Well hello again. Didn't think you would here back from me so soon did ya? Ya me neither (chuckles)

Thought I would dabble in a little creative crochet designing. And wanted to save these poor little ears with no cartilage of mine. Yikes! So I created a crochet pattern that is both cute and functional. Introducing my ear saver pattern. Think I might have to come up with a cuter name. Any ideas?

I have a couple pattern testers working hard on it right now so I can release it asap. Can't wait.

If your not sure how they work or never heard of these fantastic ear savers they are wonderful. Instead of hooking the elastic around your ears you just place the ear saver on the back of your head and place the elastics around the buttons instead. WAHLAY! Pretty spiffy. As soon as it's hot off the press I will let you all know. This Crafty girl is on the move ! 🧶

It's me again...

Since I've last blogged we all know lots of things have changed in this crazy world of ours. I can't thank my crafty skills and love for crafting anymore in my life than now. I have been sewing masks and taking time to knit and crochet for myself and loves ones than I never had time for before. It's a blessing that my hobbies are something I can do at home and take my mind off troubles even just for a little bit. I do miss my runs. But for now the garage workout equipment will have to do. I find myself loving cooking more OK OK liking cooking more. Love it a strong word. I've also found a couple good books. One of them I had a book mark in for so long and had been carrying with me as if I would have time to read it and the other an Audible that soothes me when I'm on my elliptical. Both Non fiction and inspiring in two completely different ways. Maybe I will share more about my readings after I have absorbed them. And of course I have good old U tube, Hulu, Netflix and newly discovered Disney +. And with all of that said for some reason I still feel like I don't have enough time in my day to get things done. HOW IS THAT? I keep telling myself I need to dedicate more time to making patterns that have been floating around in my head for some time now but for some reason now that I do have the time I can't seem to do it. The only thing I can think of is that never before have I had time to just sit and knit or crochet something for myself or family. And it really feels good to finally have the time to do it. I've done socks for my kiddos, knitted a sweater for my son and even got a Cardigan done for myself. I'm starting on a lovey Shawl for myself now. The best thing about this shawl is that it is involves a technic that out of all the decades of crocheting I have never tried. I must say so far I love it. I'm defiantly going to have to catch you up on all the CraftEyeCandys I have been making. But for now please love one another. Always put the other person first and if we all do that this world would be a happier place. And don't forget to pray.

Hello Bloggers,
It's been so long since I've stoped in to say hello... but here I am. I'm off for X mass break and for some reason life just seems to be passing me by. I try to stop for a minute to enjoy the morning air and the nights sun set but feels like someone or something is always tugging on me to keep moving. Is this something that comes with age I wonder?
Well with that said I've of course be busy crocheting so many wonderful creatons. From beanies to X mass stockings my little hands have done allot these last few months. Well I hit a few bumps in the road but I'm back. My daughter just had her lumpectomy surgery and is doing great. And my son's broken collar bone is mending just fine... I know don't ask LOL
I hope to be adding a beautiful pink baby dress to my shop soon. It makes me wanna have another baby, well not really :)
I was also thinking about doing a give away soon but wasn't sure what to give away. So please comment on what you would like to see in my give away and you will be entered for the give away!

So.. I've been stuck in the house because of all this crazy weather with my wonderful hubby that surprised me when I came home from work to see.... My whole wall filled with shelves of yarn!!!!!!!!! I always knew I loved him. I haven't had time to take pictures of it yet because I've been to busy enjoying it. Oh ya, then he surprised me with a electric yarn roller that I had been drooling on at Micheal's craft store for a while now. I spent one whole day with that thing just rolling my yarn. I'm in heaven! I will post pictures of my yarn wall at a later date ;)

Oh man finally got my mittens done. I made them with a yarn given to me for my last birthday from a very special friend.. thanks Marilyn I love ya, Yup I'm 21 now :) naaaa can't lie I'm 33 .I whipped them up as fast as I could before finishing others items... made a few more to put in my shop. You may know already but my daughter loves to crochet as well. Shes trying to save for collage so she started her own etsy shop. Mysterycrochet.etsy.com. Well she has these new Mohawk beanies that the kiddos just love. She wore one to school and the supervisor asked her to go to the office because she was not allowed to wear any hat besides school hats. (Which she had no idea lol ;)wink )no but really.... shes a 4.0 student shes awesome. Any how.. the supervisor got to taking to her and that's when my daughter gave her one of her etsy business cards. Everyone was so impressed that she had made it let alone had her on business online. I think she ended up making a few sales! So here you go the famous MOHAWK beanie... You can buy one in her shop or in mine. Tons of colors and sizes. But you better hurry they don't stay in the shop for long!

Well got done with the Noahs Ark blanket and it was a hit a my sisterinlaws babyshowr. Got so caught up in the momment .. forgot to take pictures of it! Baby Showers Galore!!!!

Wow when one baby shower hits they all do... Had to put the Noah's ark blanket down for a sec. Made a girls baby dress booties and bonnet to match. Also made a Boys baby blanket baby bib and booties. Must say they came out very nice. Hope to get another custom order but if not .. not to worry I still am looking forward to picking up were I left off with my Noah's ark blanket, by the way it almost done. Can't wait to see the finished blanket. I will make sure to show you when I'm done .....
