ok I have a problem since around 5ish this afternoon my trackpad and keyboard are barely responding.

ok I have a problem since around 5ish this afternoon my trackpad and keyboard are barely responding.
trackpad: I basically can’t move the trackpad around nor select what I need I basically need to select and application on the menu (let’s say bbm ) then go back to be able to move around some “app” and select something,
as for my keyboard it doesn’t response correctly if I write a text or on BBM evenif I write as slowly as possible the words won’t form completely on the screen as well as the symbols.

I’ve tried everything removing the battery, let the battery die and charging again but alas no effect.
I didn’t drop my phone or anything as I was working the olnly thing that hapened is that basically my phone starting to have some kind of massive bug I couldn’t leave twitter, nor fb and started calling randomly my contact.

I only have it since september and it’s in perfect use.

I upgraded from 4869 beta, got the password prompt after 10 minutes. did a security wipe, and reinstalled os2 2.0.7971, set up Gmail under Exchange again, 45 minutes later the prompt comes back! I also tried the unlock Captcha link

I upgraded from 4869 beta, got the password prompt after 10 minutes. did a security wipe, and reinstalled os2 2.0.7971, set up Gmail under Exchange again, 45 minutes later the prompt comes back! I also tried the unlock Captcha link 3 times and resetting the password.

Is there a fix for this? Does RIM know about this bug? I have an ancient iphone 3g and push email, calendar, and contacts, works with no problems when gmail is set using exchange.

If there’s no fix, then I guess I’ll sideload K-9 mail.

I seem to be having a problem saving and deleting drafts for one of my mail accounts set up in the native mail app.
It’s a work account, Outlook webmail set up through exchange activesync.
Drafts don’t seem to save changes and I have a problem deleting the drafts I don’t use. I get the confirm delete msg, the body of the selected mail goes white (with no text), but the empty draft stays on the message list.

Is there a way to set your phone (Bold 9900) NOT to play calender alarms between certain hours? We have an east coast office (3hrs ahead) and it seems that when they send around an Outlook calender item (presentation or meeting) the appointment puts itself in my BB calender then goes off in the wee hours of the morning our time. I still want phone calls to get through (emergencies etc …) and if I can avoid it I’d rather not change profile each night as I’ll probably forget to change it back in the morning. I just want to say “between the hours of 11pm and 6.30am no alarms are audible.”

I use the playbook as my primary electronic device at the moment but after the os2 update I can’t even trust that the Apps I have open will remain open when I navigate away from them! The browser constantly crashes, the messages app crashes, the adobe reader app crashes – the playbook was way more stable in the 1.0.8 release. I hope they do something about this soon because even though I love having email on the playbook I would much rather that I have an operating system I can count on to be stable. Cmon rim!
