Why do you consider djing for dummies as a "whatever you do, don't read that book" ?

awesome tips i just learned here, i'm new to mixingonbeat and i was looking through the different sections of the forum big up its just so awesome...

to be honest i'm NOT a good DJ i am praticing intensively for about a year and i guess i wasn't looking at the right place...

i've just tried this "looping and slowly decreasing BPM on keylock" for changing genre... IT SOUNDS AWESOME! THANKS

Hi everyone my name is Kyle, i'm 20 y/o, i'm addicted to the rave scene/music, I just LOVE all kinds of electronic music...
I recently bought myself a traktor audio 10 with two MKII control vinyls and two kontrol x1.
I got two tecnics sl-1200 MK2 and two Pioneer CDJ-400 (using those with timecode CDs as well) and finaly, my mixer is a Pioneed DJM3000.

Enough with the gear talk (i love gear talk!) sorry haha

I am also entering university into biochemistry this year (just finished college into pure sciences/music(classical piano) double program)
My instruments are mainly piano, guitar, drum and i'm into singing too while playing those...
Got lots of interesting gear for playing music too : my alesis DM10 electronic drum kit is my favourite

By the way sorry if my written english is not so good thats cuz i'm french (Quebec)

I love ableton live and i also like FL studio which is in my opinion a great program too...

I try to create alot of electronic music... i'm mostly able of creating psytrance since the kick bass is so easy.

That brings me to say i LOVE astrix, (no im not gay i love his music haha xD ) as well as infected mushroom but i personaly think there shoudnt be a vocalist in that band... 1200 micrograms is also good electrypnose and yknow all the GOA/psytrance is awesome but i get fed up of it sometimes...

So tiesto, armin van buuren, sander van doorn, sied van riel, markus schulz are also some of my top favourites...
Mr.oizo, Justice, Dilemn are also worth mention... (electro-wise)

I master music very well but sadly i'm not such a good DJ yet PLEASE HELP ME BECOME AN AWESOME DJ !!!! Any tips or help is welcomed !!!

I keep watching youtube to learn... LOTS of tutorials and i was pointed out mixingonbeat by ellaskins you guys must know him from his videos... anyways...
