Now, feel free to call me crazy, but, if Citigroup thinks gold could reach $2k isn't possible that the actual gold traders think the same? Could it be that they see the real value in your "unwanted" and "unused" gold and jewelry that seems to have gone unnoticed by you? I'm thinking that they aren't quite as altruistic as they would like for us to believe. Don't get me wrong, if you want to sell your gold trinkets to go on a vacation that's your business. But, my gut feeling is that you're going to be needing that gold in the future and that the value of it is about to rise and if things go very wrong in the economy (and indications are that they just might) keeping that gold may mean the difference between eating meat or cat food.

I don't sell gold and have no investment or relationship with any gold sellers. I just thought education may be the best weapon in times of distress. Here's to your future.

There are probably fewer things in life tougher than making cold calls. Ask anybody that's every worked in a cold calling "boiler room" or call center and they'll quickly tell you that if you have ANY fear of rejection what so ever than stay away from cold calling. Cold calling script or not, this is a brutal way to make a living. As a matter of fact, very few people DO make a living at it.

Cold calling has been around as long as sales itself and the industries that use it span across every market sector. The good sales people rely on cold call scripts and the very good sales people have tweaked their scripts to in such a way as to make them their own. The whole idea to using a cold calling technique such as scripts stems from the fact that there is a need and more profit in becoming efficient. Cold calling scripts help to do that because as the script becomes more and more employed, the caller gets a feel for which words or phrases work better in the call and therefore have a higher closing ratio. Some words or phrases get tossed and others added in an attempt to have the prima "pitch".

Cold calling has some very real hurdles that must be overcome to be effective. Abuse by the person being called, hang ups, no answer, pressure tactics for closings, very good possibility of a no show after the call or a cancellation of the order shortly after the call are just some of the pains of cold calling. The "golden egg" of the perfect cold calling script is something similar to a holy grail quest. It never seems to end.

One of the worst aspects of cold calling is the sheer number of contacts that must be made to acquire the sale. All sales are formulaic and every good sales person knows that x number of contacts will equal y numbers of sales. Very often the equation requires hugh numbers of contacts to spit out a small percentage of sales. It's the nature of the beast.

However, more and more there is a trend growing that seeks to reverse the attributes of cold calling, and thereby negating the need for cold calling scripts. It seeks to eliminate the #1 problem of cold calling, namely, that people are reluctant to speak with, never mind purchase from, someone they don't know. There's always the fear of the scam artist lurking in the back of the prospective clients mind. So, what needs to happen is to soften the approach by building a relationship first that seems warms up the client slowly, building trust in the vendor over time so that when a product is finally introduced into the relationship the client is much more accepting to it and therefore there's a higher ratio of sales. In some cases, the client may actually seek out the vendor because of the trust now engendered. The once "hunter" now becomes the "hunted". The perfect scenario.

This attraction marketing, as it's becoming known by, takes longer to foster, but, virtually eliminates the need for cold calling all together and produces results that are longer lasting and with more repeat sales since there is a bond now between the two parties. Something to consider if your in a field that requires cold calling.

Why Ameriplan is the Stealth Company

As I begin my treatise on why Ameriplan will stagger the network marketing industry in the next few years allow me to put forth a couple of trite, but, true cliches. "Timing is Everything" and "Being in the Right Place at the Right Time". Here are two phrases we commonly hear and yet they almost always ring true at the time they're presented.
Usually that time is hindsight. Today, though, we're attempting to look forward and to do that we need to start with the market and economic conditions of today. We need to do this because if we're to say that growth will happen in the future then by default there must have been a planting time. My gut feeling is that the fallow ground now being churned over by the economics realities is the ripe soil for the redwoods of tomorrow. Ameriplan may very well be one of those redwoods. So let's look at our "soil sample" and see what it's telling us.

Reason #1

The current status of the rising cost of healthcare and what seems to be the endless and staggering increases in a time when wages are stagnant at best and, in actuality, declining due to the real cost of living. Combine that with the loss of jobs and therefore a loss of income and the inability to pay for healthcare and a loss of healthcare benefits and things begin to roil. Combine THOSE issues with the parallel road of the worsening of the health condition of our citizenry as diabetes, obesity, cancer, chronic fatigue, depression, etc., seem to be skyrocketing and now we can see the real tsunami on the horizon. And all the while, quietly pushing its way up through our soil is Ameriplan. And that brings us to our next point.

Reason #2

The products of Ameriplan. As time goes on an it continues to become more and more difficult to pay for insurance (ask any self employed person) or for the benefits out of pocket (good luck with that), a need arises for something that would at least be supplemental if not an outright replacement in some situations. While Ameriplan is NOT an insurance company, if you've ever looked through their literature what you'll find are some very impressive discounting. It's a multi level marketing company. Notice anything in the headlines lately? Like maybe the auto industry closing plants for months at time? Or the financial sector laying off people? Or retail cutting back on new store openings and letting attrition wean their payrolls? What could be a better time for network marketing than when folks need work and income. Most MLM's have a little initial overhead cost and Ameriplan is one of those companies. Tremendous support, low overhead, a product that's needed and is priced right for the market (actually it seems too low to me) all point to a successful business plan. You may be able to do without hand cream or candles or jewelry, but, you WILL need healthcare at some time.
