1. The first step you need to take is the immediate shutting off your mobile once it is recovered, although in most cases you will not have to do that as they itself get off automatically. Patience pays off - do not dare to experiment anything new and test the phone whether it is working or not until the phone is absolutely dry which takes around 2-4 days generally.

2. Then you need to remove all its vital parts that include a battery, phone covers, faceplates, SIM card and others.

3. The next big step includes the removal of salt as soon as possible which will demand a bottle filled of distilled water. You actually need to re-submerge the phone to make sure that the metals in your phone are immune from the rust problem. I say it again as you do not dare to check whether the phone is in the working condition or not.

4. Then pleasingly soak all the parts of the phone with distilled water except for the SIM card and battery as also the LCD screens.

5. Take help of the direct sunlight as you need to keep the device to air dry for 2-3 days under direct sunlight. Do not in any case, attempt to experiment and use a hair dryer for providing immediate heat to fasten the process.

if u got any problems by the following steps we are not responsible for ur damage...this is written purely for bsnl dataone users to improve their torrent speed.

1. First download this file for windows xp servicepack2 or servicepack3 which ur using...( ur antivirus detect this as virus because it is windows half open tcp connection modification file. so u can ignore this)
2. for sp2 open ur appropriate file give yes in the dos prompt.
3. for sp3 users give the value between 500-600 as ur wish.
4. now open ur torrent client( here utorrent is considered and others search for the specified options)
5. go to options ---> preferences.
6.now select button in the sidebar then choose connection. change the port value to 443. and uncheck the Enable UPnp portmapping.

7.then go for bandwidth (sidebar option). and give the max upload rate to 10.
8. after that select BitTorrent. and then select outgoing as forced.

Steps to Reduce Counter Strike Latency or Ping

One of the most popular online games Counter Strike or CS also has some problems related to it. Almost one out of two people playing this game is troubled by the problem of facing a high ping or uneven latency. The high latency makes thegame lag so badly that it becomes very difficult to play.

In spite of having good configuration of the PC and a high speed internet connection the gamers come across this strange problem. This is a major problem of CS players around the world and of one of our readers. The reasons for this problem can differ person to person and there is no fix solution to the problem but I have listed here various solutions that may solve your problem.

1. Since there is no definite solution to the problem, the first and the foremost thing you should do is to change your ISP. Yes, it happens that if you are getting high latency/ping in the game, changing the Internet Service Provider will solve your problem.

2. Though it would be difficult to know, but having the same ISP as of the server will greatly reduce the ping while playing the game.

3. Do delete all the temporary stuffs of the system like caches, temporary files to free up the system’s resources. To perform the disk cleanup, right click on the drive and click on Properties, then click on Disk Cleanup button below.

4. If you are facing uneven (quite high latency one moment and quite low the other) then it is sure a virus/spyware infection. Run a good updated Anti Virus scan to clean the system.

5. Strange but true, Hardware used for playing also plays an important role in reducing the ping.

6. It would be better if you run least number of programs in the background so that the game can utilize all the bandwidth of the internet solely.

7. CFGs used in the game are also important while reducing the ping. Usually servers have their own CFGs but it is an important factor.

8. Then there are various server and client rates like cl_cmdrate andcl_updaterate. Generally the lower values of these rates are preferred but these are different for different systems. Default values are cl_cmdrate 101 and cl_updaterate 101.

Bluejacking is not mobile hacking or hijacking its totaly different. Bluejacking is a harmless prank played on people who have switched Bluetooth on their phones.

Blue : is taken from Bluetooth, the technology bluejacking uses.
jacking : is derived from both "ajack" and "hijacking"

Even thought bluejacking does not resemble hijacking There is no accessing or taking private data from your victim's device.

Bluejacking is totally limited to Bluetooth enabled devices.Bluetooth has a very limited range, usually around 10 metres on mobile phones, but laptops and other instrument with high power transmitters can reach up to 100 meters.

Bluejacking Explanation

Bluejacking is define as sending of unsolicited messages over Bluetooth to Bluetooth-enabled devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, Laptops, sending a contact which typically contains a message in the name field to another bluetooth enabled device via the OBEX protocol.

Few prople say the term â€œBluejackingâ€ originated with a user named ajack on esato.com. Some people say that the term bluejacking comes from Bluetooth and hijacking. While that certainly sounds logical, a bluejacker doesn't hijack anything, he just send a contact to the recipient's device. Both parties have absolute control over their devices, and a bluejacker will not be able to take control of your phone or steal your personal information.

You can create a phonebook contact and write a message, eg. 'Hello, you've been bluejacked', in the 'Name' field. Then you can search for other phones with Bluetooth and send that phonebook contact to them. On their phone, a message will popup saying "'Hello, you've been bluejacked' has just been received by Bluetooth" or something along those lines. For most 'victims' they will have no idea as to how the message appeared on their phone. So, personalised messages like 'I like your pink top' and the startled expressions that result is where the fun really starts.

Bluejacking is quite harmless, but because bluejacked people don't know what is happening, they think their phone is malfunctioning. Usually, a bluejacker will only send a text message, but with modern phones it's possible to send images or sounds as well.

But with the increase in the availability of bluetooth enabled devices, these devices have become vulnarable to virus attacks and even complete take over of devices through a trojan horse program.

Go to Contacts.
Create a new contact.
Write the short message you want to send on the line next to 'Last name'
Save this contact.
Select this contact and send via Bluetooth.
Your phone will search for devices
All the Bluetooth devices near you will be displayed.
Select any one you like and send.
You have bluejacked someone.

You can also send pictures to your victim by adding them to your bluejack contact. The best thing about this is even if the victim rejects the contact that you sent him/her, the picture gets automatically saved in the victim's My Pictures section.

Accelerometer

How it works.
The accelerometer inside iPhone uses three elements: a silicon mass, a set of silicon springs, and an electrical current. * Turn off the LCD. The LCD uses up a lot of your camera's battery life, so it's better to keep it turned off and use the camera's viewfinder instead.
* Plan your shots before turning on the camera. Turning the camera on and off after every shot will use up more battery power than turning the camera on, taking a few shots and then turning it off.
* Try using higher exposure settings over flash when your battery seems to be dying out. Flash requires lot of battery power.
* Most people have a tendency to keep seeing the clicked images. It is best to avoid playback of the pictures and videos you just clicked. This will help in conserving the battery life.
These tips will easily get you a few more shots out of your digital camera with the same old batteries. Though, the best thing to do to avoid situations where you are stranded with dying batteries is to carry an extra battery pack for your camera.

If you have problems with cell reception while you're in your car, you might be able to use a car kit to boost your phone's power. These kits usually require professional installation. They increase the maximum power of your phone's signal and route it to an external antenna on your car's windshield or roof. They also usually include a cradle that you dock your phone in when it's the car and a hands-free speaker and microphone.

Locked Your Keys in the Car ?

If your car has a remote lock/unlock device (and you have a second one, say at home - aside from the one on your keychain that's locked inside the car) you can call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone, hold your phone about a foot from your car door, and have the person at home press the unlock button on the device, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other remote for your car, you can unlock the doors.

Flashing Samsung D500 New Firmware

I. Introduction

First of all, I'll start with a warning:
FLASHING THE D500 WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND IS COMPLETELY AT OWN RISK!
Beneath are the things you need to flash the Samsung D500:

A Samsung D500 Flash cable (not the Data cable!)
A 9 Volt Battery for the Flash cable
The Corona-Downloader > available in misc-section

II. Backup Guide

First thing you need to do is make a backup of your own firmware, so that in case the flashing of the new firmware fails, you can still flash your old firmware back. Now let's get started.

Connect the flash cable at a COM-Port on the back of your computer.
(Check your settings of the COM-Port at the Hardware Settings, the Baud-setting must be at 115200)
Conect a 9 Volt Battery on the Flash Cable.
Remove your Sim-Card from the phone and put the battery back.
Please note: The battery must be completely loaded before the flashing process!

Start the Corona-Downloader, choose the COM-Port (1) where you have mounted the flash cable on and select 115200 at Serial-Port (2).
Click on START (3) in Corona-Downloader. "POWER ON the PHONE" should come up in the window. Now push the Power-Button on your Phone, and start up your phone like you normally do it. Now something should be happening in the window of Corona-Downloader as it's searching the settings of the phone. This takes about 30 seconds.
Push Explorer at NAND Flash Operation (4). A new Window comes up. Here, you choose NAND Full Dump. Another window comes up. Choose a place on your hard disk where you would like the Backup to be saved, and then choose a name for the file. Click save and the backup should now begin. It takes up to 2,5 Hours and the Backup-File will be around 130 MB.

III. Flashing Guide

For the flashing process it's almost the same as the backup guide so this'll be easy

Connect the flash cable at a COM-Port on the back of your computer.
(Check your settings of the COM-Port at the Hardware Settings, the Baud-setting must be at 115200)
Connect a 9 Volt Battery on the Flash Cable.
Remove your Sim-Card from the phone and put the battery back.
Please note: The battery must be completely loaded before the flashing process!

Select BIN+TFS (4) at Corona-Downloader. Now search for the BIN (5) and TFS (6) on your hard disk. Once you're ready to start flashing, click on Download (7). The Flashing now begins. Flashing the BIN takes normally 35 Min. and the TFS takes 53 Min., that means 1,5 Hours in total. Once finished, a "Download Complete" message appears on your screen .

After you have flashed the phone you can remove the flash cable. Then insert the SIM-Card and start your phone for testing.
Once you started your phone, you can use the code *#1234# to check if the new firmware is correctly installed.

Photos, Ringtones, pictures, videos and mp3"s remain on the phone and the IMEI also remains the same.

What is a Phone Lock?

Nokia's webpage:
"The Phone Lock prevents your phone data from being accessed if Your phone is stolen.
"The lock code is a number that prevents unauthorized persons from Using your phone. These control codes are for your protection."

What is THE-NOKIA-UNLOCK:

The program exploits a design flaw in the nokia mobile phones to remove The Phone Lock protection. The program was tested on Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680. The program
Should work on any other Symbian based mobile phones (including Sony Ericson and all modern nokia phones and many others). This tool does not remove the sim-lock.

How to use:
You need two mobile phones.

1) Do _not_ turn off the mobile phone!
2) Remove the Memory Card (MMC) from the locked phone and put it into a second mobile. Install FExplorer on the second mobile phone. Create the directory E:\System\Recogs and copy the-nokia-unlock.mdl into this directory.
3) Remove the Memory Card and place it into the locked phone. The THE-NOKIA-UNLOCK program should start after 120 seconds.
4) Remove the battery. Remove the MMC. Put the battery back and restart. The Phone Lock has been reset to "12345".

Why does this work?

The Phone Lock disables the key pad, Bluetooth and the USB port. This makes it impossible to access the data stored on the device without knowing the correct code. Nevertheless the MMC is not disabled. Nokia's OS has a lot of undocumented features. One of them are 'recognizer' that can be used to execute a program when the phone boots. A recognizer is loaded and executed when a drive is mounted. The MMC is mounted when it is placed into the mobile phone _even_ when the phone is locked.

THE-NOKIA-UNLOCK is a recognizer that implementes yet another undocumented feature to perform a hard reset (by software) on the phone.

Note: The same recognizer-autostart method can be used to quickly install a backdoor on a locked mobile phone or to propagate a virus: Get in, Get Out, Get Away.

If you have any files that are important to you, make backups.

1. Make sure you phone is fully charged.

2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card (if possible).

3. Switch-off your 6600 phone.

then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.

DO NOT let go the three keys until you see the "formatting" screen displayed

5. After a few minutes, the format will be complete. Your 6600 will now be at its original factory settings.

How To Unlock And Hack Memory Card When You Forget Your Memory Card Password

Some times it happens that you forgot the password of your memory card and you have lots of your important data in your phone.

So there are two types of methods for recovering the password of your memory card with the help of nokia phone.

For Nokia s60 1st and 2nd edition phones.

1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.

2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore

3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.

4. At the end of the file you will find your password.

For Nokia S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series

There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.

The remote lock option in E-Series phone allws you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.

The only thing you have to do is to activate this feature by going to Tools | Settings | Security | Phone and SIM | Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.

So you have to just send a sms containing your remote lock message that will automatically change your memory card passsword.

KEEP YOUR MOBILE:

Charged: Ensure your battery is fully charged, and then completely run it down before recharging. Recharging too early causes your battery to run out of power more quickly.
Secure: For security reasons, enable the PIN on your SIM Card and Phone-lock on your phone to avoid unauthorized used. These security checks will also be activated when the phone is power cycled. You can check with your carrier or the phone manual for the features and also for information on blocking your SIM card and phone IMEI number if the phone is stolen. Protected: Make sure you use a keypad lock to lock your phone. Unplanned calls can cost a fortune and even though your phone may be in a safe place, such as in a bag, your phone will still get knocked around to a surprising degree. Rough treatment can damage electronic circuit boards so avoid dropping or unnecessarily shaking your phone.
Battery: Be safe with your batteries. Use only genuine batteries from your phone manufacturer and only buy from authorized dealers. Going for the cheap option of a counterfeit battery can be dangerous.
Clean: Don't use harsh detergents, cleaning solvents or harsh chemicals to clean your phone. Wipe only with a soft cloth.
Covered: a protective cover will help repel dust and dirt, and prevent scratches. Make sure the cover you choose is of good quality. Low quality covers with no air pockets can damage you phone by creating humidity inside the cover.
Storing your phone: Always store your phone in a dry place. Avoid rain, high humidity and liquids. All of these may contain minerals that could corrode the electronic circuits.
At the right temperature: To ensure a long life, keep your phone in a stable temperature. Avoid exposing your phone to liquid and/or exposing your phone to extreme temperature change from hot to cold and vice versa. This might create condensation and damage the phone.

The mobiles industry wants as many people as possible to enjoy the benefits of mobile telecommunications and encourages individuals to use their mobile phones in a responsible manner and to be considerate and aware of situations where using their mobile phone might annoy others.

1. When in doubt, always go out

When possible go outside or to another room to make your call if your call might disturb others. Also, features such as text messaging answering services, call diversion and vibration alert can be used to receive important calls without disturbing others.

2. If you can?t turn it off, use silent mode

If you need to keep your phone on for important calls, then turn it to silent or vibrate mode. It?s the ring of a mobile phone in inappropriate places and times such as at the tennis or in restaurants which annoys people the most.

3. When required turn your phone off and check it?s off

There are some places where people should never talk on a mobile phone or send text messages and where the ringing of a mobile phone or message alert is considered highly unacceptable, such as: movies, stage shows, weddings, funerals, concerts, speeches, classrooms and lectures. In these cases, turn your phone off and remember to check it?s off before you enter the venue. You can always check your voicemail, text messages or your answering service afterwards.

4. Keep your conversations private

People?s sense of personal space varies in each situation. Making a call in a busy pub may be okay, but talking loudly in a confined space like a lift or on a train tends to infringe on others personal space. Be aware of where you are and who you are with and what others are doing before deciding to make or accept a call. In some situations it might be better to send a text message.

5. Speak softly

Mobile phones have very sensitive microphones that can pick even the softest voice, so there is no need to shout. If you are having trouble hearing the other caller, check that you have the volume on your phone set high enough.

6. You don?t always have to answer- use your messaging service

It?s a natural reflex to answer your phone if it rings, however, if you forget to put your phone on silent or vibrate mode and it rings at an inappropriate moment, send the call to voice mail or your answering service (usually by pressing the hang-up key).

7. Talk to the one you?re with

If you receive a call during a conversation, send the call to your voicemail or answering service. Your first priority should be to the person you are with. However, if you are expecting an important call let the person you?re with know before the call arrives and excuse yourself before accepting the call.

8. Don?t send inappropriate messages

Messaging is a great way to communicate, but don?t send offensive or threatening text, voice, picture or any other sort of message, because it is a criminal offence to use a mobile phone to menace or harass someone. Also receivers can save messages and easily identify you as the sender.

9. Respect others' privacy when using in-phone cameras

In-phone cameras shouldn?t be used anywhere a normal camera would be considered inappropriate, such as in change rooms or toilets. You should ask for permission before you take someone?s picture. Also bear in mind that some venues do not allow the use of cameras and may refuse entry to anyone with one.

10. Ban the ring: not the phone

Wherever conversations are normally acceptable, venues can help by asking people to turn their phones to silent or vibrate mode rather than turning it off. This approach will help with compliance, especially for people who need their phone for important calls. Venues can also assist by reminding people to set their phones to silent mode, before they enter.
