The first information about the specifications of Motorola Droid 4 has appeared on the net a few days ago. Now we have some pictures with this phone, that can be described as a “Droid RAZR smaller and equipped with physical keyboard.”

The Motorola Droid 4 comes with a 4-inch qHD display, dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, sliding QWERTY keyboard with 5 rows of keys and Android OS 2.3.x. The phone will most likely receive and update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and its facilities also include a battery of 1785 mAh.

We have no information yet about the release date of the Motorola Droid 4, but it is possible to be on December 8. Thus, the launch of the new Droid would coincide with the release of Samsung Galaxy Nexus by Verizon in the States, and the customers will have to choose between Motorola Droid RAZR, HTC Rezound, Motorola Droid 4 and Galaxy Nexus.

The phone seems to be made by HTC if the look is any indication and there are no search/back/home/menu keys on it. The probably version of the OS is the next one to be released, which has the code name Ice Cream Sandwich.

While the photo doesn’t reveal too much information, it appears that there is also some info on its specs, which include Sprint CDMA and HDPA+ connectivity (meaning that it will probably show up on Sprint at first), a camera in the front and a launch date for December 2011.

The name of the phone is possible that it’s going to be Nexus 3, but the decision wasn’t made yet. The rumors so far say that either LG or HTC will be the company which builds the phone.

Amazon seems intent on selling as many phones as possible these days and they have yet another new deal on a mobile phone. This time it’s the Samsung Nexus S 4G, which is being sold for just $49.99, as long as you get a new two year contract with Sprint. If you’re already a customer and you’re just looking for an upgrade, it will cost you $99.99 to get your hands on the phone. The OS on the phone is the latest Android, the 2.3.4 Gingerbread. The phone is one of the few capable of using the NFC payments from Google.

The specs of the Samsung Nexus S 4G is a Hummingbird processor at 1GHz. It’s a thin phone which is easy to move around and its screen has vibrant colors and a high contrast. It also has 4G capabilities, allowing the user to use voice and data connections at the same time, so you can browse the web while you’re talking on the phone.

The screen is a Super AMOLED which measures 4 inches and it has a resolution of 480×800. There are two cameras on it, a 5MP main camera and a secondary model for video chat. [Learn more]

For the many gamers which love both smartphones and some mobile gaming, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is great news and it was just released in the United States. Verizon is the carrier which has the phone and the normal price for the phone is $200. The best price for it though is the one offered by Amazon.com, which sells the phone for $99, together with a new two year contract, so a $100 discount over the regular price.

Another advantage is that Amazon delivers the Xperia Play for free, and you will have it in under two days. This is the first phone to be PlayStation certified and it also comes with Android 2.3 on it, the first one from Verizon with this OS.

Other specs of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play include the 4 inch touch screen which is scratch resistant, a 5MP camera with a LED flash, plus a microSD card of 8GB. [Learn more]

The phone would obviously be more of a statement of status than anything else, since this amount of money can get you a better smartphone as far as features are concerned. The Nokia Oro has both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, it has the Symbian OS and a 3.5 inch AMOLED touch screen. The camera on the Nokia Oro is a 8Mp model which records videos at 720p quality.

There is no news on whether the model will be released in the US, but we do know that it will be launched in China, Middle East and Europe. The release date of the phone is set for the third trimester of 2011.

The specs of the HTC Desire S include a Qualcomm processor at 1GHz, 768MB of RAM, a 3.7 inch touch screen which is capacitive and uses Gorilla Glass, a camera with 5MP which can record video at 720p, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G.

The HTC EVO 3D also has two 5MP cameras at the rear which have LED flash, allowing the user to take 3D photographs. A third camera located in the front has 1.3MP.

The OS available on the EVO 3D is Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The phone will be sold for $199, as long as you get a new contract for 2 years. The price is not bad when you consider the prices of other phones and the fact that it is a 3D phone.

The Sprint HTC Arrive is their own version of the HTC 7 Pro smartphone, which is the first Windows Phone 7 model which is CDMA enabled. The regular price of the phone is $199.99 when you get a new two year contract and $449.99 when you get it without any contracts. If you’re looking for a Windows phone, you can get the Sprint HTC Arrive for just $0.01, as long as you get the phone from Amazon, with a new two year contract.

I don’t expect this great deal to last long, so if you want a new phone and the Sprint HTC Arrive looks good to you, you better hurry.

The Spring HTC Arrive is a combination of a touch screen and a physical QWERTY keyboard which slides out. The specs of the HTC HD7S include a 4.3 inch touch screen with a resolution of 480×800 and 16 million colors, a 1GHz processor, 576MB of RAM, a 16GB internal storage capacity, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1 and a camera with 5MP which can film video at 720p quality.

At first, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will be available only on Verizon, but that will eventually change. The price of the phone at Verizon will be $199.99, as long as you get it together with a new contract, for two years.

The OS on the Xperia Play will be Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the most recent Android OS available for smartphones. Even though this phone is not a dual core model, the performances offered are still decent and you should certainly take a look at it if you love playing games, since it comes with a gamepad which slides out and allows you to play PlayStation games on it. The phone will have a number of games loaded on it, including Sims 3, Madden NFL 11, Asphalt 6 and a number of other games. In time, more games will be released for it.
