As I was looking for an application that will allow me to take photos and upload them directly to my facebook and also to tag some pictures like the one I use to have in my Android htc magic , I came cross this new app “ Nokia messaging for Social networking “ the application is still in beta ,i have been using it for almost a week now and its working really fine on my e72 expt sometime its little bite slow . For now the application supports face book and Twitter but nokia claims it will be supporting other communities soon.
The application comes preinstalled in some of the new nokia devices like the C3 - C6 - E5 and the Nokia n8 .

Egypt bans Skype & VoIP services on mobile internet connection .

Fring & Nimbuzz are my most TOP favorite application that I use all time to keep in touch with my friends & family anywhere anytime , also they have become very popular in Egypt for the past years . Fring & Nimbuzz don’t offer only free VOIP but it also lets users communicate with friends on popular networks ( like MSN Messenger®, GoogleTalk™, AIM®, ICQ® , Facebook® & Twitter over their mobile phone's internet connection and recently you can also make video calls .

Now I cant log any of them on my phone on all three mobile networks ( Mobinil , Etisalat , Vodafone ) those rumors have come true . Egypt already took action and banned Skype,so even if you are having your USB modem connected to your laptop or netbook with a very high internet speed up to 24 mbps like some of the mobile operators offer but you will not be able to access your skype or Fring , Nimbuzz or your Gizmo5 anymore .
The ban takes place because the Egyptian law requires international calls to pass through a network of state-controlled, fixed-line monopoly Telecom Egypt.

Egypt's ban comes after the United Arab Emirates said earlier in the month it would not give Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) licenses to international companies such as Skype.

The ban does not extend to Fixed-line (ADSL) internet

**Solving the ‘update error’
Oky while I was installing Numbizz (Version 0.9.1 ) on my Nokia N95 I got this Error message ( Update error ) and the installation shuts down .
To solve this Problem go to the Application manager and remove the ‘APSServer’. After that, the installation of Nimbuzz should succeed and the APSServer will be re-installed.
Its not really a big Problem and its very easy to solve so no need to worry , I hope they would fix it with the next update

emTube is an application for Symbian S60 3rd edition phones that allows you to:

This New version of the free Yahoo! Go! For I have tried it recently on my Nokia n95 . Version 2 was actually pretty handy , including mapping and routing and support for built-in GPS.(kind of the same like Google Maps 2.0 with My Location ) . Version 3.0 is much better email handling , more news, satellite maps, live traffic with support for Mobile Widgets.

Google Maps 2.0 with My Location (beta)!

Google maps 2.0 is the most recent version of Google Maps for Mobile for Symbian os S60 3rd edition smartphones , the first thing I did noticed when I was installing it on my nokia n80 and n95 and my Friend’s e61i is that is not a java application what i was downloading and installing is a .SISx application . The Second thing is the new my location feature that kind-of shows “You Are Here” your current location by using cell tower ID information to tell mobile phone users where they are and what destinations are nearby .Your location may not be exact, but it should be pretty close.. I guess this is very good for people who do not have a GPS in there handsets .
In addition to My Location, Google Maps 2.0 also offers real-time traffic information, detailed search and directions, and integration with many internal and some external GPS accessories. The application really rocks and I think like google earth its important for lots of people

Windows Live Messenger is Back For Nokia N Series & Symbian 3rd Edition

I have started using Live Messenger for the first time on my Nokia e61 it was the best and I really preferred it much more than any other messenger application since its free and its got all the Windows live messenger features you need like Capturing photos from your camera and sending them , sending photos and files , and Voice Clip Chat .. etc …
Then it turned to be not free and only 2 month trial .
Lately I have been reading that Nokia and Microsoft have partnered to provide customers with a new suite of Windows Live services specifically designed for Nokia devices .
The Application enables access to :
*Synchronize Hotmail/MSN email and contacts with your mobile phone.
*Send and receive files images, sound clips and voice clips.
*Take photos from your camera and send them
*Play voice clips sent by others.
* Sort contacts by online status/display name.
* Phone vibration when someone sends a buzz/nudge.
