For ROOTED phones with UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER only

Compatible for Builds 4.0.2.A.0.42/.58/.62 FW

1. Take a screenshot of your phone's Status and Info and save it to your desktop. This is for your reference. Take note of the Build Number. (e.g 4.0.2.A.0.62)

Go to > Settings > About Phone

2. Download this attachment. Rename the downloaded attachment to just boot.img

3. Download Modules.zip

PUT THE FIRST ATTACHMENT INSIDE THE FASTBOOT FOLDER.

PUT THE 2ND ATTACHMENT (Modules.zip) on the root directory of your SD CARD.

4. Turn off your phone.

5. Hold down the 3rd key of your phone (on the right) then connect the USB cable to your PC.

6. Open your fastboot folder then Right Click anywhere inside the folder and Select "Open Command Line Here".

7. Type: fastboot flash boot boot.img

8. Once done flashing, Reboot your phone. You will notice the start up screen of Doomkernel. While on that boot screen, keep pushing the Volume down key to enter CWM.

9. On CWM mode, Select " Install zip from sd card " then "Choose zip from sdcard"

10. Select the 2nd attachment that you downloaded earlier (Modules.zip).

11. Reboot phone and check Settings> About Phone> Kernel version should be like this :

REMINDER : Doomlord's Kernel is not smooth when using a STOCK ROM. I suggest you Flash your phone with Arconium to feel the drastic change.

► Unlocking the Bootloader will void the phone's warranty.
► Unlocking the Bootloader will wipe the phone's data.
► Do not perform Software Update once phone's Bootloader has been unlocked or else it will be bricked.

1. Download FASTBOOT PACKAGE and 32bit and 64 bit DRIVERS

2. Go to this LINK

3. At the bottom click 'Continue' and enter your IMEI (type *#06# to find out), name and email address

4. The site will give your UNLOCK KEY. Save it in a notepad.

5. Extract fastboot.rar and open fastboot folder.

6. Hold SHIFT and right click on the background of the folder. Select " Open Command Command Window here ".

7. Connect your phone in fastboot mode (turn phone off, hold menu button and plug in USB Cable)

MENU BUTTON IS THE LAST BUTTON AT THE RIGHT.

8. In the cmd windows type in fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version.

If it returned a value, It means the phone is connected properly.

9. Type in fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY and replace KEY with the key provided in step 4.

1. On your phone, go to :

Go to Settings > Sony Ericsson > Connectivity > USB Connection Mode > Select MTP Mode > Ok

Go to Settings > Applications > Unknown Sources [√]

Go to Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging [√]

2 . Connnect your Xperia Arc S to your PC.

► A prompt on your PC will show up indicating that drivers are being installed.

► A prompt from your phone will show up asking you to install PC Companion. Select "Install".

► Wait until drivers and PC companion are completely installed.

3. Disconnect your phone and download Doomlord V4 Root - Zergrush

4. Extract the downloaded file on your Desktop using Winrar/Winzip/7z

5. Connect your phone again to your PC. This time, select "Skip"when prompted to install PC Companion.

6. Open the downloaded file (from #3) and double-click on the file - "runme.bat"

► A commandline window will open and your phone will be on the process of rooting.

7. Disconnect phone when done.

8. Check if you have the Icon " Superuser " on your applications.

► If present, your phone is now ROOTED.

What does it do?

It makes your phone FAST... super snappy with better multitasking!
It rearranges and fixes the OOM Groupings and Priorites and lowmemorykiller values.

So basically, it's a COMPLETE MEMORY MANAGEMENT FIX!

NO LAUNCHER REDRAWS, faster than ever, multitasking is better... why?
Because it works with the lowmemorykiller and letting it work the way it's meant to work.

Requirements :

1. MUST BE Rooted
2. Busybox Installer
Pick the 1.18.2 since it is the version where the author recommends.
2. Script Manager
4. 3rd Party Keyboard (Incase Stock won't work as it in my case)
5. V6 Supercharger V9RC4 Script

Instructions :

1. Run Script Manager. Press MENU then MORE and Advance Options then Config. CHECK Browser as root and press back.
2. Locate where is the script in your SDcard. Press then click the SU image, if its green, you're good to go. Press RUN.
3. Wait til the status check is over, when you are given a choices if Home Locked in Memory, Just say NO.
4. Press Enter Key if it states Press Return Key.
5. Now you are given choices from 1-31. Input 7 for Agressive UnLedded. It means, when you press HOME in your key, your apps are automatically put in a sleep state, or should i say, in quite mode, where it will use a little RAM only.
6. You can also choose 5 & 6 according to your preference.
7. Then After that you will need to reboot, but NOT YET. If it tells you to press Y for Superclean, Press N.
8. Then Press 31 to Exit the Script and Kill.
9. Press back on your Script Manager to go to Internal Memory. Go to data/99SuperCharger.Sh.
10. Click it, and Check SU and Boot. If Green and Blue icons are up you're good. Tap Save and go back to the Step 2.
11. Just Say No if its about Locked Homescreen. Then after your given again choices in 1-31. Press 20 for Nitro Lag Nullifier. This trick will further boost you're phone and become snappy.
12. After that, pick again and type 30 for Superclean & Restart. This is for the changes to take effect.
13. After your done restarting your phone. Again, run the script to see if the changes take effect.
14. Dont pick choices from 1-31. Scroll up, if u see text like this.

How to Flash and Install stock ROM Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 via ODIN

Disclaimer: We shall not be held not responsible if anything happens to your device by following this guide. Proceed at your own risk!

Needed files and tools:

Stock ROM - S5360DXKK4 (extract it after downloading) Password: sampro.pl
Odin Multi-downloader
PIT file - Tottoro.pit (Only needed for full flashing)
Driver - You need to install Kies to get the driver of your phone.
USB cable - use the supplied USB cable of your Galaxy Y.
PC or laptop - running on Windows or later OS.
Your Phone - Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360

Preparation before Flashing
Back-up all of your important data stored in the phone like contacts, messages and etc. Flashing will wipe and delete all of it.
Ensure that your phone is fully charge or above 50% charge. (If your phone had an auto-shutdown history, and its too old, use a newer or good working battery.
Remove the SIM card and the external memory card. (not necessarily but recommended to avoid any certain issues)
Hard Reset - We often do hard reset before flashing to clean the memory cache of the phone. Master reset code *2767*3855# .

1. Run the ODIN Downloader on your PC desktop.

2. Load the firmware in the designated button spaces.

Some files came only in a single packed like with tar.md5 file extension., and sometimes a 'SS_DL.dll' file also included on it. Others are confused where to put this file. Well, the S5360DXKK4_S5360LBKK1_S5360DXKK2_HOME.tar.md5 goes on to the PDA button section while the 'DLL' file in not to be used, it only be used on some other issues.
Again the "Repartition" check-box is not to be tick, only the Auto-Reboot and F.Reset Time are checked.

Setting up the Samsung Galaxy Y into Download Mode and Connecting to PC.

You need to set the device into download mode in order to let Odin recognize it. To set into download mode
Turn OFF the phone, then hold and press the three buttons Volume Down + Home + Power Key simultaneously, you are then opted into download mode screen use the Volume Up button to proceed. If you'll still not get into download mode, remove the battery a couple of seconds then put it back again and then press the download mode button combination again.

Once the phone displays the Android robot and says "Downloading..." Connect the phone to PC with the supplied USB cable. Odin will automatically recognize it if it's properly connected, the ID:COM mapping will highlight to color yellow and says "added" on the log box.

Start Flashing
Hit the "Start" Button when all are set perfectly to begin flashing.

CAUTION: Avoid touching the phone while the flashing already started, any interruption will result into serious issues like soft-brick or hard-brick.

Let the flashing completes, a progress bar displays until the firmware downloading process finishes. It only takes around 3 to 5 minutes, depends of your PC speed.
When a word "PASS" appears, it means that the flashing is successful. The phone will then reboot and after completely rebooted it is now safe to remove it from computer's connection.

Bandicam is high performance Game, Video, and Desktop recording software.

How to Record Windows Media Player Videos

Please, follow the steps below to record Windows Media Player video.
1. Click the 'Target' button, and check the 'DirectX/OpenGL window'.
- It's better to use the 'DirectX/OpenGL window' mode to get the high quality video file

2. Start Windows Media Player.
- Note: For stable operation, Bandicam needs to be run before Windows Media Player

3. While running a game by DirectX/OpenGL mode, you can see the green-colored number on the screen.
- You can control FPS (Frames per second) under the 'FPS' tab of the Bandicam
- Note: Only when the target is produced in the 'DirectX/OpenGL' window, the green-colored number (FPS) will be shown. If you can't see the green-colored number, click the 'Target' button, then select the 'Rectangle on a screen' mode

4. Click the 'F12' function key (or the 'Record' button of Bandicam) to start recording.

5. During recording, the green-colored number (FPS) will be changed to red.

6. To stop recording, click the 'F12' function key (or the 'Record' button of Bandicam) again.
- You may click the 'Pause' button to hold the recording (or click the 'F8' function key if you checked the option under the 'Video' tab)

7. To watch the recording file, click the 'Open' button under the 'General' tab of the Bandicam.

1. To minimize the computer lag, reduce the "Video Size, FPS, and Video Quality"

2. To make 1080p/720p/480p/360p video for YouTube, change the video format settings
Click Settings button under the Video tab, and change the Video Size from "Full Size" to "Fit Height", and then put "1080/720/480/360".

4. go to settings, menu, choose clear data, choose ok to proceed
5. exit application and reopen.
6. cancel initializing(cancel once), wait till installation finish, or if stuck, repeat 3-5

3. click or choose save
4. after choosing save, the prompt will be click or choose language (click any english or your preferred language)
