I would have to go with MMA but please keep in mind that I&#039;m talking from a self-defense point of view. I think that if you join an MMA class, you&#039;ll be taught the basics of self-defense in the first few weeks.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A mixture of two or more arts is certainly better and more practical than just one. Now I&#039;m not saying someone who sticks to just Kyokushin Karate would not be able to defend himself, mind you.&lt;br /&gt;
