Mobile phone price gone up!!!

Yup.. this is sad but true. One of customer was asking for nokia E71. At the time I quoted him it was just less than RM1200 but he said he hold the order because thinking it will be reduced more. But after 1 weeks time my price has gone up to RM1200 and today it is even more than that. So too sad for him coz it cost more than at the time I quoted him.

The truth is the price is fluctuated daily but the range not so much between RM5 to RM20 only. Most of the phones will be cheaper but this time it turned the other way round, I mean more expensive.

What I spotted, the top selling phone is the one that increased a lot compared to others. Well hopefully, it will turn down again someday.

Just use your phone as your professional navigator. How much to pay? Very cheap, it will cost you +/- RM60 and it is 1 time payment but you may use it forever. There is no other payment. You can use it as frequest as you wish.

The pre-installed maps & google search in the phone may cost you every time you use it. Just a normal internet charges but it still annoying right?.

Hi... G900i is one of the popular phone for Sony Ericsson. I have sold a few units to my customers and most of them complaint about the slow processing of this phone. SE need to do some improvement on the processor of their successor phone to overcome this problem.

CNY just passed. Before the CNY, mobile phone price increased a bit. I thought it will drop after the season but unfortunately the price keep on increasing after the CNY festive. Bad news for those whose thinking to buy a new phone after CNY. However, the increament was not that huge but most of the popular phone affected.

Nokia E71 highlight

Starting with former E51, Nokia launched E71 which is far more advanced, compact and good looking smart 3g mobile phone. This new model shall ensure the succussful of its wide range of E series.

Available in July 2008 (according to GSMarena) this model available in grey and white steel colours. The wider screen and slim which measures only 10mm fit nicely in my hand. What I like most is the built in GPS receiver which will make my traveling smooth all the time. To make it more real, I installed Garmin to my E71.

I'm using this phone at a moment replacing my Omnia which I afford to use only for 1 week. I do not fancy the touch screen anymore. Maybe because I never used touch screen earlier. That is why I find myself very hard using it.

Having this E71 is so much fun. Based on symbian 9.2 S60 V3 is good enough for me. Whatever I want with a phone, I got it in E71. Thanks to Nokia for producing this superb phone. Syncronizing with my PC is so easy with the help of famous Nokia PC suite.

Main features instead of listed above are 3.5G, WIFI, 3.2 mp camera, media player and the best is full QWERTY keyboard which make messaging easier.

I only find a problem with games (not preloaded by Nokia) because the screen size is 320 x 240 and most of available games are designed for 240 x 320 which makes the game menu at the bottom disappeared. The rests are superb.

Sleek SE W595

Just look at this phone... Nice isn't it? I love the design and the color is so charming. When the 1st time I saw it, I already fall in love. What I like most is the size, it fit nicely into my palm. Screen size is mid- size with 2.2" and the display is brilliant. Music? It was Walkman phone, so not to worry about music.

If you like taking pictures, then you may use its 3.2 Mp camera. 3G also equipped. Oopps.. It is 3.5G with secondary camera. Video calls is not a problem at all.

The phone been released in Sep-08 (Based on GSMarena). It was developed based on the famous predessor W910. The specification is almost the same only W910 has bigger screen. Shake function for music is built-in.

The price also not too bad. We may have this phone around RM800 ++ for an AP set.

Personally, I fully recommend this marvellous phone whether you want to use it as your 1st or 2nd phone is up to your choice. BYE...

Announced in Jun 2008 and made available to public a month after. This great stuff is in Malaysian market at a price of RM3000 ++. What do you think about the price? Is it fair. And it was sold without warranty. Oh god.. Since this phone has the extremely great features, it has been sold like a goreng pisang panas. Once you get a hold of it surely you will fall in love .

What made this phone so good? It has a great design with spectacular looks. It will fits perfectly in your hand and feels comfortable. With the 3.5-inch bright and clear screen you will not ask for others. Scrolling the phone with the most impressive full touch user interface will give you a great pleasure with its finger-friendly buttons and charmingly designed icons. Screen real estate in most applications are dedicated to what is most important, without menus or settings to distract you. Physical input is well thought out and is reasonably intuitive. Gesture controls using the multi-touch screen are great and easy to pick up.

Wants to know more? It comes with HSDPA which is way faster than EDGE, I think this is the main selling point factor of this phone. It also equipped with GPS function and wifi.

You have 2 options to choose either the 8Gb or 16Gb of storage which comes in black or white colour.

According to the PROs, the disadvantages are

No video calls over the 3G network
Camera has no auto focus, nor video recording… nor any settings at all
Safari browser doesn't support Flash and Java, doesn't have a download manager
Bluetooth support limited to headset use only (no A2DP or file transfers)
No office document editor
No copy/paste functionality
You cannot sync Notes and TO-DOs
No memory card slot
No navigation software
Disappointing battery life
Counter-intuitive menus and settings

The Samsung F480 which comes in touchwiz screen is a slim 3G HSDPA phone. The large 2.8 Inch screen will give a great viewing. It is equipped with 5 MP camera complete with a built in flash, auto focus and stabilizer.

Surfing internet is so fast with its 3.5G HSDPA with a maximum download speed at 7.2 Mbps so useful for those who tends to go for video streaming a lot. Omnia vs Touch Diamond

Which one you would preferred, the Samsung i900 Omnia or the HTC Touch Diamond?

Both are touch screen pocket pc and using the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. But the Omnia' screen is slightly bigger with the 3.2 inc and 2.8 inc VGA for the HTC.

In terms of design, I surely will opt for HTC for its sleek and elegant design. But the appearance should not be the priority right?

Camera wise, the Omnia comes with 5 MP while the HTC 3.2 MP. You may opt for 8 or 16 Gb for the Omnia and if it still not enough, it support up to 8 Gb memory card. This is the good things about the Omnia comparing to HTC which come in 4 Gb internal memory only and no card slot. But for me 4 Gb is more than enough.

The price is about the same range which around RM2,500 ++ in Malaysia.

The common complaint about the HTC is the slow processing time and its battery life. Do not forget to bring your charger even if you plan to for an outstation for 1 day.

At the moment, it's quite difficult to conclude as to which of these two phones is the best. Both are excellent pocket pc with their own advantages and disadvantages. So just ask your selves which one is the right phone for you.

Hi... today I want to talk about my wife's K800i. She was using the phone for about a year. The phone was quite cool with Sony superb camera. This phone was very famous about 2 years ago when it was first introduced to Malaysian market.

The phone is still in good conditions but right now she dreamt for the new W890 sleek slim SE phone. Oooo.. woman always like that. Because if me, I will only change my phone when it started giving me problem.

At the moment we can purchase the new K800 less than RM700. My wife going to sell to her friend for RM500 in 2x payment. Good for her.

The phone if we trade in to any shop. I believe they will take it at RM400 the most.
