Tan in a Can

I have a little over a month until my annual March cruise. This is the time of year where we ramp up our exercise routines and my girlfriend starts tanning. She mentioned to me the other day how she normally is against spray tanning but recently changed her mind. She was telling me a story about a girl she works with that started using a tan in a can product that looked really natural. She is pretty stubborn so I am actually surprised she liked it. Now my girlfriend is talking about picking some up, which is an even bigger miracle. I’m all for it because of not only the cost savings but also the health benefits of avoiding exposure to artificial methods of tanning.

Dealing With Back Pain

Ever since her car accident last year, my girlfriend has experienced intermittent back pain. It was just a minor collision but from my understanding it doesn’t take much to throw something out of whack. She went through physical therapy which did help but being that she is so stubborn she stopped going, prematurely. Right now I am trying to talk her into going back as I think it can be the key to her avoiding a discectomy if at all possible.

Finding a New Hobby

I was a bit of a geek as a child and I am proud to say I have never moved beyond that phase of my life. When I was a kid my main obsessions were comic books and model planes. These days my interests are in anything tech related. Computers, tablets and cell phones are all right up my alley. I have a friend that is trying to get me into remote control nitro cars but at the moment I think I have too much on my plate.

However, I will say that some of the remote control planes I have checked out have really caught my eye. I think once I manage to free up adequate funds I may have to dip my toe into that pool.

A Little Obsession Goes a Long Way

I’ve been put in charge of looking for a villa rental for a group of us for the summer. I probably over research everything but I am a bit of a perfectionist that way. Its funny, I am the kind of person who obsesses over everything from layout of the rooms down to small details such as the brand of cutlery in the kitchen to whether the pool has a pentair pool light for night swimming. To many people these details aren’t important but by accepting the responsibility to do the research I am (in a sense) responsible for everything. When you are expecting a group of 10 people to fork over thousands of dollars for a vacation home I think a little obsession is the right thing to do.

The Perfect Bag for a College Student

If you are in need of something to carry around your school books than leather backpacks cannot be beat. While its true that some of the nylon ones are just as study and durable they cannot match the style of a leather backpack. It also doesn’t need to be a backpack these days messenger bags are also very popular. I missed my opportunity for the perfect Christmas present for my nephew since I didn’t think about this until the day after Christmas, but his birthday is coming up. Right now he just has one of the Jansport type bags but will be going away to college next fall and in my opinion he needs something that looks a bit more mature.
