the things (except reverb/echo outside) what do you think of only the sound editing?

Thanks Minifett!

2011-11-30T16:28:00.000+01:00

He came from nowhere and gave me Fallout New Vegas, Minifett thanks a lot mate :)
I played quite a while of this at my friend but i never finished it. Now is the time!

Dreamhack Winter -11

2011-11-28T19:59:00.000+01:00

Came home from the first Dreamhack i've ever been too and i liked it very much :) Just the kind of festival i like.
Gaming, great music, meeting new friends and spending some great time with old friends :)

If the time allows me i will go to Dreamhack Summer next year and i'll bring more friends then this time :)

Thanks Critical Soldier!

2011-10-26T19:53:00.000+02:00

Just a plain thanks to my friend Critical Soldier for gifting me the game Sanctum!
This game sure is interesting, not played a lot yet but it's quite good so far! :)

Featured on the Team Fortress blog!

2011-10-17T21:20:00.000+02:00

I think this is the highest point of my Youtube Gmod movie making "career".The TF2 Team featured my Heavys Revelation on the TF2 Blog in the News Section and it was also picked to be featured on the News Section for TF2 on Steam!

Heavy's Revelation featured on www.TF2.com

Also a reference to that post were on the Steam News section for TF2

You should have seen the joy when i found this out and i never ever thought the TF2 Team would notice someone like me and pick something i created to be on the community news section.

I don't know if I've ever seen a Gmod video on there and that kinda killed my hope before.

I also must thank everyone else who sent my video around! Don't think i don't trackback all the views i get, it's always fun to sneak around and end up in a bunch of forums and websites to read your feedback :)

But mostly I don't know how to thank the TF2 Team enough for the feature other then by saying...

A big thanks to Valve and the whole TF2 Team for creating the game of my life!

Heavy's Revelation - New Video

2011-10-04T22:21:00.000+02:00

Finally a new video :)
Much work have been put into this one and it turned out this epic, cliche TF2 movie!

Enjoy!

So there was a match with Robin Walker going on...

2011-08-08T21:59:00.005+02:00

On Sunday there was the TF2 Free2Play Invitational (TF2 Post) Celeb Match where the Brink team who had won the tournament was invited to play a fun competitive match against
Robin Walker, Totalbiscuit, eXtine and the rest of the Celeb team.

I was ready to watch the stream when suddenly Ashkan (who is awesome) came to me personally and asked if i wanted to replace a missing Soldier in the Brink team. I was honored and surprised, I've never played competitive Soldier. The only 6v6 I've played is with Ashkan as a Scout very few times.

But that was it :)
I got to play in the game on the Brink team, who is some awesome guys lead by Admirable (Our Medic).
After i missed a chance to play with Robin Walker once i got another chance now, though with thousands of people watching :/

If you look at the kills...i did good until Robin ruined it :P

Robin playing with his Valve Death Launcher :)

Got fish by Totalbiscuit!

Mr "Yaaooooo" makes a pose!

The vods are up if you'd like to watch me get my ass beaten by the celebs while trying to follow Admirable lead in the Brink team.

The vods are unedited ATM and they had a few problems before so that's why they talk so much.
Part 1 & Part 2

Some real pre-match talking and introduction of all the prayers (Inc. confusion about me :3) start around: 54:30
And the actual first round starts at: 59:50

Look out for the Stout Shako Soldier on BLU :) He's going to suck.

Enjoy

2 New Videos - Engineer Techno Extras!

2011-07-31T03:10:00.000+02:00

On MysticMild i uploaded two projects i did but forgot. Simple experiments i did with Engineer Techno after i uploaded the original.
Though it was time for them to see the light of day on my secondary channel!

A fun L4D2 Picture

2011-07-15T21:08:00.000+02:00

I found this amusing...
It's the guys Valve used as models for their survivors in L4D2.
The L4D2 graphics is good enough to fuck my mind up with this picture...IT IS NOT IN GAME FOOTAGE!!
...stupid brain.

Meet the Medic Behind the Scenes

2011-07-13T16:59:00.002+02:00

The TF2 team released some outtake footage and behind the scenes of their latest masterpiece Meet the Medic on their blog. A great example of how inspiration works and how a movie is adapted to end with something great! A great lesson, thanks TF2 team :)
