How to Reset and Restore IPhone to Original Default Factory Settings with Recovery Mode...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your IPhone showing following issues.....

If the problem still persists after you have reseted the IPhone, or tried various IPhone troubleshooting, it may be worthwhile to invoke recovery mode to restore IPhone to default factory settings, the original state as when you first received and unwrapped the phone.

Restoration of IPhone to original factory defaults will likely to fix all problem, with the downside that all data and info stored on your phone will be lost. Normally iTunes will make a backup automatically when you connect and synchronize the IPhone with the program, however, its still a good recommendation to copy out and backup everything that you may need on the IPhone before proceed to restore the IPhone.

To restore IPhone and reset the IPhone to default factory settings, follow these steps

1. Make sure that your IPhone is connected to the computer using USB 2.0 port and internet.

2. make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your Mac or Windows PC. Run

iTunes program as a utility for restoring it. If you dont have any ITunes program, download it from the Apple website at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download.

3. Press Home and Power (sleep/wake button) buttons of your IPhone for 10 seconds. Once the screen is off and an Apple logo appears, release Prower button and continue pressing Home button while Apple icon appears until it shows a message Connect to iTunes. Then your IPhone is now ready for recovery.If your IPhone is not responsive and iTunes does not detect it we must put your phone in DFU mode.

4. Close iTunes and restart it again and the IPhone Icon in the ITunes program will appear at the left side menu.

5. Click the IPhone Icon and a menu will appear to restore it.

6. Click Restore and a downloading task will appear (it will download all the files around 160MB for the recovery from Apple server). Once the downloading is done, it will automatically restore all the IPhone base applications and your IPhone is ready for use.

Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the IPhone will be back to the original settings state as when it left the manufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face any problem, unless it’s hardware related.

Then wait untill it detects the modem interface. After the detection of Modem, you will get the following window. Press Cancel:

Press Yes to Quit from the Firmware Update Process and this completes Step 2

Step 3

Run QMAT and select : Hardware Forensics -> Use Com/USB Port:

Select the correct COM interface which was detected by Firmware Updater:

Select Command VERNUM and Press Send Cmd. Then you will get version number and display Successfully Send Command at Bottom of the window if you correctly set the COM interface. If this not success then make sure you are selected correct COM interface.

Now Select Read EFS and set the End address as 00001000 and then press Lets Go. Now you will be asked to save the file. Give the name as Flash.bin and save it anywhere. You will get Successfully read EFS if everything went ok.

Step 4:

Run XVI32 Hex Editor and Open the saved file Flash.bin:

Find the String 53 64 2C 00 in the dump. Select menu item, Search -> Find:

In the same line of the corresponding place of the right side window will show the 8 digit lock code of your modem. It is easy to find, because there is no other 8 consecutive digit in the same line of the string 53 64 2C 00. Just keep searching until you find an 8 digit code grouped together.

Final Step:

Run E220 SIM Lock Unlock and enter the unlock code of your modem:

How to Unlock Nokia Mobile Phones

Mobile phones fresh from the manufacturer, technically, should work with any network provider, as long as you have a Subscriber Identity Module, typically known as a SIM card. If you got your Nokia phone at a promotional price from you network provider though, then most likely, it was ‘locked' before you purchased your cell phone. You don't have to worry though, because you can actually unlock your Nokia phone yourself. Here are a few steps on how you can do it:

Contact your network provider. You can call your network provider and ask them for the unlock code of your cell phone.
Download software that generates unlock codes. Online there are websites that offer software, either for free or for a fee, to help you unlock your cell phone.
Locate your serial number. Typically labeled as IMEI, the serial number can be obtained by looking underneath the cell phone after removing the battery, or by simply typing in *#06# on your cell phone.
Remove your SIM Card, and power on your cell phone. A message "Insert SIM Card" should appear on the screen of your cell phone.
Use the downloaded software. Enter your Manufacturer (in this case, Nokia, of course) and codes are then generated, which you can use to unlock your cell phone.
Key in all of the characters generated by the software. Make sure that you are able to enter in all of the symbols. To get a ‘+', you have to press * two times. Unlock Linksys SPA-2102 with Live CD

Semi-Automated Unlocking of the SPA-2102 is now possible by using a custom Live CD. The Live CD handles much of the work involved in preparing your system to unlock the SPA, although some manual steps are still required.

Instructions:

Download the Live CD here (MD5: 4bfdf4d238d0405305e874a8ada53e1a). This will redirect to Sourceforge.net for more reliable downloads.
Burn the ISO image to CD
To run the LiveCD, you will need:
- PC or Intel MAC with a CD-ROM
- An ethernet cable, switch, or hub
- A locked SPA2102-r
Reboot your computer using the LiveCD.
Follow the directions and prompts as they are presented to you.
None of the pauses should last for more than five minutes. If they last that long, it is because your network connection to the SPA2102 is bad. Try a different cable(s) or a crossover cable and restart the CD.
The username and password for web administration will be set to admin' and qwe%zxc5 , respectively.
The URL to access the web interface, from the ETHERNET port, after unlocking the device will usually be http://192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced. If this does not work, try connecting the device to your switch or router using the INTERNET port - it will acquire an IP address from your router and accept connections to the web interface on that address. To determine what IP address it acquired, please reference the product manuals or literature for your specific router/switch/gateway.

Your device is now unlocked! You can now take it to another provider.

How to Remove SunRocket's Configuration from Your LinkSys ATA

From a web browser, go to http:///admin/voice/advanced (replacing, of course, with the IP address you use to access the web interface of your Linksys).
Clear the "Restricted Access Domains" field.
Go to http:///admin/resync?http://www.themolavis.com/sunrocket-cleanup.xml (replacing, of course, with the IP address you use to access the web interface of your Linksys).

Your Sunrocket configs are now deleted.

Unlocking Gizmo Linksys SPA2102 to work with ViaTalk

As promised, here are the directions to unlocking your gizmo(Lynksys SPA-2102 VOIP Router) to work on ViaTalk's servers.

Step 1: Enable web access (perform functions on home phone)
1. dial ****
2. dial 723646#
3. dial 78778839#
4. dial 1#
5. dial 1 to save

Step 2: Remove access restrictions
1. Go to 192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced
2. Enter admin for user and 7UprUtew for password
3. Click on system. Delete the contents of Restricted Access Domain so that it is blank.
4. Hit Submit all changes.

Step 3: Load updated firmware
1. Go to http://itrealm.net/spa2102-5.1.9.zip (or from Linksys support) and download to desktop
2. Right click on zip file, extract here.
3. Double click on upg-spa2102-5-1-9.exe
4. Enter 192.168.0.1 for IP hit ok
5. Enter password 7UprUtew hit ok
6. Router stats are displayed, hit upgrade.
7. Hit ok to close utility.

Step 4: Configure Gizmo
1. Go to 192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced
2. Enter admin for user and 7UprUtew for password
3. Click on Line1.
4. Change proxy to the server name provided by viatalk.
5. Change outbound proxy to the server name provided by viatalk.
6. Change display name to whatever you wish.
7. Change password to the password that was provided by viatalk.
8. Set use auth id to yes, and set the auth ID text field to your phone number.
9. Set user id to your new viatalk phone number. Don't forget the '1' at the beginning.
10. Click submit all changes to save your settings.
11. Click on provisioning.
12. Delete the contents of both profile rule and upgrade rule so they are blank.
13. Click submit all changes to save your settings.
14. Click on Router.
15. Click on WAN Setup.
16. Change primary ntp server to north-america.pool.org(or pick a different time server from ntp.org)
17. Change secondary ntp server to pool.ntp.org (or pick a different time server from ntp.org)
18. Click submit all changes to save your settings.

All done. You should see your phone settings light up.

There are many websites which simply list codes for your mobile phone without charge. Many people believe the practice of locking mobile phones is anti-competitive and thus there's a lot of information to help consumers fight back against this.

Who is this for?

The free method works best for older Nokia mobile phones and some other older handsets. Yet its worth everyone quickly trying to see if you can find a code for your phone, though after trying that, go to Method 2.

Step 1. Get your facts right.

To find a working unlocking code for your handset, you need three pieces of info; its brand/model number, the network, and the IMEI code. Here's how to find them.

Brand and model number. Chances are you already know this, as it's likely to be written on the handset, it's box, and any documentation you got when you bought it, so I'll move on.
The network. This is simply the network the phone's currently locked to, not the one you want to get on.
The IMEI. The "International Mobile Equipment Identity" is a unique number given to all mobile phones, which gets marked as invalid when phones are reported lost or stolen. To find your IMEI, simply type *#06# into your handset, and note down the number that appears.

Step 2. Find an unlocking code.

There are a raft of websites dedicated to phone unlocking. Which you should head for first depends on your handset brand.

Nokia phones. The easiest way to unlock older Nokias is via codes found on sites like Trycktill, Unlock Nokiafree or Unlockitfree.
Other brands. Both Trycktill and Unlockitfree do list a few codes for other brands, though no where near as many as for Nokias. Some handsets by other manufacturers are not unlockable by freely-available codes, but it's still worth running a quick Google search to see if yours is one of the few that is (though do check it's a legitimate source). Also you'll find a full discussion of other phone in the Unlocking non-Nokia phones discussion in the Mobile Phone Forum.

If it transpires that you can't unlock your phone with a free code go to Method 2.

Step 3. Use it!

The sites above will generate a code based on the info you provided, so double check it's right first. The code will look something like this. #pw+2746763089+1# (Nokia phones), or *2767*637# (Other makes).

To unlock, take the Sim card out of the phone and put in a different network's Sim. Now you can put the code in...

How to enter the code.

Rather than using the regular text keys you need to use the * key if you want to produce letters as opposed to numbers. To produce a ‘p', press the * button three times within two seconds; to produce a ‘w', press the * button four times within two seconds; to produce a ‘+', press the * button twice within two seconds.

You should now get a message saying ‘phone restriction off' (or words to that effect). You only have five attempts to enter the correct code so be extremely careful. If none are successful, the phone will still work, but you'll have to go to the network or a retailer to get it unlocked instead.

Method 2. Buy a code

If you haven't found a free code, it may be possible to buy one. Obviously the aim here is to find the code as cheaply as possible and it's only worth doing if the reason you're going to unlock your phone will save you more than the cost.

Who is this for?

This applies to most modern handsets, so it's always worth trying, but if it doesn't work then there's still a chance using Method 3.

First, get a quote from your network.

Phone your current network and ask it how much it'll charge for an unlock code. Unfortunately, networks tend to play fast and loose with their unlocking fees, to the extent it often seems they're making them up as they go along. You may be quoted anything between £20 and £120, depending on your handset, network, and it seems, which way the wind is blowing that day.

Vodafone is the only exceptions from all this cloak-and-dagger pricing; its contract customers can get phone unlock codes for free regardless of how far into the contract they are, and so can Pay As You Go customers provided they've been with the network for at least 12 months. If not, a reasonable flat-rate £19.99 is payable.

Important note: If your network cannot quote you a price for an unlock code, then the chances are your phone isn't unlockable by code (they should tell you this if asked). If that's the case, don't bother looking at other sites that sell codes, they may charge you just to tell you it isn't possible. Go straight to method 3 instead.
Then, try the dedicated unlockers.

Having got a benchmark unlocking price from your network, you can hit the web and the high st. to see if they'll beat it. If looking online, be sure you know exactly what you're getting before you pay; read the terms and conditions to make sure they won't fob you off with something other than the code you need. Also, always check the legitimacy of sites; there are some dodgy operators working in this business.

Whilst the web's probably not the best place to look, it's likely there are businesses offering mobile unlocking on your local high street. Check phone shops, markets and even some newsagents and key-cutters; they might be cheaper. The added advantage of these is that if they can't do the job you won't be charged, whereas on the web you may pay regardless.

It can take anything between 15 minutes and a week for your code to come through, depending on the network. Once it arrives, follow the instructions in method 1 to put it into the handset.

Method 3. Unlock via a cable

If all else fails, your phone may only be unlockable by the physical use of a cable attachments. You can either pay to have it unlocked, or, if you've a head for technology, do it yourself.

Use a high street/market unlocking service

Since you're going to have to post your phone to any online unlocking service, a process which can in itself be costly and cause headaches, the local unlockers have the upper hand here. It's worth asking for a few quotes and playing the sellers against each other. With these sorts of services, you may be surprised at how far a bit of haggling can go too.
Do it yourself.

If you fancy yourself as tech-savvy, you can also buy a cable on eBay or cheaper accessory websites and download free software which should do the trick. This can get complicated, so be sure to research it thoroughly online before parting with your cash for the unlocking 'clip'. Be very careful though; this is only for the technologically experienced who can work through all issues.

There are different clips for each brand, and often for different handsets within that brand, so be sure to get the right one for your needs. If you only want to unlock one handset, then the most economical option may be to buy the clip, unlock the phone, and then re-sell it on eBay to recoup your costs.
