According to last night's commercial... call your doctor if you experience unusual thoughts, thoughts of suicide, high fever or any other life threatening symptoms. Personally, I think a better disclosure is...Call the police if you think you're going postal.

I have an antique King Louis XV style bed. Unfortunately, it's too small for my king mattress and my daughter doesn't care for a French antique.

She's ready for different decor. Or to be more specific...a day bed. I thought using this French bed as a day bed was a good idea. See Conde Nast photo below.

Breast Milk Ice Cream for Sale

That's right, breast milk ice cream. While breastfeeding my kids, I joked about selling breast milk cheese. I know, gross. But still funny. And definitely just a joke.

Funny in London? Not so much. The Icecreamists parlor is selling breast milk ice cream called Baby Gaga. They claim they're purchasing breast milk, at $24 an ounce, which is "pure, organic, free-range and totally natural." They have 15 mothers who undergo the same health screenings used to screen blood. Not sure if that screens for medications, non-organic chemicals, alcohol or...anything else they may swallow. I know...that was bad. But hey, pretty sure people would want to know.

Although not my cup of ice cream, it's possible the breast milk antibodies could outweigh negatives, however, I don't know this because I'm not a scientist, doctor or lawyer. But I do know breastfeeding burns a lot of calories so I guess technically...these modern day wet-nurses are earning income while working out.

First Grade Justin Bieber Rumors

My first grader marched into my room and said "Mommy, I just want you to know... Justin Bieber sucks but I like his songs." Then her voice trailed off like Charlie Brown's teacher while I stood in shock thinking...did she say "sucks?" Did she just tell me a Justin Bieber rumor? Wait... did she say "Justin Bieber?"

Mommy: "Did you say Justin Bieber sucks?"

Daughter: "Well, I really like his songs but he only thinks of himself."

M: "Did you say he sucks?"

D: "Mommy, Sally said he only thinks about himself."

M: "Don't say sucks and Sally should call Justin to tell him about his problem."

D: "Mommy, she doesn't know Justin Bieber."

M: "Then how does she know he sucks?"

D: "I don't know."

M: "If she doesn't know him then why is she telling you this?"

D: 'No, you don't understand. Sally said...."

Obviously, we had a lesson on believing everything you hear, talking about others etc. Then I made a note to self...Don't buy a light blue Justin Bieber satin jacket. Justin Bieber is unpopular in first grade. My daughter said "sucks."

My Kids are Afraid of Ghosts

My kids are afraid of ghosts. My son thinks white lights are spirits and this morning... he saw a shaking white light. It was on the wall directly across from the window. Oddly, the light shook every time the air turned on. Furthermore, it was an oblong shape which was identical to the shape of the hole in the wooden shades.

Not to fear, ML Mother Ship is buying the kids new flashlights to replace the flashlights my daughter keeps leaving outside his window.

Last night I discovered the cat blogging on my laptop. Ever have ridiculous Facebook or Twitter updates? Cat bloggers could explain the phenomenon.
Not sure how our pet cat hacked my hard drive password or proceeded through the biometrics.
Now that's what I call a blogger platform.

My friend, Charles, loves WordPress so much that I've mediated some nasty discussions between Charles and other platforms. For the record, the other platforms couldn't talk and Charles always won. He also won in persuading me to WordPress where I made a pretty site. However, I don't have time to maintain a WP site AND write.

So...here I am. I'm not sure if I will import my old content to Blogger, as I don't care to review the HTML for any hacks, redirects etc. Which is why I'm here in the first place.
