Can a boxer win against a well rounded MMA fighter in the cage?

Jame Lights out Toney did not even get a chance to strike Randy Coulture it all happen so fast. I think this fight is embarrassing to boxing. Lets face it if the Octagon was just strikes only then boxers would have a chance. But the MMA is too tough for them. I knew Randy would get him on the ground asap. What was Toney thinking to even take this fight? Let me guess MONEY?

TOKYO - Breaking a four-fight losing streak in Pancrase, Yuji Sakuragi stunned light heavyweight King of Pancrase Ryo Kawamura with a first-round knockout at Pancrase Passion Tour 8 in Differ Ariake on Sunday.

Also, bantamweight King of Pancrase Manabu Inoue retained his title with a point deduction in a scrappy decision win over second-ranked Tashiro Akai and former flyweight King of Pancrase Mitushisa Sunabe powerbombed Shinpei Tahara for a KO and chance to regain the Pancrase flyweight title.

Three weeks out and finally DREAM.16 is starting to shape up.

FEG announced Sunday that DREAM lightweight champion Shinya Aoki will take on Marcus Aurelio in a non title affair, Kazuyuki Miyata will face former Shooto champ "Lion" Takeshi Inoue and Joachim Hansen will look for his first win at featherweight against Hideo Tokoro.

Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Jason "Mayhem" Miller was also confirmed and officially announced via DREAM's official YouTube channel.

Nate Marquardt Not Concerned With Rousimar Palhares’ Reputation

Nate Marquardt was one win away from realizing his goal of fighting Anderson Silva for the middleweight title again. All he had to do was beat Chael Sonnen at UFC 109.

Of course, things didn't go as planned for Marquardt, who lost to Sonnen via unanimous decision.

That loss hasn't necessarily knocked Marquardt all the way down the 185-pound ladder (Sonnen's performance at UFC 117 might have softened the blow in the eyes of MMA pundits), but in order to remain in the mix, he must get by Rousimar Palhares at UFC Fight Night 22 on Sept. 15.

And believe it or not, Marquardt is walking into this fight with the memory of his loss to Sonnen firmly cemented in his mind.

"I guess I'm still not over the heartbreak or whatever," Marquardt said on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour. "It still bothers me, but I'm definitely looking forward to my next fight and I feel I've learned my lessons from that fight. I expect to go into this fight and execute my game plan, and I think that's one of the biggest mistakes that I made against Chael."

I looking into opening my own MMA training facility in the Flint, Michigan area, and I’m finding it hard to find instructors in some MMA fields (boxing, wrestling etc.). Anyone know the best way, or any way to find good instructors in my area?
