It’s been a little over a year since Google started teasing something it called “Project Glass.” The futuristic, wearable computer that would change the way that you interact with the world was nothing more than a series of rumors for months before it was “formally introduced” in April 2012 . Not known for hardware and not having a current bonafide physical device that was popular among consumers, many opined that this was Google’s way of begging for attention.

Sprint and HTC are rolling out a small update for the carrier-specific version of the HTC One. After the update, the One will run firmware version 1.29.651.10 that includes few minor changes, including: BlinkFeed improvements New Sprint Zone client Improved Back and Home key sensitivity The last mentioned is pretty much the only thing worth mentioning as it will address an annoyance users have been reporting for some time. The problem was that touch targets are seemingly not big enough, and this update will fix that by possibly increasing the size of the target

Samsung announced that its Galaxy S4 is the world’s first TCO Certified smartphone. TCO Development, which is an independent body that focuses on sustainability in the IT industry, found Sammy’s flagship device meeting requirements across a variety of criteria including social, environmental and economic viability: In the social category, the Korean company demonstrated that it is committed to socially responsible manufacturing and is compliant with International Labour Organization and United Nation conventions. In the environmental category, it was found that the Galaxy S4 was free from many hazardous materials like nickel, beryllium and mercury which make recycling a nightmare.
